A World Without a King (5)
“P-put me down…!”
Shin Yooseung dangled from my shoulder like a sack of luggage, flailing her arms and legs as she teared up. I opened my mouth slowly.
“I’ve already put you down twice, and you’ve already tried to run twice. If you were me, would you put you down now?”
“Th-that’s true, but…”
She avoided my gaze with a dejected look. She was genuinely adorable. I wanted to pop her into my mouth and go wararara.
The Demon King, ‘Demon God of Wrath and Lust,’ asks if children are your type and inquires about your tastes.
The Constellation, ‘Demon-like Judge of Fire,’ is greatly shocked by your hidden tastes!
The Constellation, ‘Prisoner of the Golden Headband,’ says he never expected you to be a lolicon and despises you.
The Constellation, ‘Secretive Plotter,’ slightly opens his mouth at your hidden tastes.
The Constellation, ‘Abyssal Black Flame Dragon,’ glares at you, saying a lolicon with a bunny-girl fetish is an extremely dangerous combination.
A large number of Constellations despise you for your tastes.
“I’m not into that, you damn bastards.”
Were these guys actually insane? What normal man would look at an eleven-year-old elementary schooler as a woman?
Those Constellations were all complete lunatics anyway.
I wanted to unload a stream of pure filth right then and there, but with an eleven-year-old right next to me I forced myself to hold it in.
For the record, I usually held back the swearing even when Gilyoung was around. Of course, there were times I couldn’t hold it in and let it fly.
“I’m starting to get carsick… Could you put me down just for a little bit? Please?”
“If you run again, you’re getting a spanking this time.”
“…Okay.”
She knew she was cute. Looking up at me with tears welling in her eyes while she begged was so adorable that I carefully set the two-time habitual escapee down on the ground.
“But Mister…”
“Oppa.”
“Huh?”
“Don’t call me Mister. Call me Oppa. And if you can manage ‘Jinwoo Oppa,’ even better.”
The Constellation, ‘Abyssal Black Flame Dragon,’ says this guy is clearly a maniac who loses his mind over being called Oppa.
A large number of Constellations nod in agreement with ‘Abyssal Black Flame Dragon.’
I ignored the insane Constellations’ messages and stared straight at Shin Yooseung in front of me.
She slowly blinked those big eyes at my demand. While I was looking at her cutely, something I’d forgotten suddenly hit me.
We hadn’t even introduced ourselves. That meant I couldn’t just casually use her name.
Realizing that, I spoke to her.
“My name’s Park Jinwoo, twenty-six this year. What about you, kid?”
“I’m not a kid…”
Since we hadn’t exchanged names, I was currently in the position of not knowing Shin Yooseung’s name, so I called her kid. She puffed out those chubby cheeks a little and glared at me.
Cute.
Of course, even if Shin Yooseung glared at me, it did zero damage. No—it was just cuter.
“If you don’t tell me your name, I’m going to keep calling you kid.”
“…My name is Shin Yooseung, and I’m eleven this year.”
“Alright, Yooseung-Yooseung. Nice to meet you.”
“My name isn’t Yooseung-Yooseung, it’s just Yooseung!”
She was starting to talk back a little now that she was less scared of me. The way she chirped like a baby chick was adorable.
“But Mister—”
“Oppa.”
“…Where are you going right now, Oppa?”
“I was on my way to find my scattered companions.”
“Companions?”
“Yeah. We were progressing the main scenario at Gwanghwamun when some spiteful Dokkaebi suddenly scattered all my companions.”
Talking about it brought that annoying intermediate Dokkaebi to mind. I was absolutely going to beat that bastard senseless with a baseball bat.
While I was quietly vowing revenge against the intermediate Dokkaebi who was the root of this whole mess, a beast’s cry came from behind us.
Grrrk…!
I turned my head toward the sound. A monster that looked like a baby Ghoul was growling as it eyed me and Shin Yooseung.
“…Ah, perfect timing.”
Agile Footwork has been activated!
The skill level of Agile Footwork has increased.
I activated Agile Footwork, darted behind the baby Ghoul in a flash, and lifted it by the scruff of its neck.
Kiiik?!
The baby Ghoul flailed as I grabbed its scruff and hoisted it up.
I ignored its thrashing, held out my arm to it, and said,
“Bite.”
I wanted to raise the skill level of Tough Skin while I was at it, so I brought my arm to the baby Ghoul’s mouth. It didn’t want to miss the chance—its eyes lit up as it bit down hard on my arm.
Kwaak!
When the baby Ghoul clamped down hard on my arm, a startled Shin Yooseung rushed over in one bound and cried out,
“A-Mister!”
“I said Oppa.”
“Th-that’s not the point right now!”
Shin Yooseung urgently grabbed the body of the baby Ghoul that was still biting my arm and started pulling it toward herself.
“Nnngh…!”
Her face flushed red as she strained with all her might, trying to pry the baby Ghoul off my arm. I ended up smiling a dad smile at the sight.
Cute.
But had she already forgotten I was the kidnapper who abducted her? Or was she just so kind that she was helping anyway?
“Yooseung.”
“I’ll get it off right away, Mister…!”
“I said Oppa. Heave-ho.”
“Eh?”
I grabbed the collar of the still-wrestling Shin Yooseung and lifted her up. Then I set her on my shoulder and started walking again to find Mino Soft.
“E-eh? W-wait a second!”
“Hm? Something wrong?”
“E-everything’s wrong! Doesn’t it hurt?!”
Shin Yooseung stared at me with a look that said she was about to explode from frustration, then glanced at the baby Ghoul still twisting its head to keep gnawing on my arm and asked in a flustered voice,
“Mmm. Doesn’t hurt at all? If anything, the drool all over it is a little gross.”
“……………”
Faced with a scene that shattered her common sense, Shin Yooseung just stared at me blankly with her mouth hanging open.
“This Oppa right here is probably strong enough to count on one hand in all of Seoul Dome right now.”
If we were going by overall stats alone, I was probably number one in Seoul Dome. As far as I knew, Yoo Joonghyuk’s overall stats at this point were around sixty.
I spoke to Shin Yooseung, who was still staring at me with her mouth open.
“So don’t worry too much.”
“Th-then why are you suddenly letting this thing bite your arm?”
“Hm? Ah, just to raise skill proficiency and level.”
“What…?”
“I’ve got a defensive passive skill called Tough Skin. The simple way to raise it is by taking hits.”
Shin Yooseung gave me a look that said, What kind of person is this?
“Now let’s go find my companion. She’s a bit sly but a kind softie, so you’ll probably get along fine with her.”
In the original she used to trail after Kim Dokja going “Mister, Mister!” Would she call her Auntie now?
“Is it okay to talk about your companion like that?”
“It’s the truth, and besides, it’s just you and me here right now.”
Maybe because she was still eleven and a kind softie, Shin Yooseung made a face like her conscience was pricking her. I snorted a laugh and started combing through Songpa-gu to find Kim Dokja.
Like that, I chatted with Shin Yooseung, growing closer while the baby Ghoul kept biting my arm the whole time, and after nearly an hour of searching Songpa-gu I finally managed to spot a building with “Mino Soft” written on it in the distance.
“Hell yeah, finally found it.”
“Is Oppa’s companion in there?”
“Probably.”
“Probably…?”
Shin Yooseung gave me a look of pure disappointment at my irresponsible answer. I ignored her and activated Clairvoyance.
Clairvoyance.
Clairvoyance has been activated.
I directed Clairvoyance toward the rooftop of Mino Soft, and my vision reached all the way up to the high rooftop.
Hmm… Kim Dokja and Han Sooyoung are… ah, looks like they’re currently beating the crap out of the Mino Soft people.
Faint screams drifted down from the rooftop, and at the same time I could see blood spraying up there.
It was a place no longer suitable for a child like Shin Yooseung. I turned my head and looked at her sitting on my shoulder.
“Yooseung, go into my My Room for a bit, okay? Lock the windows and door tight, and cover your ears until I call you.”
“…Why? I’m not a little kid. I know everything already.”
“You’re a little kid to me.”
When I treated her like a child, Shin Yooseung stuck out her lips in a pout of dissatisfaction. But even that was cute, so the effect was zero.
“From now on it’s a scene even adults would have a hard time watching. Be a good girl and go on in.”
“…Fiiine.”
Click.
When I created the door to My Room, Shin Yooseung answered curtly and went inside.
But we only talked for about an hour and ate a meal together, and we already got this close.
Maybe because she was still a little kid? Either way, getting close to Shin Yooseung was only a good thing—there wasn’t a single downside.
She was already following me pretty well.
I headed for the rooftop of Mino Soft with the baby Ghoul still hanging off my arm by its teeth, opened the door, and started climbing.
“Hey, how long are you planning to keep biting me?”
Grrrk…!
I looked down at the baby Ghoul that had been biting me for nearly an hour with pure grit and tenacity, but all I got back was growling.
The skill level of Tough Skin has increased.
“Finally went up, you crazy skill.”
Looks like all proficiency-type skills require pure grinding. Even if it was just a baby Ghoul, I’d been getting bitten for nearly an hour and the skill level only went up by one. That made it pretty clear.
“Hey, thanks to you the skill level went up. Stop biting now and let’s go our separate ways.”
Grk.
I lifted the baby Ghoul by the scruff, peeled it off my arm, and set it on the floor. It scrambled away in a hurry.
Just what kind of guts did that thing have to keep biting my arm the whole time? It was a mystery, but the fact that the skill level had gone up thanks to it was real, so I let it go without lingering.
Anyway, I let out a small sigh of relief that Tough Skin had finally leveled up and continued climbing toward the rooftop when a noisy clattering sound came from above.
Curious, I focused and listened carefully. It sounded like a bunch of people coming down.
“Crazy, crazy! What the hell are those monster women?!”
“Shut up and run! If we don’t run now we’re dead too!”
Looks like they already cleaned everything up.
Probably wanderers who’d been running a coin farm and were now fleeing from Kim Dokja and Han Sooyoung’s rampage.
I picked up a few stone fragments lying on the rooftop floor and waited for the wanderers to come down.
“We’re almost to the first floor! Hurry—”
Just as a wanderer reached the stair landing I was on, I flicked a stone fragment hard and sent it flying into his forehead.
Thuk!
“Oh, shit!”
Apparently I’d underestimated my own strength. Right now most Incarnations’ stats were probably in the mid-to-late teens on average.
But my overall stats were a full 63. When I flicked the stone fragment with that kind of power, it buried deep into the wanderer’s forehead and the light vanished from his eyes.
The wanderer in front of me had died from nothing more than a flicked stone fragment.
Thud!
“Wh-what?! Why all of a sudden?!”
“H-hey! There’s someone up ahead!”
When the lead runner among them suddenly collapsed on the floor, the other wanderers stared in shock before all turning to look at me at once.
“Hi. And bye.”
Tuhwaak!
I grinned at the defenseless wanderers staring blankly at me and hurled every stone fragment I was holding at them.
Puh-puh-puh-puk!!
The stone fragments spread out like shotgun pellets and shredded the wanderers. The ones who’d been fleeing Kim Dokja and Han Sooyoung lost their lives that futilely.
A small number of Constellations express mild dissatisfaction at your farming of weaklings.
Then a few Constellations who hated farming weaklings started complaining at me. I scrunched up my face at the messages.
“Bullshit. If you’re so salty, go sponsor other Incarnations at least a hundred thousand coins each and match their overall stats to sixty like mine, you bastards.”
Anyone watching would think I got strong for free, these crazy bastards. The coins I spent just to match my overall stats were at least a hundred and ten thousand. Were these guys completely insane?
A large number of Constellations nod at your words.
A small number of Constellations protest that if they’re dissatisfied they should get out of this channel.
The moment Shin Yooseung went into My Room I unloaded on the clueless Constellations, and I finally felt like I could breathe.
Yeah, people need to say what they need to say to live.
Feeling the long-clogged frustration finally clear out, I headed for the rooftop and finally arrived.
Creak.
I opened the rooftop door and stepped outside. The thick smell of blood hit me. Looking around briefly, I saw about twenty corpses collapsed on the floor, and inside the iron cages were a few men and women.
And most importantly, Kim Dokja and Han Sooyoung were just finishing off the last wanderer.
Shwaak!
I quietly watched the two women flashily stabbing a man from front and back with their blades. Scary women, as expected.
“Wahoo~ This, this is a pretty decent haul, huh?”
Han Sooyoung had blood smeared all over her face like a maniac and was grinning about earning coins. I made a face of pure horror.
“Look, Constellations. The pretty girl right in front of you is happy about killing people and earning coins. How can the world be this terrifying…”
The Constellation, ‘Secretive Plotter,’ picks a fight with your words, asking who is saying that to whom right now.
The Constellation, ‘Prisoner of the Golden Headband,’ refutes you, saying you’re worse than her if anything and never less so.
The Constellation, ‘Abyssal Black Flame Dragon,’ looks at you with dead eyes.
“Shut up, I said shut up. Don’t fight dirty with facts.”
I quietly told the Constellations who were beating me up with facts instead of fighting fair with instigation and fabrication to shut their mouths.
Just then, a man sitting injured on the floor glared at Kim Dokja and opened his mouth.
“Haha… You psychopath bastard. I knew it’d be someone like you. That rumor going around—”
Grab!
“Ke-kehek?!”
“Hey, our Dokja is looking at you with a hurt face. You gonna keep that mouth open?”
I grabbed the neck of the man bringing up Kim Dokja’s past hard and lifted him as I spoke.
“J-Jinwoo-ssi?”
“Hi, Dokja-ssi. It’s been four hours… uh… a few dozen minutes!”
“How did you get here…?”
Kim Dokja stared at me blankly. Like she’d just seen someone who shouldn’t be here.
Well, she wasn’t wrong. Even Kim Dokja probably never expected a scattered companion to return in just a few hours.
“Well.”
“Well?”
“I wandered around looking for you, Dokja-ssi.”
“What?!”
Kim Dokja made a startled face and started staring at me intently. At that reaction I put on a tearful act, wiping the corner of my eye with a finger as if I were sad.
“Do you have any idea how much I searched for you, running from Jongno-gu to Dongdaemun-gu, Gwangjin-gu, Songpa-gu?”
“Is this guy a complete psycho…? He ran through four districts in this short time? Just to find one person? Is he a stalker?”
Han Sooyoung, who’d been listening from the side, looked horrified at my words and hid behind Kim Dokja.
“Ke-kehek?!”
“Huh? Ah, right. I was still holding you up.”
His last name was Yoon, I think? Anyway, I let go of the hand that had been lifting Assistant Manager Yoon, and he slammed his butt hard onto the solid rooftop floor.
“Keuhk?!”
“Oops. Sorry? That was on purpose.”
I looked down at Assistant Manager Yoon suffering from landing on his ass and smiled coldly.
Knock knock!
Just then, a knocking sound came from behind me. I turned my head toward the sound and saw a window floating in midair.
It was the window of My Room.
Rattle!
“Oppa, how long do I have to keep covering my ears?”
“What if you come out? Does our Yooseung want a spanking?”
“I’m not a little kid!”
“There’s a fifteen-year age gap between us?”
“Then can I call you Mister?”
“That’s not allowed.”
Even though I’d told her to stay inside, she couldn’t even last a few minutes and opened the My Room window. I let out a small sigh.
Shin Yooseung was a pretty stubborn kid too.
And watching that, Kim Dokja and Han Sooyoung made startled faces, then pointed with trembling hands at Shin Yooseung sticking her face out of the window beside me and shouted,
““Why do you have her with you?!””
“Huh?”
“?”
The two adult women’s high-pitched voices rang across the rooftop of Mino Soft. At that, Shin Yooseung and I both turned our heads and stared at the two women looking at us with shocked faces.
“Yooseung, do you know those pretty aunties?”
“No? I’ve never seen them before either.”
““Who are you calling aunties?!””
The two aunties snapped at me with scratched expressions.
I pulled Shin Yooseung out of the window, set her on my shoulder, and asked Kim Dokja and Han Sooyoung,
“Then how do you two know this kid?”
“That’s…”
“Well…”
At my question the two of them hesitated. I let out a small sigh.
Both of them were terrible at acting or making excuses.
“Whether you two know this child or not, let’s introduce ourselves first. Come on, Yooseung, introduce yourself to the two aunties.”
“Yes!”
Shin Yooseung bowed her head politely from my shoulder and greeted them.
“Hello, I’m Shin Yooseung, eleven years old this year.”
“Aigoo! Our Yooseung introduces herself so well!”
When I praised her with a dad smile for introducing herself so politely, Shin Yooseung flushed and yelled,
“I’m not a little kid! Don’t treat me like a little kid, Oppa!”
“These days eleven is still a little kid. It always has been, and it always will be.”
“No! I’m an adult! I’m all grown up!”
“I only treat people nineteen and up as adults. If you want to grow up fast, drink some milk.”
“Tch! I already know drinking milk doesn’t make you grow faster!”
While chatting back and forth with Shin Yooseung, I turned my gaze and glared at Han Sooyoung, who was still hiding behind Kim Dokja.
“Aren’t you going to introduce yourself? Even a little kid is introducing herself clearly.”
“I’m not a little kid!”
Chirping like a baby chick, Shin Yooseung now started pulling my hair. But I ignored her and stared straight at Han Sooyoung.
Only then did Han Sooyoung, who’d been warily watching us like a cat, carefully step out from behind Kim Dokja and open her mouth curtly.
“Twenty-six, Han Sooyoung. Genius pretty-girl author.”
“Yooseung, from now on you can call that auntie Sooyoung Auntie, okay?”
“Hey?! Who’s an auntie! Just try calling me auntie once?! I won’t let it slide!”
“Why are you yelling at my kid?!”
“It’s because of you, you bastard!!”
Han Sooyoung strode right up to me and roughly grabbed my collar. At that, Shin Yooseung flinched and tightly hugged my head.
I watched that quietly, then looked down at Han Sooyoung and whispered,
“She’s scared.”
“A-ah, shit. Getting scared over something this small.”
Only then did Han Sooyoung notice the thoroughly frightened Shin Yooseung. She roughly scratched her head, let go of my collar, and stepped back to put distance between us.
“I-I’m not scared…!”
Maybe she’d heard our whispered conversation. Shin Yooseung protested in a trembling voice. But no one here believed that.
“Alright, Yooseung. Anyway, the person standing over there like a beanpole is my companion and our team leader. She’s twenty-eight and her name is Kim Dokja. Try calling her Dokja Auntie.”
“…Who are you calling an auntie. I’m still young, you know?”
“Yeah, twenty-eight. Thirty the year after next.”
“You want to be childish like that?”
“Men stay childish even when they grow up.”
The Constellation, ‘Prisoner of the Golden Headband,’ nods at your words.
The Constellation, ‘Abyssal Black Flame Dragon,’ nods at your words.
Kim Dokja glared at the two Constellation messages floating in front of her with dead eyes, then let out a small sigh, approached Shin Yooseung sitting on my shoulder, and spoke with a gentle smile.
“Hello, Yooseung. I’m Kim Dokja. Can you just call me Dokja Unnie?”
“Y-yes…”
We finally finished introducing ourselves. Then Han Sooyoung suddenly cut in.
“Hey, aren’t you going to introduce yourself?”
“I have to too?”
“Isn’t that obvious?”
At Han Sooyoung’s look that said she couldn’t believe this, I let out a small sigh and introduced myself.
“My name is twenty-six, age is Park Jinwoo. Nice to meet you.”
“I think you mixed up the name and age.”
“You can let the small stuff slide. I allow it.”
“No, it bothers me.”
“Is it that time of the month? Why are you so prickly?”
“Wow…! I’m going to lose it?! Hey, is he always like this?!”
“Jinwoo-ssi has always been like this. You just have to put up with it.”
At Kim Dokja’s non-defense defense, Han Sooyoung roughly scratched her head with a look that said she was about to go crazy.
I ignored her and stared straight at Kim Dokja. She tilted her head and asked,
“Is there something you want to say to me?”
“Speech.”
“What?”
“Let’s just drop the formal speech now.”
“Suddenly?”
Kim Dokja blinked at my sudden demand. I nodded and continued.
“You’ve already used informal speech with me several times. How long are you going to keep this up? We’ve gotten close enough, so let’s drop the formalities.”
“Well, if that’s the case…”
Kim Dokja made a face like, Is this okay? But it was true she’d already used informal speech with me several times, so she reluctantly nodded.
“Cough…! Cough…! Y-you, who are you—”
Slash!
While Assistant Manager Yoon, still sitting on the floor beside me, tried to say something while looking at me, Han Sooyoung swung her blade at his neck, and he had his head cut off without any resistance.
“What a retard.”
“Ooooh!”
Clap clap clap!
I gave a small round of applause in admiration at Han Sooyoung stylishly slicing Assistant Manager Yoon’s neck. She sniffed proudly and said,
“Hmph! This much is a piece of cake!”
She was cute too, getting this happy over one round of applause.
Han Sooyoung struck a pose for a while, then turned her head back to look at Kim Dokja’s face. She asked curtly,
“What are you standing there spacing out for? Feeling sorry this bastard died?”
“It’s not that.”
“Your face says otherwise for something that’s not that. Right?”
Han Sooyoung turned her head and asked me.
“It does, yeah?”
“See? Even he says so. Earlier you were about to listen to this bastard’s nonsense—why sit there quietly listening to that crap?”
Han Sooyoung shouted at Kim Dokja.
“Constellations don’t like that kind of sweet potato. These days instant cider is the trend.”
“You’re the one who doesn’t seem to get it. Listening to that nonsense just enough and then killing them gives more coins.”
Kim Dokja snorted a laugh and refuted Han Sooyoung.
“There’s no cider without sweet potato, you know.”
“No there isn’t? Readers… no, Constellations like killing them right away more, you know? What does a non-author know to be talking so big?”
“I know better. I’m a reader.”
Kim Dokja and Han Sooyoung bickered with each other as they started rummaging through the wanderers’ items.
Then suddenly a Constellation’s message floated up in front of us.
The Constellation, ‘Demon-like Judge of Fire,’ says she has something to tell ‘Kim Dokja.’
“Hm?”
“Huh?”
Kim Dokja looked up at Uriel’s message with a puzzled expression, and I felt a wave of unease at Uriel’s message.
I carefully started putting distance between myself and Han Sooyoung and Kim Dokja, heading toward the rooftop railing of Mino Soft.
“Oppa?”
“Shhh…”
Shin Yooseung, puzzled by my behavior, spoke quietly, but I put a finger to her lips and signaled her to be quiet.
She looked a little confused but nodded without further comment.
The Constellation, ‘Demon-like Judge of Fire,’ snitches that ‘Park Jinwoo’ caused a major incident this time!
“Park Jinwoo did? ‘Demon-like Judge of Fire,’ what do you mean by that?”
That traitor… snitching again!?
That cute archangel was snitching on my mistakes to Kim Dokja again this time. My unease had been justified.
I pulled Gleipnir out of My Room, lifted Shin Yooseung who’d been sitting on my shoulder, and held her in my arms in front of me.
The Constellation, ‘Demon-like Judge of Fire,’ tells ‘Kim Dokja’ that ‘Park Jinwoo’ jumped off a 25-story building rooftop in Jongno-gu, collapsed buildings while slaughtering hundreds of monsters, and kidnapped Shin Yooseung!
“What is this…? Park Jinwoo did what?”
“I already knew he was a crazy bastard, but this is a psycho beyond imagination…”
Hearing Uriel’s words, Kim Dokja and Han Sooyoung stared blankly at the message. Then, looking for me to confirm the facts, they spotted me standing on the rooftop railing and made shocked faces.
“Hey, Park Jinwoo! What the hell is this about?! And why are you standing on the rooftop railing!!”
“You crazy bastard! You’ve got the kid in your arms too! What are you trying to pull?!”
I answered the two people screaming at me standing on the rooftop railing with a snicker instead of words.
Then I kicked the rooftop railing with one foot and jumped off.
“Hahahaha! This is my escape route! ‘Demon-like Judge of Fire’! Kim Dokja and Han Sooyoung! You lost the battle of wits against me!”
The Constellation, ‘Demon-like Judge of Fire,’ is greatly shocked!
“You crazy bastard?!”
“Th-that…! Isn’t that guy a complete psycho?!”
I jumped off a building rooftop once again. But since I had baby Shin Yooseung in my arms this time, I firmly planted Gleipnir into the building railing and came down safely using a method like the ‘fast rope’ training done from helicopters.
“Is our Yooseung okay?”
“Y-yes… I’m fine, but.”
“But?”
“What about Oppa? Those two looked really angry.”
Shin Yooseung lifted her head and stared up at the rooftop we’d come down from. I looked up at the rooftop after her.
“Park Jinwoo!! You’re dead if I catch you?!”
“You crazy bastard! What the hell are you doing with the kid?!”
Cold sweat ran down my back at the two women screaming down at us—no, at me—from the rooftop, but I still snickered.
“It’s fine. I’ll get scolded a bit, but won’t those two feel a little better?”
“Huh? Y-yes…”
Shin Yooseung stared at me with a worried expression, but I kept smiling at her to tell her not to worry.
Along with the irresponsible thought that future me would somehow handle it.
