New life
As consciousness slowly seeped back into my senses, a guttural moan escaped my lips.
“ Aaaaaaaaaah…”
My eyelids fluttered open, and a wave of disorientation washed over me.
For several seconds, all I could see was a hazy blur of green and blue. Sunlight filtered through the canopy overhead, its golden rays dancing between the leaves and casting shifting patterns across the ground. My vision swam, and the towering shapes above me seemed to sway as though the entire world were rocking back and forth.
“Fuck…” I muttered.
My voice was hoarse, barely more than a whisper, and the word felt strangely foreign on my tongue. My throat was dry, my head throbbed, and a dull ache lingered throughout my body.
What the hell had happened?
Then, like a dam suddenly breaking, my memories came rushing back.
Paul.
The gunshots.
The searing pain as bullets tore through my flesh.
I remembered the horrifying sensation of being shot, the agony that had consumed me, and the sickening certainty that I was going to die.
My breathing grew ragged.
Instinctively, my hands flew across my body, desperately searching for the wounds. My trembling fingers swept over my chest and abdomen, expecting to find torn flesh, dried blood, or at least some evidence of the injuries that should have killed me.
But there was nothing.
No wounds.
No blood.
Not even a scar.
My skin was completely unmarked, smooth and whole, as though the bullets had never pierced my body in the first place.
“What the fuck…?”
I stared at my hands, turning them over as if the answer might somehow be written on my palms.
Then I noticed something else.
I was naked.
Completely fucking naked.
A cold shiver crept down my spine despite the warmth of the sunlight washing over my skin. I instinctively crossed my arms over my chest, suddenly aware of just how exposed I was.
“I’m… still alive?”
The question slipped from my lips, uncertain and disbelieving.
I looked around, desperately searching for something familiar—anything that might convince me this was all some elaborate nightmare.
Instead, I found myself surrounded by an endless sea of green.
A dense jungle stretched in every direction, its towering trees rising like ancient pillars toward the sky. Thick vines dangled from their branches, while broad leaves overlapped one another to form patches of shade beneath the canopy. Ferns and tangled undergrowth crowded the forest floor, their glossy surfaces sparkling with tiny droplets of moisture.
The air was heavy with the earthy scent of damp soil, moss, and unfamiliar vegetation. Somewhere nearby, water trickled over rocks, its gentle murmur blending with the distant calls of birds.
A brightly colored bird suddenly burst from the branches above me, its wings beating frantically as it disappeared into the canopy.
I followed it with my eyes.
Above the treetops, the sky was an uninterrupted expanse of brilliant blue. Sunlight poured through the gaps in the foliage, illuminating drifting motes of dust and pollen.
It was beautiful.
Almost unnaturally so.
There were no buildings, no roads, no power lines, and no distant sounds of traffic. Nothing that suggested human civilization had ever existed here.
It was as though someone had plucked me out of my old life and dropped me into a world untouched by humanity.
“Or is this… hell?”
The words escaped me before I could stop them.
A chill crept down my spine.
If this was hell, then why did it look so peaceful?
The jungle continued to hum with life around me. Birds chirped from hidden branches, insects buzzed somewhere in the undergrowth, and leaves rustled softly in the breeze.
Yet, despite all those sounds, I felt utterly alone.
There was no human voice to answer me. No distant footsteps. No sign that anyone—or anything—was aware of my existence.
I swallowed hard and slowly pushed myself upright.
My muscles protested, but surprisingly, I felt no serious pain. I glanced down at my body again, still struggling to comprehend how I could have survived being shot without a single injury.
The ground beneath me was covered in thick grass and scattered leaves. When I shifted my weight, the damp earth yielded slightly beneath my bare feet.
The grass was cool and wet against my soles, while the sunlight warming my shoulders offered a strange, almost comforting contrast.
For a moment, I simply stood there, surrounded by towering trees and unfamiliar sounds, trying to convince myself that I hadn't completely lost my mind.
Then reality caught up with me.
I was naked.
I had no weapon.
No money.
And, most importantly, no fucking phone.
“Help!”
The word tore out of my throat.
“Is anyone—there?!”
My voice echoed through the trees, startling a flock of birds into flight. Their wings rustled overhead, but no human voice answered me.
I waited.
One second.
Two.
Five.
Nothing.
Not even a distant shout.
The jungle swallowed my cries as though they had never existed.
“Motherfucker…” I muttered, dragging a hand through my hair. “I don't even have my cellphone. And where the fuck am I?”
Frustration twisted in my gut, mingling with the growing panic clawing at my chest.
I was lost, naked, and alone in the middle of some godforsaken jungle.
And I had absolutely no idea how I had gotten here.
Just as I opened my mouth to scream again, something strange happened.
A voice sounded inside my head.
[ Transmigration Successful ]
I froze.
The voice was neither male nor female. It was mechanical, flat, and utterly devoid of emotion, like an automated announcement playing through an invisible speaker.
Except there was no speaker.
The sound had come directly from inside my mind.
“What the…?”
I spun around, searching the surrounding trees.
Nobody.
Only the dense vegetation, the sunlight filtering through the canopy, and the occasional movement of branches in the breeze.
Then another message appeared.
[ Found.... The pervy Host ]
I stared blankly into the forest.
The pervy host?
What the fuck was that supposed to mean?
Before I could make sense of it, the mechanical voice spoke again.
[ Loading System..... Successful ]
A faint electronic chime rang inside my head.
Then—
A translucent panel materialized directly in front of my eyes.
I stumbled backward.
“Holy shit!”
The rectangular interface hovered in midair, roughly at eye level. Its edges shimmered with a pale blue light, while thin lines of glowing text appeared against its transparent surface.
I waved a trembling hand through it.
My fingers passed straight through.
There was no glass, no solid surface, and no visible device projecting the image. The panel simply floated there, defying every law of physics I knew.
My stomach twisted.
“No fucking way…”
I blinked several times.
The panel remained.
I turned my head to the left.
It moved with my vision.
I looked to the right.
Still there.
“Am I hallucinating?”
Another electronic chime sounded.
More text appeared on the screen.

[ Pervert Pleasure System ]
Name: Alex
Age: 20
Skills: None
Abilities: None
Pervery Points: None
System Storage: [Gift Pack × 5]
SUPER-MARKET STORE — Anything the host wishes to buy is available in the store, from food and clothing to skills, abilities, and anything else, in exchange for the corresponding number of Pervery Points.
I stared at the panel.
Then I stared at it some more.
“Pervert Pleasure System…?”
I read the name aloud, hoping that hearing it in my own voice would somehow make it less ridiculous.
It didn't.
If anything, it made the whole situation feel even more absurd.
I was standing naked in an unfamiliar jungle, apparently resurrected after being shot, while a mysterious holographic interface informed me that I was its perverted host.
What the actual fuck was going on?
My legs suddenly felt weak.
I backed toward the nearest tree and lowered myself onto a thick root, pressing my shoulder against its rough bark. The coarse surface scratched lightly against my skin, grounding me in a reality that seemed to grow more unbelievable by the second.
The holographic panel continued hovering before me, its pale blue glow standing out against the lush greenery.
My eyes drifted toward the words SUPER-MARKET STORE.
According to the description, this mysterious store could provide anything I wanted—food, clothing, skills, abilities, and apparently whatever else the system had to offer.
All I needed were Pervery Points.
Whatever the hell those were.
The concept sounded like something ripped straight out of an over-the-top web novel. I'd encountered plenty of ridiculous systems and transmigration stories in fiction, but I'd never seriously imagined experiencing one myself.
Yet here I was.
Living through something that shouldn't have been possible.
“What the fuck is this… transmigration?”
The word felt strange as I spoke it.
Transmigration.
A person dying in one world and finding themselves in another. Sometimes they took over someone else's body; sometimes they were reborn entirely. There were countless variations in fiction, but the basic idea was always the same.
A second life in a different world.
Was that what had happened to me?
Had I actually died?
And if I had, why was I still myself?
I pressed my palms against my face, trying to organize my thoughts.
“Is this real…? Am I actually dead? Or is this just some fucked-up dream?”
The questions raced through my mind, each one leading to another without bringing me any closer to an answer.
I needed proof.
Something tangible.
Something that could tell me whether I was still trapped inside my own imagination.
After a moment's hesitation, I raised my hand and slapped myself across the cheek.
SMACK!
“Ow!”
Pain bloomed across my face, sharp and immediate. I sucked in a breath and rubbed the spot, glaring at absolutely nothing.
“Fuck! That hurt!”
I waited for the world to dissolve around me.
It didn't.
The trees remained where they were. The birds continued singing. The damp grass still brushed against my bare feet, and the holographic interface continued floating in front of me as if none of this were unusual.
My cheek stung.
The pain was real.
The world was real.
Or at least, it felt real enough.
“Not a dream…”
I lowered my hand slowly.
For a brief moment, I sat there in silence, listening to the rustling leaves and the distant calls of birds.
Then something inside me snapped.
“No!”
I shot to my feet, anger surging through me so suddenly that it nearly eclipsed my fear.
“Send me back!”
My voice rang through the jungle.
“Do you hear me?! Send me the fuck back!”
I clenched my fists, staring at the glowing panel as though it were personally responsible for everything that had happened to me.
“You dragged me here, didn't you?! You fucking brought me to this place! So send me back!”
The system offered no response.
Not a beep.
Not a notification.
Nothing.
“Motherfucker!”
I kicked at the grass, sending droplets of water scattering through the air.
“Send me back! I don't want this! I don't want some stupid second life in the middle of nowhere!”
My voice cracked, the last words dissolving into the surrounding silence.
I stood there panting, my chest rising and falling as I glared at the interface.
For several seconds, I waited for an answer.
Some explanation.
Some indication that whatever had brought me here was capable of hearing me.
But the panel remained unchanged.
The jungle remained indifferent.
And I remained alone.
“Fuck…”
The anger drained out of me as quickly as it had come, leaving behind an uncomfortable emptiness.
I dragged both hands through my hair and looked up at the sky.
The sunlight was beautiful. The breeze was gentle. Birds fluttered between the branches, and somewhere in the distance, water continued flowing over stone.
It should have been peaceful.
Instead, every detail reminded me of how completely I had lost control of my life.
Only moments ago—or what felt like moments ago—I had been in a world I understood. I had known where I was, who I was, and what I was supposed to do.
Now, I couldn't even tell whether I was on the same planet.
Is this really another world?
I looked down at my hands again.
They were mine. I recognized every finger, every small detail of my skin. There was no unfamiliar reflection staring back at me, no obvious indication that I had taken over another person's body.
I was still Alex.
Twenty years old.
Apparently dead once already.
And now the owner of a system that called me a pervert.
My gaze drifted back to the title hovering at the top of the interface.
Pervert Pleasure System.
I couldn't deny that the name stirred a faint, uncomfortable sense of recognition.
It wasn't that I understood how the system worked. I didn't. I had no idea what Pervery Points were, how the store operated, or why something like this had chosen me.
But the word pervert wasn't entirely unfamiliar when it came to my own personality.
I had my private thoughts, my fantasies, and my less-than-innocent interests. Things I rarely discussed openly, even with people I considered close.
Perhaps the system had somehow recognized that part of me.
Or perhaps it was nothing more than a cruel joke played by whatever force had dragged me into this world.
I couldn't tell.
For now, all I had were questions—and a strange interface promising answers I wasn't sure I wanted.
I let out a long, exhausted breath and leaned back against the tree.
“Fine,” I muttered, glaring at the floating panel. “If you're not going to send me back, then at least tell me what the fuck I'm supposed to do now.”
The system remained silent.
I closed my eyes briefly, trying to steady my breathing.
When I opened them again, the interface was still there, glowing faintly in the dappled sunlight.
Five gift packs waited in the system storage.
A store promised to sell me almost anything I could imagine.
And somewhere beyond the trees lay an unfamiliar world whose rules I didn't understand.
I had no idea whether this system was my salvation or the beginning of an even bigger nightmare.
But one thing was certain.
If I wanted to survive, I would have to figure out how it worked.
And I had a feeling that this so-called Pervert Pleasure System was about to turn my life into something far stranger than anything I'd ever read in a novel.
