Threesome with Childhood Friends
One afternoon, as the air of summer vacation grew thick and heavy, a peculiar tension filled the room. Beneath the sunset light spilling across the desk, Gayoung and Minji sat facing each other.
They had been childhood friends for as long as they could remember, always tumbling around together as a trio. They had roamed the neighborhood alleys, gone to after-school classes side by side, and shared every last secret — the three of them, inseparable. But after they entered high school, a subtle fracture opened in Gayoung and Minji's world, and at the same time, an entirely new universe began to unfold.
Even the brush of fingertips made their hearts pound. In the way they looked at each other, something hotter than mere friendship had begun to bloom. To everyone else they were just close best friends, but as they naturally awakened to their own sexuality, they came to realize they were everything to each other. In the end, it was Minji who found the courage to confess, and the two of them became lovers. They had to hide it completely, terrified of the world's eyes — but the embraces and kisses they shared when they were alone were sweeter than anything.
The problem was Minseok.
"This stays a complete secret from Minseok. You know that, right?"
"Of course. If Minseok found out... our friendship would fall apart, and he'd be completely devastated."
Minseok was still the same as he'd always been. As if frozen in the days when the three of them hung out together, he treated Gayoung and Minji as his most precious friends in the world. That pure friendship was so dear to them that they had to swallow their guilt and anxiety and keep the truth buried. They were afraid of drifting apart from him, and at the same time, the thought of him discovering these feelings was something they could not even imagine.
That day, they had planned to gather in Gayoung's room for Minseok's surprise birthday party.
Minseok arrived a little earlier than planned. Excited at the thought of a birthday party with his friends, he punched in the familiar passcode to Gayoung's house and stepped inside. Finding the living room quiet, he headed naturally toward Gayoung's room, about to knock.
"Hey, I'm here—"
The hand reaching for the doorknob froze. The door was slightly ajar. The scene spilling through that gap stopped Minseok's breath cold.
Minji had her arms wrapped around Gayoung's waist as Gayoung leaned against the desk, and their lips were locked in a deep kiss. It was a lovers' kiss, utterly natural and burning hot — filled with all the anxiety and longing of the time they had spent hiding, and with an affection for each other they could no longer contain.
Minseok's mind went completely blank.
Thump. Thump.
His heart hammered wildly, but his body had gone rigid as plaster. The bag in his hand slipped and hit the floor.
Clunk.
With that small sound, the air in the room froze solid.
Gayoung and Minji startled apart and looked toward the door. There stood Minseok, staring at them with a face as if his soul had left his body. In the red sunset light filling the room — a room scattered with party supplies meant to celebrate his birthday — the three of them locked eyes, and the silence between them sank heavy.
The silence that filled the room was so heavy, so suffocating, that even a falling pin would have been deafening.
Minseok didn't even think to pick up the bag on the floor. His trembling eyes went from one of them to the other. Dozens of thoughts and memories tangled in his head, but only a single sentence made it out of his mouth.
"How long... has this been going on?"
Minseok's voice was shaking. It wasn't so much betrayal on his face as a vast, stunned confusion. For more than ten years he had never once doubted their relationship, and the fact that it existed on a completely different plane from the one he knew left him dazed.
Gayoung's face had gone deathly pale, her lips trembling. She had never seen that expression on Minseok before. More than if he had gotten angry or shouted, the sight of him looking as if everything had collapsed made her heart sink.
Minji was the first to let out a shaky breath. She gripped Gayoung's hand tight. She had the instinct that they could no longer hide this — and that they shouldn't.
"Minseok..."
Minji opened her mouth carefully. Her voice trembled faintly, but her eyes were full of sincerity as they met his.
"I think it started... in high school. That's when we realized the feelings were a little different from everyone else's. We were too precious to each other to just be friends. Our hearts kept getting pulled, and it hurt."
Minseok swallowed hard, staring at Minji.
"So... when did you start dating?"
Gayoung looked at him with wet eyes and picked up where Minji had left off.
"We only started dating for real after we became adults... It hasn't been long at all, Minseok. We weren't trying to hide it from you. We never meant to deceive you..."
Gayoung's voice caught and trembled.
"It was because you were too precious to us. We were afraid you'd think we were weird if we became like this — afraid that all the precious time the three of us had shared would fall apart. We were so scared we couldn't bring ourselves to tell you. We were waiting for a better moment, but we never thought you'd find out like this. I'm so sorry, Minseok."
The tears gathering at the corners of their eyes, and the genuine fear behind them, reached Minseok in full.
He slowly lowered his gaze. The chaos churning through his head began to settle, and he started to faintly grasp how much those two must have been suffering in silence. Caught between a friendship of more than ten years and the deep feelings that had grown beneath it, he let out a long, complicated breath.
"Hey, still — we were supposed to have a birthday party. What even is this?"
"We're sorry... Minseok..."
Minseok wanted to tell them they didn't have to be sorry anymore — that he wanted to support them as they lived out their love. But it never occurred to him that that pure encouragement would lead somewhere entirely different.
"Hey, forget it. I don't think you guys are weird. My birthday wish is that you two get to be all over each other right in front of me — no holding back, no worrying about me watching."
He'd thrown it out as a joke, trying to lighten the mood — but Minji and Gayoung suddenly grew serious, and without warning they picked up the kiss they'd left unfinished. As the heat of their mouths filled the room, Minseok's lower body swelled against his will.
Wait — I was just saying that, and they're actually doing it...? That's not a kiss. That's full-on making out...!
Minseok's face burned. Down below, he was already hard and throbbing. At his birthday wish, the two women indulged in each other without restraint.
The instant Gayoung's lips met Minji's, the air in the room ignited. The fact that Minseok was watching with his eyes wide open no longer put any brakes on them. If anything, as if to prove their love without shame, Gayoung poured even deeper warmth into every touch she laid on Minji.
"Mm..."
A tender little breath slipped from between Minji's lips. The initial fluster was gone; she was melting naturally into the gentle rhythm Gayoung set. Gayoung's hand slid slowly down from Minji's cheek and cupped the nape of her neck. Every time her thumb traced the delicate curve of Minji's ear and the line of her jaw, Minji shivered as if ticklish and clutched at Gayoung's clothes.
The angle of their mouths deepened, and the wet sound of saliva mixing filled the quiet room. Gayoung nipped lightly at Minji's lower lip, then released it — a practiced, knowing motion — and Minji's eyes drifted shut. Their breath tangled together, and each other's body heat came through their clothes as if there were nothing in the way. Gayoung's other hand found Minji's waist and pulled her in tight. Their full, rounded bodies pressed together with no gap left between them, and the sight of those curves locked so perfectly close sent a strange tension through the air.
Watching them, Minseok finally couldn't take it. He scrubbed both hands over his face.
"Aah, come on! The birthday boy is right here and you two aren't even paying attention — you're just enjoying yourselves!"
Minseok shouted, worked up, but neither of them paid him any mind.
Gayoung pulled her lips away just enough to catch a ragged breath, then let out a small laugh. Looking up at Minji with wet, glistening eyes, her gaze held both mischief and a thick, lingering affection. Minji, her face flushed, bumped her forehead lightly against Gayoung's and whispered.
"...Minseok is watching."
"Let him watch. It was his birthday wish..."
Gayoung laughed low and pressed her lips to the bridge of Minji's nose like a little stamp. Then she snapped her head toward Minseok and said, perfectly at ease:

They didn't even have time to catch their breath before the next touch followed. Gayoung caught Minji's lower lip between her teeth and tugged, then slipped her tongue in gently and began to explore the inside of her mouth.
"Hah...! Nngh..."
Minji's eyes went wide, then drifted shut, pleasure and shame mixing together. Gayoung's tongue wound through every corner of Minji's mouth as if savoring her. Saliva mixed, and a sticky, lewd sound rang out nakedly through the close air of the room.
