The next morning, rain was still falling steadily.
“Today is Saturday. We will only have morning classes, and afterward, you will have time to rest. Also, students who have accumulated more than 5 merit points are allowed to stay out overnight.”
Professor Deneuve said this while checking the merit board.
“Currently, the students eligible for overnight leave are Idnia, Isolde, and Karl. Would you like to apply?”
“I will.”
Karl declared immediately.
“I will not.”
Isolde refused.
More than going out, she was worried about Rudolf’s mental state.
Even if her presence didn’t help much, she couldn’t leave him alone like that.
Meanwhile, Idnia raised her hand happily.
“I will apply for overnight leave. There are things I need.”
And so, Idnia and Karl applied.
After breakfast, during maintenance time, Heukrang appeared.

Morning class was Basic Magic Theory with Professor Deneuve.
“I see many of you relying on servants for laundry. Even with maintenance time provided, this shows a lack of basic discipline as magicians.”
Some students complained.
“We’re too tired.”
“We’ve never done such menial work.”
“Don’t let Professor Sadia hear that.”
Then she demonstrated.
She filled a tub with water.
“You’ve learned heating magic. Warm water cleans better.”
She heated it.
Then grated soap into it.
“Later you won’t need soap.”
She then cast a spell.
“This is the sustained rotation spell. It creates currents in water.”
The clothes and water began swirling.
She continued writing on the board while maintaining the spell.
Students were amazed.
A student, Percifier, asked,
“What if we use it on a person?”
“Good question. It’s ineffective.”
She explained that living beings resist such magic.
She demonstrated by casting it on him. His clothes twisted, choking him slightly.
He stepped aside and it dispersed.
“See?”
Then she awarded him 1 merit point.
She drained the water using telekinesis.
Then used rotation to wring the clothes.
Then evaporated remaining moisture instantly.
Finally, she demonstrated extraction magic to remove dirt directly.
“But it’s difficult. You can ruin the fabric.”
She intentionally failed, separating dye.
“For now, focus on rotation.”
Then she opened portals to dorms.
Students retrieved laundry.
Idnia carefully heated water.
Then used rotation.
“Easy.”
She layered multiple rotation points, creating chaotic currents.
“Interesting. This could be used for machines.”
Then she tried extraction magic without a special wand.
It worked.
But she realized she was extracting sweat and grime into the air.
Embarrassed, she dumped it quickly.
Professor Deneuve noticed.
“What did you just do?”
“Extraction magic.”
“Without chanting? And inside water?”
“Yes.”
“Incredible.”
She analyzed it precisely.
“You combined contaminants with water and soap into a colloidal state. Modified extraction.”
Then she awarded Idnia 1 merit point.
Students protested.
“Why does she get points?”
“She’s clearly pre-trained!”
Professor Deneuve’s expression turned cold.
“Oh? You all know better than me?”
Silence.
“I won’t punish you. But you misunderstand.”
“Idnia did not pre-learn magic.”
Students were confused.
“She pre-learned chemistry, hydraulics, and physics.”
Idnia felt a chill.
‘Did she figure out I’m from another world?’
