Let Me Wash It For You
After starting the mock exam for the second test, lessons with Yoo Ara shifted from mana rotation massages to outdoor running drills. The practice spot was in front of her house, at the playground—the same place where she'd wet herself before.
"Again."
I pulled Yoo Ara to her feet, her body a mess of dirt and grime.
"Ughhh…."
"A real villain doesn't stop here. They'd keep stabbing to kill you, or use their weapon to toy with you if that's their game. So you need to get back into stance as fast as possible."
"O-okay, got it."
Dressed in her gym clothes, she dove to the ground and threw herself to block my attacks. Sweat and dust covered her from head to toe.
"Like I said last time, even in simulations, villains have erratic movements. They're modeled after real ones, so they're tough opponents. If you don't pick up speed, you won't pass."
"I know."
Of course, surviving 30 minutes in the second test would land her in the top 20% easy. It was relative scoring from the start. But settling for top 20% wasn't an option. The second test combined Classes A through D. Even if she didn't take first, she needed to stand out.
"Here we go."
"Yes!"
I moved in. This time, the villain I'd portray was Mori Takashi, caught in Cheongju four years ago. A ruthless bastard who'd slit the throats of five B-rank hunters with his twin daggers. Chains on the daggers made him deadly at mid-range too.
Whoosh!
The model dagger aimed for Yoo Ara's throat.
"Hyaat!"
She threw herself aside.
"Too slow."
Before she hit the ground, I closed in and swung my foot at her midsection.
Bam!
"Kuh!"
Yoo Ara yanked out telekinesis with her hand, blocking my kick. I twisted my rebounding body and struck again with the dagger. She parried with her wooden sword.
"Hooh?"
Normally, she'd have taken the hit and been done. But she blocked it. Real progress in three weeks. She couldn't even react to the first strike before.
I wrapped the chain-linked dagger around her shoulder, yanking her toward me.
"Ack!"
She lost balance and tumbled into me. Catching her fall, I pressed the model dagger to her throat.
"You're out."
"……."
She fit perfectly in my arms, hand on my chest, not moving an inch. Her face buried against me, sniffing away.
"Still, you've improved a lot."
"Y-yeah… Thank you."
Yoo Ara finally snapped out of it and pulled away.
This had been happening lately. She kept trying to cling to me. Probably from her skyrocketing favorability.
Conquest progress hadn't budged from 81%. Probably because I'd been focusing more on lessons.
'If she nails this test, maybe it'll hit 100.'
I could feel her affection. But I couldn't respond right now. Simple reason: the test mattered more. I was channeling her desire to impress me into lesson focus.
"That's it for today."
"Got it."
I eyed Yoo Ara, soaked in sweat. Her thin gym clothes made her sky-blue bra visible. She hadn't noticed, grinning at me innocently. Good thing no one else came to the apartment playground.
I shrugged off my sleeveless zip-up gym top and draped it over her shoulders.
"Put this on."
"H-huh?"
"Everything's showing."
"Oh…."
Her face flushed red. No progress bump. Guess it wasn't enough for that anymore.
I glanced toward the presence my senses picked up. That gaze from before. Not every time, but once a week. It was here today too. Some woman spying on our lessons.
'Lee Hye-ri.'
I'd figured out it was Lee Hye-ri recently. My senses back to 80% of peak from personal training, I pinned her down for sure. Curious enough to peek through windows indoors, or hide in those bushes when we trained outside.
She came so often, I asked Yoo Ara.
'Lee Hye-ri—what's her deal?'
'No idea. Kinda weird girl.'
'She ever ask about our lessons?'
'H-her? No way!'
Her flustered dodge screamed she'd talked once. But from her reaction, Yoo Ara hadn't spilled.
'Surprisingly possessive.'
Probably tailing us to spy on my methods. She seemed interested in my tutoring. But why? Even switching to tank, she was still top of the year.
I wouldn't approach first. Teacher's the boss, student's the sub. Keeps them from climbing over you mid-lesson. No academy rules here, so I needed charisma. Wait for her to come to me. That's why I ignored her presence.
"T-teacher."
"Yeah?"
"Um… Go wash up before you leave. You sweated too."
She mumbled, nose buried in the gym clothes I'd given her.
"Wash up?"
"Yeah."
"Alright."
I'd sweated less than her, but enough teaching her. Heading home like this felt off.
"You sure it's okay?"
"Y-yeah, fine. Hehe."
"Got it."
I followed Yoo Ara into her house. Sorry, but I'll impose a bit.
Thump-thump-thump!!!
'What did I do? I told him to wash up!!!'
Yoo Ara clutched Kim Siu's gym clothes over her shoulders, freaking out.
First time in three weeks of outdoor lessons. Atmosphere never allowed it before. He never broke a sweat.
But today was different. Final prep for the second test in three days—they trained three extra hours. Both drenched more than usual. Her bra even showed.
'Teacher's scent….'
She buried her face in the clothes, spotting his underwear inside.
'No, not that far… But maybe just a little?'
Her two selves battled: one okay with a sniff, the other not. Mid-tug-of-war—
"Ara, thanks."
The shower door opened. Kim Siu emerged in fresh underwear and pants.
She inwardly sighed, missing the chance to sniff.
"T-teacher… Your shirt…."
"Oh, sorry. Habit from home—not wearing one out."
He hurried into the shirt he'd prepped.
'Those muscles….'
His lean, sculpted build made her swallow hard. Classic hunter physique—clothes hugging naturally.
Nowhere to look, she covered her face. Peeking through fingers anyway.
"Ara, why're you still in my gym clothes after showering?"
"Oh, just… haha!"
"Gonna stink. Hand 'em over. I'll…."
"N-no! Teacher! I-I'll wash 'em and give back! Can't just take help and not do this—I'm a bad girl otherwise! Ha, haha!"
Truth: she'd hoped he forgot a change. Him emerging in a towel, her offering to wash while sweaty—mood set.
But no! This oblivious tutor packed everything, even undies. He'd take them and go. Her hard-built plan: bubbles.
First time like this. Never had a rational guy relationship. Solo years equaled her age.
Vague boyfriend dreams, sure. But chasing first? No clue.
Yet here, slamming brakes at the goal!
'Does he hate me?'
Nah. Confident in chest, face, figure. Hunter skills lacking, but feminine charm? Solid.
'Not his type?'
Ugh, who knows. Unrequited one-way street. Tougher than thought.
"You sure?"
Teacher asked.
"Of course! Clean for next lesson. U-um, skip the underwear."
Should've offered that too? Regret hit as he pocketed just the panties.
Yoo Ara grabbed his sweat-soaked gym top and bottoms. Head spun. His manly scent dizzied her.
"Ah, aaah…."
He won't think pervert, right? Anxiously, she loaded the washer.
But paused button, eyed him.
"Teacher."
"Yeah?"
"Before you go, ramen—no, X-Flex…."
"Ara."
"Y-yes?"
"Test in three days. No more X-Flex."
"Oh… Okay."
"After test, we'll watch."
"R-really?"
"Yeah."
"Okay."
As he slipped on shoes to leave, Yoo Ara spoke up.
"T-teacher!"
"Yeah?"
"Bet again."
"Bet?"
"Like first test. If I get first, you grant any wish."
His smile faded.
"First place—you can do it?"
"Gotta try."
He stared. His eyes felt deep, beautiful—like a starry night sky.
He nodded slowly.
"Deal. But I add a condition."
"What?"
"If you're outside top 5, recommend my lessons to others."
"……."
"You've been hiding it, right?"
His piercing gaze shut her mouth.
"Yeah…."
"Won't neglect current students if new ones come. Don't worry."
"……."
No reply. Spot on. Feared neglect if shared. Didn't want to lose him. He was her rock.
Silent, he smirked faintly, stroked her head.
"Ace the test."
Touch wasn't bad. His hand smelled of her body wash—familiar, but sexier from him.
"Yes."
She nodded, savoring.
Thud.
He left.
"Hoo…."
Needing calm, Yoo Ara pulled his clothes from the washer.
Not for me. For him—who suffered for me. Not pervert stuff. No scent fetish.
Sniff-sniff.
Denying herself, her face dipped in. Manly scent tickled pleasurably.
'Just once more….'
Sniff-sniff.
Her hand slid down.
The big day: second test.
"Let's do our best."
Yoo Ara nodded at Lee Hye-ri's words. No Jang Won-ho—their group mate. Simple: below first-test cutoff, relegated to losers' bracket.
New partner:
"Nice to meet you. Baek Han-beom."
A big guy.
