Isekai Milf Story - Nunnery Arc (7): Reunion with My Former Mistress
"What the...? You're... that servant from our house, aren't you?"
Stella tilted her head to the side as she said it.
Her full name was Stella de Glishen Rosikesta—or, roughly speaking, the daughter of the Rosikesta baron's family in the Glissen Kingdom.
She was a girl about 160cm tall, just a bit taller than me, and three or four years older. Her elegantly curled golden long hair might remind someone of my patron goddess Luis at a glance, but the shape of her eyes was decisively different. Even through the loose fabric of her clothes, her bustline stood out prominently—a solid B- to C-cup.
A few months ago, those implanted memories had me slaving away at the baron's estate, so I could vividly recall seeing her stripped down to a single layer there. She never treated me like a man anyway, showing not a shred of shame as she wandered around the house half-naked. When I'd panic and try to stop her, her brother Daren would suddenly appear, putting on that clumsy villain act: "How dare a lowly servant scum like you toy with my sister!" Then he'd beat the crap out of me. And after that, some raging head butler or steward would have his goons give me another round of punishment. Meanwhile, Daren and Stella snickered behind their hands.
It wasn't something I'd lived through myself, but emotions stick, don't they?
Wait a sec. Why the hell is she wearing a nun's habit?
"Yeah, now I remember... I was wondering where you'd slunk off to... Turns out the idiot was hiding here?"
Daren had always called me with crude curses mixed in, but Stella softened it to "idiot" or something similar. Didn't make her disdain any less real.
I groveled naturally before her wicked little smirk, bowing my head.
"Um, miss... Lady, you see, the madam herself... she exiled me, so..."
Raoul is a free man now.
"Oh, right. I remember. Mom snuck you out back then, huh?"
She toyed with her upturned chin, looking down at me.
"I just don't get Mom sometimes. All we did was scold this dimwit a little for screwing up the work. Right, idiot?"
A little scolding that left my whole body black and blue? Cecilia and I had both been horrified when I checked in the mirror. And her mouth—still as foul as ever after all these months.
I could end this right now with a snap and some hypnosis, but I decided to savor the novelty without it. I had the leisure for it now, unlike before. And even if she wanted to strut around lording it over me, she couldn't do any real harm here. Especially not in that nun's habit, which was powerful evidence backing my hunch.
I took her barbs in stride, then cautiously opened my mouth.
"Um, but... why are you here, Miss Stella...?"
"........."
Her haughty expression twitched for a split second, then her face darkened.
Oof. What happened?
"...What business is it of yours, you scrawny commoner? Don't get cheeky..."
Her sharp retort came with a deeply furrowed brow. Something had definitely gone down.
What could it be? Did Stella screw up big time? Or was it the family's decision? At least the Rosikesta estate right next to Langshu hadn't collapsed—word would have spread if it had.
Eh, not important. I'd look into it later. A baron's family without real backing or solid foundations? Just another minor local clan A. No real interest there.
As those thoughts crossed my mind, Stella, who'd been staring me down, flicked her shimmering golden hair back with a dramatic sweep and tossed out a bombshell.
"Fine. You can start serving me again from today."
"S-serve you? But I'm working somewhere else now... I-I'm only staying at this Tierin Nunnery for a few months anyway."
"What? What kinda nonsense is that?"
I explained that I worked at a general store in Langshu's commercial district and was here as part of regional guild activities.
"...Whatever, too complicated. Just wait on me while you're here. I won't be sticking around long either. Probably..."
She brushed off my words like they were nothing, pulling the classic "not my problem~."
Pure bullshit.
"......Urk."
As I hemmed and hawed in front of her, Stella sneered in annoyance and chewed me out.
"Ugh, seriously... Just be grateful and serve me properly!"
She threw a tantrum, eyes flashing—then a voice came from outside the door.
"Sister Stella?"
Heavy footsteps followed, and in walked a woman with beige hair. None other than Olivia.
"Ugh... Abbess..."
Stella let out a tiny whine.
"I heard a loud voice... Is there a problem?"
"Nothing at all. I just ran into a kid who used to be my servant by chance."
Under Olivia's steady gaze, Stella dropped the cynicism and gave a half-hearted reply.
"Hmmm..."
Olivia glanced at me, noted my tense expression, then turned back to Stella.
"Raoul here is a free man now, no longer bound by his past work. And in this holy parish, watched over by the goddesses themselves, there won't be any discrimination, will there, Sister Stella?"
Olivia, you're sharp. The goddesses are watching, after all.
"Oh, come on... No need to worry. Even I follow the rules diligently here, Abbess."
"Following the rules... Speaking of which, it's time for your assigned duties. Why are you still in your quarters, Sister?"
"Well, I woke up this morning feeling dizzy... So I was resting here. I even told a few senior sisters."
"Hmmm..."
Her spoiled upbringing showed—no matter how much they'd tamed her personality, her antics were still infuriatingly cheeky. Olivia and Stella looked just like a patient teacher dealing with a slacker delinquent trying to weasel out.
Poor, saintly Olivia couldn't press further as Stella rattled off excuses with glib ease.
"Sigh..."
She let out a faint, inaudible sigh and steadied her breath. Clearly not a one- or two-day issue.
"Then you'd best rest quietly in your room. I need to speak with Raoul privately, so could you close the door on your way out?"
"Yeees, Abbess."
Stella replied with one last smarmy drawl before shutting the door behind her.
But seriously, is it okay for a baron's daughter to act like that? Even in this secluded place with little political maneuvering, shouldn't the abbess position go to a high-ranking priest or paladin? No long-term benefits here at all... Ah, she's just a spoiled brat.
Olivia turned to me for a private word.
"Is what Sister Stella said true?"
"Yes..."
I replied in a slightly deflated tone.
"...If anything troubles you, tell me anytime. We can switch your room, or you can stay at my place. All right?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'll let you know if I need to talk. But what brings you back?"
"Oh, I came to give you this. It's the nunnery rules—I've edited parts to suit you, so take a look."
She handed me a slim booklet. Tierin Nunnery rules... I skimmed the pages.
Nothing special—just a bunch of boring rules and guidelines. Not crucial, but could be fun to exploit later. I'll remember that.
I bowed gratefully to Olivia and chatted lightly with her for a bit.
…………………
…………………
"Isn't it about dinnertime?"
As the sun dipped low, painting the sky red with sunset, I was still lounging alone on the bed, waiting.
Stella in the next room over was dead silent—no sounds at all, like a mouse.
Should I peek with a crystal orb? Nah... Probably just bored, reading scripture or something. No friends around, so she's likely slumped in apathy. Whatever mess she got into outside, serves her right.
But doing nothing's making me sleepy. When's Olivia coming...?
As I blinked drowsily and turned toward the window, a small head floated there outside.
"Gah!"
"Ah!"
I jolted upright with a short yelp, shock wiping away my fatigue. A girl had been silently staring at my idling self—who knows for how long.
I focused on her head poking through the window. Brown hair fell neatly to her shoulders, topped by a nun's veil. The red backlight from the sunset shadowed her face slightly, but it couldn't hide her cute, pixie-like features. She looked about Eli's age, with just a hint of baby fat on her cheeks that made her adorable.
Before I could speak, the nun bowed her head.
"I'm sorry, faithful one. I didn't mean to startle you—I just kept watching without realizing..."
"N-no, it's fine. What brings you here?"
"Um, well... The abbess sent me to welcome our new member. Faithful one, if it's all right... would you join me for dinner?"
"Dinner..."
The nun, her head bobbing at the window, blushed faintly as she spoke.
I was supposed to go with Olivia, but it seemed she'd changed plans to pair me with girls my age for quick adjustment.
And did she just stutter hard on that last bit? Whatever... She doesn't seem much older, but the polite speech feels oddly formal. The rules said to use honorifics in public but casual privately—we'd loosen up later.
A quick chat revealed her name: Irina. A cute name fitting her charming face.
"But..."
"Yes?"
Irina, who'd been gazing at me with wide, sparkling eyes, tilted her head.
"R-Raoul, faithful one... you have such a pretty face."
"...Pretty?"
She was embarrassed herself, yet blurting it out so boldly. And even with this body, I'm a guy—being called pretty rubs me the wrong way.
'The lower half's plenty manly, Sister.' I swallowed the cheeky retort and asked something on my mind.
"By the way, Irina Sister... do you know Sister Stella?"
"Ah, that noble lady... Yes, I do. She's not feeling well, so she can't really see anyone..."
"I see. Then for dinner..."
According to Irina, Stella rarely showed at the dining hall, mostly eating what the sisters brought her.
She's really living like a slob. No need to drag her along, then.
"Is it okay to go like this?"
"Yes, just as you are."
Irina smiled sweetly and trotted to the door, waiting for me to come out.
Her soft voice, impeccable manners... A girl not much different in height acting so prim created an endearing gap. I decided to head to the dining hall with Irina.
