# Infinite Talent's Reset Life — Chapter 1
## Prologue
Whooosh!
The blue wind of the Rocky Mountains swept across the pasture, where the grass had grown tall.
A battered, dangling fence.
A dark-haired man and woman stood in front of an old wooden house.
A three-year-old boy toddled over and stopped behind them.
“…Are you sure this is the place?”
“Uh, probably?”
“John!”
“I don't know either!”
The only thing he remembered was his late grandfather telling him that if he wanted to change his life, he should come here.
At the words of the East Asian man in his twenties, whose entire body was covered in tattoos, the woman in her twenties, whose face was covered in piercings, lit up.
“You mean that grandfather of yours who was supposedly rich?”
“Yeah.”
When he was very young, the man used to ride around in a car driven by a chauffeur.
If only his father hadn't squandered his entire inheritance after his grandfather died, things wouldn't have ended up like this.
This was the vacation house his grandfather used to occasionally bring him to. He had claimed that he had originally lived here.
“Anyway, do you really think it's possible for someone like us, yellow people, to build up that kind of fortune in America in the seventies?”
It was impossible.
America in the 1970s, where even Black people, despite being the second-largest racial group, struggled to escape the working class.
For Asians, who were even fewer in number, it went without saying.
And if they were Koreans rather than Chinese or Japanese, even more so.
The two looked at the house again.
Just what could possibly be hidden in there?
“Hey, what if…”
“What?”
“What if your grandfather hid gold bars here?”
“Gold bars!”
If he had described it as something capable of changing his life, there might really be an enormous amount of gold bars buried here.
Their faces flushed red as the two began breathing heavily through their noses.
Happy fantasies took over their minds.
A future on the beaches of Miami, beneath the blazing sunlight, surfing during the day and sipping wine while admiring the night view from a five-star hotel at night.
A future of ecstasy in the desert oasis of Las Vegas, stepping out of a limousine and entering a casino under the protection of bodyguards, only to hit the jackpot.
“L-Let's find it!”
“Okay!”
The man, his eyes practically rolling back in his head, ran over and kicked the door down.
Bang!
Perhaps because it was already so old and worn, the door tore open.
“I'll go to the basement, so you go to the big room!”
“Got it!”
The little boy, who had been watching their actions, hunched his shoulders and followed them inside.
“Cough! Hack! Cough!”
The man who had boldly rushed into the basement came running back up.
The woman looked at him expectantly.
“Did you find it?”
“I-I don't know!”
He had only run away because he had accidentally swallowed the cloud of dust that had suddenly billowed up.
“You, you?”
“I haven't even opened the door yet?!”
The woman frowned as she looked at the man.
In that short time, he had already become covered in cobwebs and dust.
Ugh. Am I going to end up like that too?
She didn't like that.
Now slightly calmer, the woman looked at the boy who had just come inside.
Seeing his adorable, toddling steps, her frown deepened.
“John, what are we going to do with him if we really find the gold bars?”
The man stopped walking and looked at the little boy who was watching them nervously.
“Well… I don't think we'll really need him, will we?”
“Right?”
He was the result of their love, but an unwanted child.
To two people in their twenties who had so many things they wanted to do, the child was nothing but a shackle.
If they left him at home alone, the neighbors would report them and the police would come looking, so they simply dragged him around with them.
A guy more useless than trash.
“Then should we just leave him here?”
“…Good idea.”
The two looked at each other and smiled before finding the strength to take another step forward.
The boy stared blankly at them before moving toward a secluded corner.
As always.
Without attracting attention.
“Hehe.”
Beside the fireplace, in the darkest corner of the house, the boy crouched down with his back against the door.
That was when it happened.
“Huh?”
His body suddenly tipped backward.
After struggling for a moment, the boy eventually fell over and opened his eyes wide.
“Whoa…”
What was this?
Where was this place?
A vast universe unfolded before the boy's eyes.
A shining river flowed majestically beneath his feet.
Large and small glowing orbs brushed against his ankles as they flowed toward somewhere.
The boy picked up one of the silver-glowing orbs, about the size of his head.
Then words appeared before his eyes.
[…… …… …….]
“Huh? What dat?”
He hadn't learned how to read yet, so he didn't even know that the markings were letters.
Tilting his head from side to side, the boy soon opened his mouth wide and bit into the orb.
I'm hungry.
-Awooooooo!
Rumble!
The moment the howl of a wolf echoed inside his body, the universe began to shake and started being sucked into the boy's chest.
