After forming a relationship with Aram, Dojin went to find Eunha next and shared intimacy with her.
Eunha accepted Dojin without a fuss.
She didn't ask why he was doing it.
She just accepted him.
'Sorry about this......'
Being held in her arms, where she accepted him to an excessive degree, made him feel like he'd unwittingly start acting spoiled, like he'd be trapped in her embrace forever and never escape, so Dojin somehow managed to push her away and slip out.
Darkness 6%.
Only after having sex with her did Dojin realize that the woman he'd embraced had fallen short.
'You can't just sleep with anyone.'
Only women with at least Level 2's robust abilities could influence the seed. He sensed that fact instinctively.
He got the feeling that sleeping with a prostitute or a woman lacking ability would just produce a nobody kid.
That wasn't good. Dojin felt a slight pang of regret.
'If only Deokgu or Han-young were women......'
Their abilities weren't half bad, so he was tempted.
But that didn't mean he had any desire to stick it in a guy's ass just because their abilities tempted him.
Dojin was straight.
"Besides them, the only one who likes me right now is......"
Only one person came to mind.
Raize.
The Magic Tower's youngest elder.
'It's been a while since I last saw her.'
Thinking it was about time to visit his comrade, Dojin immediately shot up from his seat and headed to the Magic Tower.
No appointment or anything? Not needed.
But that was just Dojin's thinking.
"......Who should I call for you?"
"Raize."
"Raize...... Elder-nim?"
"Yes."
"Do you have an appointment?"
"No."
"I'm sorry, but...... Elder-nim isn't someone just anyone can meet."
He got shot down.
Dojin scratched his cheek and made another request to the receptionist.
"If you just tell her Dojin is here, she'll summon me right away."
"Dojin...... Never heard of you."
"Can't you pass it on just once?"
"I'm sorry, but Raize Elder-nim hates any interruptions to her research...... Sorry. I can book an appointment for you."
"If I book now, when could I meet her?"
"Earliest is three years from now."
"......Forget it."
As Dojin turned away without any further fuss, the receptionist inwardly sighed in relief that he wasn't a problem customer and greeted the next visitor.
Kicked out, Dojin looked up at the Magic Tower while thinking of Raize.
'Well, with Raize's personality......'
Youngest high mage. Youngest Magic Tower elder.
These weren't positions you could describe with just "genius." They were spots only a super-super-super genius could even aim for after three lifetimes.
Obviously, beings with such descriptors weren't common.
'Historically, just once, they say.'
The God of Magic. The Magic Tower's first tower master.
Only he had received that evaluation.
So Raize wasn't just the youngest elder—she was a candidate for future Demon God.
Merchants and nobles trying to curry favor with her wouldn't be few, and after dealing with all sorts of annoyances, Raize must have ordered all contact cut off.
'I should've given her a heads-up earlier.'
Still, he hadn't expected her to forget him and chase him away too.
Now, pondering how to approach Raize while slurping drinks at a cafe in front of the Magic Tower, someone approached Dojin.
"Huh? Raize's boyfriend."
Lifting his head slightly, a massive chest blocked his view—so big it hid her face from his seated position.
She seemed aware of it, bending at the waist to reveal both her cleavage and her face at once. Dojin looked at her face, trying to remember who she was.
"......Oh, right. The receptionist?"
"It's Kahu. Didn't Raize introduce me?"
"She doesn't bring up Magic Tower stuff much."
"Oh my, closer than I thought?"
Muttering that she wouldn't have bothered talking if she'd known, she straightened up. But Dojin realized she could be a connection.
"You close with Raize?"
"Close? Besties! We share everything down to our eggs!"
"......Share eggs?"
"Oh, wrong usage? Guys go 'ball bros, ball bros' all the time, so I tried it."
"That's not how it's used."
Fortunately, she seemed pretty tight with Raize. Good. Thinking that, Dojin offered her a seat.
"It's fate we met, so let me buy you a drink."
"Oh my, hitting on me right now? Seducing your girlfriend's friend? Eek! Crazy! I totally love this stuff!"
Kahu shrieked like that and plopped right into the seat across from him. Mulkyeong—watching her huge breasts squish against the table, Dojin raised a hand to call the waiter.
"What'll you have?"
"Hmm, Lime Lime Sparkle Soda for me."
"......Just that one."
"Got it."
Moments later, the waiter brought over a cup filled with something unclear if it was liquid or solid. Kahu took the cup, thanked Dojin, and immediately started sipping the drink.
"Mmm—still tastes awful! True to its name!"
"......You ordered it knowing it tastes bad?"
"Nope? Didn't know. Just predicted it would. And I was right."
She said that, then set aside the glass after one sip.
Clear intent not to drink more. Dumping food after one bite was bourgeois-level waste that'd make anyone frown, but neither Dojin nor Kahu cared.
Pushing the glass aside, Kahu leaned her chest against it and tilted toward Dojin.
"Wanna hear another prediction?"
"What kind?"
"Why you're hitting on me."
Dojin nodded like "go ahead." If she was the predictive type as she claimed, no need for lengthy explanations.
Hmm—letting out a groan for a bit, she soon looked at him like she'd figured it out.
"Ah! Got it! 'Cause my boobs are huge!"
"Uh...... yeah?"
"Ahaha! Raize's are small, right? I felt 'em—total kid level!"
"......Not like they were completely flat."
"—You've groped them?"
At that moment, her eyes sparkled. Grinning like she'd struck gold, she leaned in closer to Dojin.
"Does that body turn you on?"
"Pedo maybe?"
"If you've groped the chest, you must've tried insertion too? How's down there? Kid-sized too?"
Her questions poured out like machine-gun fire, leaving Dojin dazed. But he calmly answered every one without slipping.
"Raize...... is plenty attractive. Not a pedo, and I've never done it with a kid, so no clue."
"Eeeeeek! Such a guy, such a guy!"
Then, as if to ask one more, Kahu slid in another question casually.
"Raize suddenly getting stronger—that your doing too?"
"Ah, that—......No comment."
"Ah, figured."
Like throwing a jab, she disoriented him with light jokes and sexual questions, then landed the finisher—Dojin realized she wasn't ordinary either.
Well, being Raize's peer meant overflowing talent or drive and support, one or the other.
"Won't ask how you did it. But this, I gotta ask."
Deulkeok, deulkeok!
Her vibe turned serious, surrounding objects clunking from the magic power she emitted.
"Why'd you only come now?"
"......Why 'only now'?"
"You have no idea how much pain Raize is in?"
"—Raize is in pain?"
"You—."
At Dojin's calm tone, Kahu glared at him like he was her mortal enemy, incredulous.
But realizing scolding his oblivious ass was pointless, she started explaining slowly.
"......Raize was a mid-level mage. Even that was her talent and physical limit pushed to the max. Know that?"
No way he did. A modern guy dropped from an Otherworld with no magic couldn't grasp magic levels or realms.
But Kahu continued regardless of whether he got it.
"So, you 'helping' Raize by jacking her realm way up...... It's a burden on her."
"......Didn't know."
"Figures. With Raize's personality, she wouldn't say......"
"Then I'm not at fau—?"
"—You didn't even know your girlfriend's hurting! You, showing up after nearly a month? You say that!?"
No retort to that. Truth was, he'd been focused on Orion or Ga-hee more than Raize, neglecting her.
"......So that's why I'm here today."
"Finally."
"Yeah, finally."
But now that she'd said this much, he had to get her help.
"Came to see Raize, got blocked at the entrance."
"Well, she's an elder now. Thinks she'll meet just anyone?"
"You could...... call Raize out, right? You're friends."
"......Promise me one thing."
She grabbed his collar. Too weak to pull him, she got yanked instead, but their faces drew close all the same.
Leaving just enough gap for a finger, she stared at Dojin and said,
"Make Raize happy. If not, I'll kill you."
"......Don't worry."
He'd come to make her happy, after all.
"Ah, Mage Kahu. ......Who's that behind you?"
"Raize's guest."
"R-Really a guest......?"
"Didn't know? Memorize the face. Reject him next time, you might get fired."
Saying that, Kahu led Dojin inside.
Dojin shot a glance at the terrified receptionist's face—recalling his own future—and followed her.
He remembered something like the Dungeon's Elevator here before, but it must've been fully renovated recently; now just a lone Magic Circle sat there.
"Count yourself lucky you met me."
Kahu said that, inputting a specific address into the Magic Circle. A dimensional address known only to individual mages.
One Kahu had nagged out of Raize, leading straight to her room.
Paaah-!
The moment she entered the address, Dojin's vision teleported.
Moments later, Dojin arrived in front of a room.
She casually knocked on the door: knock knock.
Only after a while did a voice come from inside.
"......Come in."
Kahu pointed at the door, looking at Dojin. Then said she'd head back and hopped on the Magic Circle to leave.
Dojin didn't enter right away, just staring at the door intently. Raize probably thought it was Kahu, not him—should he barge in?
'......Raize never told me anyway.'
Seeing it as a surprise gift for the Raize who never mentioned being in pain, Dojin opened the door and went in.
Raize, staring piercingly at the Magic Circle, spoke without turning.
"If it's food, leave it... Otherwise, state your business quick......"
Dojin approached silently, slowly. Even as he got right up close, Raize didn't turn.
He slowly reached out his hand toward her.
As Dojin's arms wrapped around her, Raize felt the familiar comfort and let out a small chuckle.
"......Dojin, huh."
"Yeah."
Looking over her shoulder, her face was worn down by fatigue and illness.
