What Apology? Let's Go Kill Them All!
Mo Sui Qing glared at Yeop Hyeon with murderous intent.
Unable to contain her rage, her entire body began to tremble.
The young master standing beside her also fixed Yeop Hyeon with eyes full of fury.
As Yeop Hyeon turned to leave again, Mo Sui Qing screamed in a voice choked with anger.
"How dare you insult me!"
Yeop Hyeon halted and turned back to face her.
"Insult? Listen here, missy. I apologized twice, and you chased after me. Watch your words."
Yeop Hyeon stepped closer to Mo Sui Qing and lightly pinched her cheek.
"Mo Sui Qing, ask yourself this: besides your face and family status, what do you really have? If you didn't have that pretty face and noble background, do you think men would look up to you? You think they're hanging around because they actually like you?"
Yeop Hyeon spoke loudly enough for those behind her to hear.
"No, they're swarming because of your looks and status. Wake up! Without those, you're nothing!"
Yeop Hyeon released his pinch.
"Fine, I'll give you this much: your beauty and background do attract plenty of men. But does that mean anything? Any guy with half a brain wouldn't let you push him around! As that guard said, you're from a prestigious Jiang Kingdom family—aren't you ashamed, playing childish games with that status?"
Mo Sui Qing trembled violently at his words, her face twisted in rage.
Yeop Hyeon ignored her reaction completely.
"I'm asking nicely—stop bothering me. I don't want to kill you, and I sure as hell don't want to be chased by your clan!"
With that, Yeop Hyeon walked away without a backward glance.
Mo Sui Qing stared at his retreating figure with cold eyes.
Yeop Hyeon returned to his cabin.
He didn't particularly hate Mo Sui Qing.
He just couldn't stand women who acted so arrogantly based solely on their looks and background.
Shaking off thoughts of her, Yeop Hyeon entered the Gyeok Ok Tower.
"Heavenly Maiden?"
He called out, scanning the surroundings, but the tower remained silent—no response from the Heavenly Maiden.
A twinge of fear crept into Yeop Hyeon.
Without her, he wasn't sure what he should do on his own.
At that moment, another sheet of paper floated down from the second-floor entrance.
Yeop Hyeon's eyes widened.
This time, it bore a serene, emotionless face—neither joy nor sorrow.
And, as always, claw marks marred the side.
Yeop Hyeon glanced around warily before hurrying out of the tower.
What the hell is on the second floor!?
His curiosity was killing him.
But whatever it was, his current strength clearly couldn't handle it.
I need to find the Dochik!
Yeop Hyeon steeled his resolve and threw himself into frenzied training.
He had reached the Control Qi Realm, but he hadn't fully mastered it yet.
Especially his control over sword qi and sword webs—he was still sorely lacking. With the Heavenly Maiden gone, he had to figure it out on his own.
Deploying One Sword Determines Life and Death no longer felt as difficult as before.
Its power had doubled.
If he wanted, he could take down a Soaring Realm expert with it.
Right now, One Sword Determines Life and Death was his strongest killing move and trump card.
After sword practice, Yeop Hyeon inspected his fists as well.
He didn't want to neglect either.
Just like that, two days flew by, and the cloud ship began its descent.
Yangjie City!
Yeop Hyeon left his cabin and climbed to the deck. As he leaned over the railing, the city came into view.
But the city walls, which had been empty before, now bristled with soldiers.
Inside, thousands of troops drilled in perfect formation, their eyes gleaming with killing intent—clearly elite soldiers.
The ship soon landed in the city, and Yeop Hyeon disembarked.
Right then, someone blocked his path.
Mo Sui Qing again.
As Yeop Hyeon raised an eyebrow to snap at her, she spat out a single line.
"Remember me!"
She vanished, leaving Yeop Hyeon baffled.
"What the hell was that?"
He shook his head and pulled a map from his bosom.
This was the map Ji Yuan Zhang had given him just before they parted. It marked the location of the Cangjie Sword Lord's cave mansion.
Confirming his destination, Yeop Hyeon left Yangjie City and headed toward the mountain range to the right.
Soon, he entered a massive mountain. Following the map, after about two hours of walking, he noticed the air growing hotter.
Another hour in, he reached a spot where three enormous peaks faced each other, enclosing a vast canyon.
We're here!
As Yeop Hyeon quickened his pace, an invisible force blocked his path.
His face paled as he scanned around, but nothing was visible.
"Prove your qualification!"
A voice shouted at him.
Yeop Hyeon swiftly pulled out An Ranxiu's jade plaque, and the barrier vanished instantly.
He stepped into the canyon.
Just as he entered, the Spirit Water Sword in his body stirred wildly, trying to burst free.
Panicking, Yeop Hyeon barely suppressed it.
What's going on?
He was utterly confused by this unprecedented reaction.
"You've come!"
Turning toward the voice, he saw a woman standing there.
Silver skirt, golden curved blade!
It was Gang Gu.
Yeop Hyeon looked at her puzzled.
"Did you know I was coming?"
Gang Gu nodded.
"Follow me!"
As Yeop Hyeon trailed behind her, he couldn't hold back.
"You knew I was coming?"
"Forgot whose friend I am?"
An Ranxiu!
Now it made sense—she must have tipped Gang Gu off.
Moments later, they reached a clearing in a dense forest.
Gang Gu sat down and gestured for Yeop Hyeon to do the same.
As he settled, she picked up a twig and drew a circle in the dirt.
"This cave mansion was left by the Cangjie Sword Lord. No need to explain who he was—just know he was the greatest figure in all of the Qingcang Realm.
Though this holds relics from his early days, not his peak, it's still immensely valuable.
That's why imperial families and major sects from various kingdoms got involved in exploring it."
She paused, looking at Yeop Hyeon before continuing.
"No one could claim the mansion outright, so to avoid pointless slaughter, the factions set a rule: only young warriors from each group can enter.
As a result, not just Jiang Kingdom folk, but geniuses from other nations and top disciples from sects all flock here seeking opportunities."
Yeop Hyeon asked,
"Changmok Academy students too?"
"Yes. Though we don't know who's coming this time."
Yeop Hyeon nodded. Whoever it was, they'd cross paths eventually.
Gang Gu read his thoughts instantly.
"Remember why you're here: for opportunities, not killing."
"Haha, unless they pick a fight, I won't strike first. But you know the bad blood between Canglan Academy and Changmok Academy, right?"
"True. We'll talk about that later."
Suddenly, something occurred to Gang Gu.
"If memory serves, you're a sword cultivator, right?"
Yeop Hyeon nodded. She fell silent a moment, then spoke.
"You'd best keep that hidden."
"Why? I don't get it."
"This is the Cangjie Sword Lord's mansion. He was a sword cultivator, so it's naturally advantageous for them. If your identity leaks, you'll become a target—be careful."
Gang Gu glanced around and lowered her voice.
"Opportunities here aren't found—they're stolen. The one who takes them owns them. Don't forget that!"
"......"
Gang Gu pulled two green pills from her bosom and tossed one to Yeop Hyeon.
"Anti-Poison Pill. Just in case."
Yeop Hyeon nodded and swallowed it.
Seeing him take it without hesitation, Gang Gu looked puzzled.
"You trust me that much?"
"I trust her."
An Ranxiu!
Anyone she called a friend, Yeop Hyeon trusted.
Gang Gu stared intently at his face.
"You like her, huh?"
"......"
Gang Gu withdrew her gaze and swallowed her own pill.
"Good luck!"
As Yeop Hyeon opened his mouth to reply, footsteps echoed nearby.
Both turned sharply toward the sound.
A man in his thirties emerged—burly build, long beard.
Yeop Hyeon's eyes sharpened. The man wore Jiang Kingdom garb.
He seemed surprised to see them, likely just passing by. As he moved to continue, Gang Gu frowned and muttered,
"Jiang Kingdom bastard."
She leaned against a nearby tree, averting her eyes.
The man raked his gaze over Gang Gu's body and smirked lewdly.
"I love Jiang Kingdom women. They're amazing in bed. You too..."
In that instant, Yeop Hyeon sprang up like a coiled spring, charging like a leopard.
The man's face stiffened. Too fast to dodge.
He threw a desperate punch.
Yeop Hyeon countered with his own fist.
Fist Collapse!
Infused with intent and power, it was devastating.
Boom!
Crack!
The bearded man's body bent like a bow and flew through the air.
His arm, blocking the punch, snapped into a grotesque shape.
Yeop Hyeon pressed the attack relentlessly.
Moments later, he dragged the wailing man before Gang Gu and forced him to his knees.
"Apologize!"
Gang Gu eyed Yeop Hyeon curiously.
"Apologize for what?"
In a flash, a golden net gleamed at her waist.
Slash!
A sharp sound rang out as the man's head separated from his body.
Gang Gu sheathed her golden blade and grabbed the bloodied head.
"Can't even be ruthless, tsk tsk... You need to toughen up. Come on! His buddies must be nearby. Let's go kill them all!"
