The Transparent Hunter's Explosive Debut
"...So this Rank 0 'Transparent Hunter' is."
The man browsing the news online closed the window and stood up.
"That kid?"
His face somehow looked bewildered.
Seoya had just arrived at the Neverending Guild building.
It was late, so the building was empty, but on the 5th floor—reserved for high-rank hunters—one man was still holding down the fort.
Soft brown hair giving a gentle vibe, droopy eye corners for a mild impression contrasting his tall stature and sturdy build, plus heavy dark circles under his eyes.
The man glanced back and forth between Lee Gayeon and Baek Yena standing behind Seoya, then asked again.
"So that kid came from another world? Killed all the monsters without lifting a finger? No mental strain at all? You called them the 'Transparent Hunter' to the press to hide their identity? And now we're in charge of them?"
"Yeah, you got it."
Lee Gayeon nodded as if it were obvious.
The man's pupils shook wildly, but he soon accepted it, extending a hand to Seoya.
"...Got it. Nice to meet you, Seoya. I'm Neverending Guild's vice master, Park Haejun."
Seoya shook his firm hand in a daze. The thick calluses suggested he wasn't just a desk jockey.
"Hard to believe, but if I can't trust the guild master, who can I trust?"
Park Haejun's expression suggested he genuinely bought the absurd tale of Seoya hailing from another world.
'And yeah... this kid Seoya really does have a weird vibe.'
An otherworldly aura that made it harder not to believe she'd come from elsewhere.
"But... was that really the best call?"
"What?"
"Guild master, Baek Yena hunter. Was 'Transparent Hunter' really the best excuse...?"
Lee Gayeon averted her gaze. She recalled the feeling when she said it.
"That hunter was... invisible."
"Eh, what's the big deal? People drop from other worlds, might as well throw in some invisibility BS."
Baek Yena brushed back her hair with a casual shrug.
No one knew what algorithm her brain used to spit out "Transparent Hunter," but now it was prime teasing material among top hunters.
