Park Jinwoo sent the rest of the party into My Room — everyone except Kim Dokja — then casually surveyed the surroundings.
"What a mess. Or maybe 'desperate' fits better?"
"If it weren't for your My Room, Jinwoo-ssi, there's a good chance we'd be out there doing the same thing."
Park Jinwoo and Kim Dokja watched the scene unfold before them with clear eyes — people tearing into one another just to keep themselves alive.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
"Die! Just die already! Fuck! Please just die!"
"I—I'm sorry! But I had no choice if I wanted to live!"
"I—I don't have any grudge against you! I'm just trying to survive…!"
"Aaaagh! Get the hell away from me! Get away!!"
People swung weapons at their rivals, fighting to force their way into a Green Zone. Blood sprayed across Chungmuro Station.
Hmm… looks like I need to bump up my stats a bit.
8,000 coins have been consumed.
Stamina: 10 → 15 | Strength: 10 → 15
Agility: 10 → 15 | Magic Power: 10 → 15
Watching people spill blood all around him, Park Jinwoo decided his stats needed work. He invested coins into his overall attributes, then turned to Kim Dokja.
"Ah! Less than an hour left. We'd better hurry, Dokja-ssi."
"…Haa. Can't I just rest inside My Room?"
"Come on, it's lonely by myself. Just help me out a little, okay? Dokja-ssi!"
"Let's just get this over with…. We've got about fifty-five minutes left."
Kim Dokja's face twisted slightly as she spoke. Hearing her answer, Park Jinwoo lit up and sprinted toward a single-person Green Zone where a knife fight had just broken out.
"Hey! Hold it right there!"
"The fuck do you want? You after this Green Zone too?"
The man in his forties twisted his face into a snarl, wiped the blood off his cheek, and glared at Park Jinwoo.
"Mind putting those eyes away? I came to deliver some good news, and you're already pointing a knife at me with that look. You're pissing me off, old man."
"What the hell are you babbling about?! Get the fuck out of here!"
Whoosh! Whoosh!
The man glared murderously at the pest who kept talking at him and slashed his knife through the air in threat. Park Jinwoo let out a small sigh and stepped closer.
"Hey. You're the one who started this."
"W-what? Don't come any closer! You bastard!"
The man faltered as Park Jinwoo approached without a shred of fear.
"I fucking told you to stay back! Just die already!"
The man adjusted his grip and lunged, aiming for Park Jinwoo's stomach.
Thud!
"Urgh…!"
"If you charge in that clumsy and textbook, of course you're gonna get hit…."
Reading the man's painfully orthodox stab, Park Jinwoo simply turned his body, slipped past the blade, and drove a fist into the man's head.
Crash!
The man took the punch square to the skull, dropped his knife, and tumbled across the floor.
"Ugh…."
"See, old man? If you'd just cooperated when I came over nice and friendly, you wouldn't be hurting right now. Right?"
Park Jinwoo crouched in front of the man sprawled on the ground, groaning in pain, and looked down at him.
"Hey, old man. You want to live?"
"I—I want to live. N-no, I want to live! P-please! Just spare my life!"
Clutching his punched head with one hand, the man begged Park Jinwoo for mercy. Park Jinwoo scratched his head and put on a troubled expression.
"Whoa, when did I ever say I was going to kill you? Why the theatrics?"
"Th-then…?"
"Ahem…! Four hundred coins. Pay four hundred coins a night, and I'll put you up somewhere safer and more comfortable than a Green Zone for the whole night. How about it? Interested?"
"Safer than a Green Zone…?"
At the offer of a place safer than a Green Zone for a single night's fee of four hundred coins, the man's eyes wavered for a moment.
"H-how am I supposed to believe that?"
But the suspicion snapped right back into place as he eyed Park Jinwoo with a hard, wary look.
"If you say you don't believe me, I might have to become a slightly dangerous person. You okay with that?"
"Fuck… so you're saying I don't have a choice…."
Incarnation 'Yoo Junwook' has paid 400 coins to Incarnation 'Park Jinwoo'.
"Thank you for your patronage! In you go."
"What do you me— Waaaaagh!"
Clunk!
The moment the man paid the four hundred coins properly, Park Jinwoo generated a door right behind him and shoved him through it. The man vanished into the doorway with a scream, free-falling into the space beyond.
"That's guest number two secured!"
"How many guests are you planning to take in total, Jinwoo-ssi?"
"Hmm… max of about twenty?"
"My Room is currently twenty pyeong. Twenty people would make it a little cramped."
"Ah, no need to worry about that."
"Excuse me? Why not?"
"I'm expanding My Room to thirty pyeong and splitting the layout — ten pyeong for us, the remaining twenty for the guests."
"Then there shouldn't be any major inconvenience."
Kim Dokja nodded in understanding. Sparks crackled in the air as Bihyung appeared.
Snap!
Bihyung glanced between Park Jinwoo and Kim Dokja, then snapped his fingers.

45 minutes remaining until the third Main Scenario activates!
As Bihyung snapped his fingers, Park Jinwoo glanced over the scenario message that appeared before him. Bihyung pressed on.
Bihyung shrugged.
Aaaaaagh!!
Kyaaaaah!!
S-save me!
Die! Die!!
People who had just confirmed Bihyung's words and the Main Scenario message went stiff-faced or deathly pale, then redoubled their efforts to butcher anyone near a Green Zone they wanted. Screams rang out all across Chungmuro Station.
"At this rate my prospective guests are all going to die. Let's pick up the pace a little, Dokja-ssi."
"Understood."
Just as Park Jinwoo and Kim Dokja were about to move, a woman's voice called out from behind them.
"Looking pretty relaxed, Unnie, Oppa. You trying to die or something?"
That attitude alone was enough — no need to turn around to know who it was.
"You're one to talk about looking relaxed."
"Yeah, what are you doing here, Lee Jihye?"
"Worried about me? Don't be. Nobody touches my room. They all know what happens if they do."
Lee Jihye grinned at Kim Dokja and Park Jinwoo's words, then casually swung the long blade in her hand.
"I don't want Unnie and Oppa to die. Unnie made a pretty good impression talking back to Master earlier, and Oppa gave me chicken and tteokbokki. If Oppa dies, who am I supposed to freeload chicken and tteokbokki off of?"
"We won't die, so don't worry. We already know how to survive even without a 'Green Zone.'"
Kim Dokja gave Park Jinwoo's shoulder a couple of light taps and smiled faintly as she answered.
Lee Jihye's eyes went round as a rabbit's, and she immediately pressed them both.
"What? There's a way? What is it?"
"You think I'd tell you? Go back to your room and sleep. You'll stunt your growth."
"Tch… I'm a sophomore in high school — I'm already done growing. Come on, what is it! Tell me, please? Unnie! Oppa!"
Lee Jihye's eyes sparkled as she pestered them relentlessly — until Yoo Joonghyuk appeared behind her.
"Go back to your room, Lee Jihye."
"Ah…… Yes, Master…."
"Wow, she just crushed her."
One word from Yoo Joonghyuk and Lee Jihye went completely obedient, trudging off with a dejected face until she vanished from sight. Following her Master's order, she was heading back to her room.
Having finished her own business as well, Yoo Joonghyuk paused mid-turn and looked over Kim Dokja and Park Jinwoo.
"I heard. You can survive even without entering a 'Green Zone'?"
"That's right."
Kim Dokja shrugged as she met Yoo Joonghyuk's gaze.
"…………."
Yoo Joonghyuk flicked a glance at Kim Dokja, then fixed a hard stare on Park Jinwoo standing beside her.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Did I do something to you while I was drunk?"
"Haa…… You really don't remember?"
"Uh, no… I genuinely don't."
Park Jinwoo had a rough idea of what he'd done to Yoo Joonghyuk after seeing the sniper rifle in Shop User, but he put on a blank face and played dumb.
Yoo Joonghyuk glared at him, sighed, then turned her back and walked off the same way Lee Jihye had gone, disappearing from view.
30 minutes remaining until the third Main Scenario activates!
"Crap, we already burned fifteen minutes talking. Dokja-ssi, take this."
"This is… duct tape?"
Park Jinwoo checked the Main Scenario message, went urgent at the thirty-minute warning, and handed Kim Dokja a roll of duct tape he'd bought from the General Shop.
"Jinwoo-ssi, why the duct tape? Don't tell me— you're not actually—?"
Kim Dokja took the roll and tried to reject the thought that had just surfaced, but the answer she got was exactly as bad as she feared.
"It's exactly what you're thinking. From this point on, we're forcibly kidnapping people."
"You're serious…?"
"We're out of time. Subdue them, wrap their hands and feet in duct tape, and bring them to me. I'll go first."
Riiip—!
Park Jinwoo finished speaking, tore the packaging off the duct tape, and charged a middle-aged man.
He reached the man's back in an instant and slammed him face-first into the floor. The man hit the ground with a pained groan, but Park Jinwoo paid it no mind — he straddled the man's back, wound duct tape tightly around his hands and feet, generated a My Room door on the floor, and tossed the restrained man straight through it.
Aaaaaagh!!
The middle-aged man vanished into the doorway with a scream.
"W-what? Where did that guy just go?"
"No, more importantly — what's with the duct tape? Was that just a kidnapping…?"
The people who'd been facing off against the middle-aged man murmured among themselves, staring at the spot where he'd been subdued, bound, and disappeared in a single breath.
"One guy, two-shi-gi, three-sam, raccoon."
1,600 coins.
Park Jinwoo counted the people around him on his index finger.
"What? Was he just pointing at us?"
"Oh, shit! Get your weapons up!"
"What the hell does '1,600 coins' mean?"
Confused but thoroughly on guard, the people tightened their grips on their weapons.
"Be my guests. Quietly."
With that, Park Jinwoo charged straight at them.
