Ttakboki Jinri, the Gallery's Peach Idol
As I've often said about Ttakboki, all sorts of posts go up on our Maelmang Gallery. Posts searching for family.
Among them, one user always dominated with overwhelming recommendations.
One of the gallery's most famous users. An exhibitionist. Peach enthusiast. And probably my college student neighbor. She's infamous for posting sexy photos on the gallery. A few users have similar vibes, but she's the only one who posts her own pics. Not some filtered fake—pure natural wild-caught (?). In this barren world, no need to explain what that means to guys.
No surprise—the comments were pure worship. She even had full-on cult followers.
'Not even that big a deal, but whatever.'
Honestly, her exposure isn't that extreme. At most, thigh-baring or midriff-revealing outfits, or poses that highlight certain spots. Like those Pilates instructors on Insta.
'That's probably why she's so popular.'
That subtle tease made her way more appealing. If she'd gone full-on nude, the hype would've died fast.
'Rise quick, fade quick.'
In an era where even porn mags require risking your life to farm, she rakes in fans and support.
Of course, it wasn't all smooth sailing.
Attention breeds popularity. Popularity breeds haters. Humans knock others down when they can't climb up themselves. Baseless smears popped up constantly.
But she had enough fans that defenders weren't short.
I watched it all like a weekend drama. Internet flamewars? Used to matter back then. Now? People are zombie chow in real life. Just childish squabbles.
'They're really going at it.'
Part of me wondered how Peach... nah, screw that. How Han Ga-eul would handle it. Ignore? Long-ass explanation? Shockingly, neither.
She went straight for the frontal assault.
A simple post—no text, just the pic. But it was bold as hell. Short tee hiked up to flash underboob, "Ttakboki Jinri" scrawled in marker on her pale chest. Pure erotic Ga-eul energy. Ironclad proof—no way to fake that.
Her bold move spiked her followers, naturally.
┕Wait, really? Then I doubt too? Lol
The fake controversy? Dead and buried. Lingering haters were just known edgelords getting ignored.
But popularity didn't mean zero backlash.
That sniper post got buried in downvotes. Wasn't the first time either.
Ga-eul ignored these completely. No response, total stonewall. Haters eventually backed off—posting costs points, after all. Even the vicious ones fizzled out quick.
'She's seen all the hate. Tough mental.'
Truth? Total bullshit. Admin access let me see their IDs. Zero actual moms. Mostly mid-30s women, some gays. Just anonymous jealousy dumps.
'Humans stay true even in apocalypse.'
As I stacked up my people-hate, Ga-eul...Ttakboki Jinri kept rising.

She got attention. And questions.
What was her deal? Why do it?
"Hmm."
Me? Exception. Knew Han Ga-eul's identity. Her address. Ten minutes from my Siwoo's Bunker.
'Knowing the truth solo feels weird.'
Didn't love her antics. Pure worry for her safety. Risk of doxxing. Posting her own pics—who knows what pervs might stalk her.
Ga-eul's looks? Rare. Plenty of guys would target her.
No one knew yet, so I let it slide.
'For now, just me.'
Gallery's anonymous star? My neighbor Han Ga-eul.
Odd feeling.
'Not like we hang out.'
Like living next to a celeb. No urge to get too close.
...Maybe that's why I ran into her again soon.
Out on patrol like always. Spotted a college girl with a sword. Pigeon corpse at her feet.
'...What the hell's she doing?'
Curiosity pulled me closer. Ga-eul spotted me first.
"...Who's there? Come out if you don't wanna die."
Not much of a welcome. Sword swung my way, thick killing intent rolling off her. Way stronger than last time. She'd been through shit too, probably.
"It's me. Long time."
"Oh, what? It's you, old man?"
Ga-eul sighed, sheathed her blade. Still had that youthful, innocent babyface.
This kid's the infamous exhibitionist? Gallery's queen who makes guys swoon?
Hard to buy. Cringy nicknames were fanfic anyway.
"Pigeon hunting?"
"Stomach growling."
"You gonna eat that?"
"Yup. That a no?"
"Nah, not really."
Pigeon meat. Not recommended, but edible. Better than starving. I'd considered it myself—stocked enough for now, though.
"Running low on food?"
"Not really. Just testing if it's doable. Not hard to catch."
Ga-eul casually swung her sword skyward. A cooing pigeon dropped dead. Clean cut, as always.
"Hmph! Huff! Sigh, living this rough."
"...Want a peach?"
"You got more?"
Her eyes sparkled. Handed one over from my pack. Like giving treats to a stray cat.
"Wooow, thanks! Man, my debt's piling up."
"Pay me back by helping if I'm in a pinch later."
"Duh! Bad guys show up, just say the word—I'll slice 'em!"
Bold as brass, Han Ga-eul. Kinda killed my urge to lecture.
"...But why trust me like that?"
"Huh? What outta nowhere?"
"You dropped the sword the second you knew it was me. Dangerous move. What if I'm a creep?"
"...Old man's a lolicon? Gonna jump me?"
"...I like older women. And even stretching it, you're no loli."
Head already spinning after two sentences. MZ gen? Innie-outie gap?
"Anyway, be careful. All guys are wolves."
"Whoa, boomer word choice stinks."
This brat?
"Hehe, don't worry. Worst case, if you try anything, I just chop you."
Ga-eul proudly brandished her sword. Fair—with those skills, most guys wouldn't stand a chance.
"Mm, and..."
She stared at my face, dropped a bomb with a faint smile.
"If it's you, old man... wouldn't mind if you jumped me."
"... "
What the fuck is this crazy kid saying? Trying to turn me criminal?
