Daily Life with Her
My first time ended as rapturous as it was empty. She had worked so hard for me, and I felt sorry, because it seemed I myself had done nothing at all. Thinking back on it now, even while she was riding me, Jiyeon had kept rubbing her clit, touching herself the whole time.
The thought that I might never be able to keep satisfying her this way struck me all at once, and a cold unease dropped through me. A man's pride was on the line.
"I should start working out."
For my girlfriend's sake, I decided to take up exercise, something I had never done in my life. I ran straight to my older sister, Hong Doha, and asked her to help me train.
That was a mistake.
"Our Doyun's finally going to work out? ...Why all of a sudden?"
"Because I want to be manly!"
"I like cute Doyun better.... Well, fine. Then starting today, you jog the path along the stream with your noona. Okay?"
"Uh... starting today?"
"If you're not ready by eight, I'm dragging you out myself."
And so the fated hour arrived. I still didn't own any training clothes, so I stepped out into the living room in my old high school gym uniform.
That was when the door to Doha's room slammed open and she came bursting out.
"Hey, let's go! Where are you! ...Oh. What. You were already out."
She had on a see-through white windbreaker over a low-cut gray tank top, and leggings of the same gray.
It seemed like a bit much just for a jog, but what would a hopeless case like me know about the way an athlete thinks? I decided to follow along without a word.
"How far are we running today?"
"Depends on how you do."
The path was crowded in the evening. People out walking their dogs, middle-aged and older couples power-walking in earnest, joggers and cyclists—together they made a clamorous scene.
We started with an easy walk along the path.
But once we had gone a little way, I got the feeling that everyone's eyes were drawn to my sister. The zipper of her windbreaker had slipped down, and the cleft of her chest was left bare.
"Noona. Zip that up. Doesn't it bother you?"
"Hm? ...Oh. Are you worrying about me right now? These are workout clothes. It's not a problem at all."
Instead, she pulled the windbreaker off and knotted it at her waist.
Sigh... I should have kept my mouth shut. If it had been Jiyeon, she would have zipped it all the way up on the spot.
We walked another ten minutes or so and crossed the bridge over the stream. From here, Doha said, we would run straight back the way we had just walked.
While I ran, heaving for breath, every stray thought about zippers and outfits vanished at once. I was so exhausted that nothing came to mind at all. All I could do was chase the sight of my sister's back.
"Lean your upper body forward a little. Chin back! Control your breathing. Slow!"
"Haaah.... Huhk. Hoooooh..., hah, huhk."
"Don't gasp for air like that!"
A stretch of time that felt like eternity went by. When my sister checked her watch, she said barely two minutes had passed.
"Nowhere near enough. You were only a little faster than a power walk, and it's two minutes. Still, you're fine~. Just trust your noona. I'm Hong Doha."
"We're heading in now? Today's over, right?"
"No. Now it's bodyweight. Today's just a test, so we'll only do push-ups and sit-ups. All right—go!"
I endured another hellish stretch, and at last I finished every part of her training course. She said that by tomorrow morning I would be sore all over. Then she smacked me on the back and told me that was a good thing.
Back at the house I meant to shower first, but she walked into the bathroom as if it were nothing, shedding her clothes on the way in.
"Noona? I said I was washing up first."
"So what. I'm already undressed, so I thought I'd check your body while I was at it. Doyun, you really haven't changed much from before, have you?"
It was true. Even set beside my middle school days, my body had hardly changed.
Doha, by contrast, had bronzed skin that all but radiated health. She was taller than I was, her back and shoulders broader, and her abs were carved into two clean, hard lines.
Seeing her body from so close, my eyes locked onto her chest before I could stop them.
She hadn't been anywhere near this developed back then. Now she didn't lose to Jiyeon in the slightest.... No—if anything, Noona was even more......
...Snap out of it, Hong Doyun! What on earth are you thinking?
"What are you staring at like that? Aha.... You want to touch them? Our little Doyun.... You want to feel Noona's chest, just like when you were little?"
"Geez, no!"
"It's a joke, and you're being prickly. Hold still."
She pressed along my shoulders, my back, and my chest in turn, then muttered that I still had a long way to go.
"Doyun. Have you been shaving your pubic hair?"
"Sh-sh-shaving? No! Why would you ask that?"
Out of nowhere she had pointed straight at my groin. I covered myself on reflex and stepped back.
...Why is she suddenly asking whether I shaved down there?
"It matters. Mine grows in thick, so I have to wax every week. You've barely got any armpit hair either, then?"
"Well, that's true, but..."
"Hmm...... Maybe the kid's secondary characteristics still haven't fully come in.... I've thought so for a long time."
She turned it over for a moment, told me to shower in peace, and left the bathroom. She didn't forget to hook a towel snug around her neck on the way out.
A few days passed, and I decided to sit in on Jiyeon's fitting shoot. For some reason the owner of the shop had insisted I absolutely had to come, so I thought I would at least go and see.
When I arrived at the studio, a woman beside Jiyeon greeted me. Jiyeon said she was her boss.
The owner's name was Joo Chaebin, a woman in her late twenties. I thought it remarkable that someone so young had become the owner of a shopping mall and was running it herself.
My first impression of Boss Chaebin was of an older sister who was, somehow, frightening.
She wore a black bob that fell to her shoulders. Her sharp eyes and the beauty mark beneath one of them were striking, but I startled a little at the tattoo showing through her sheer shirt—a flower flushed red, and a snake, running from her shoulder down across her upper chest.
"The boyfriend...... right?"
"Yes. I'm Hong Doyun. I came to observe today."
"Ah, I only ever knew you as Jiyeon's little brother.... But you're quite handsome, aren't you?"
"...Yes?"
"Looking closer, you're seriously pretty. The photo Jiyeon showed me didn't do you justice at all, did it? A find like this, and he has to be a man, of all things.... Ah, mind if I feel your body for a second?"
As Boss Chaebin reached for my waist with both hands, Jiyeon cut her off before she could lay a finger on me.
"Boss. You know I'm right here."
"...Oh my. J-Jiyeon. I couldn't tell from the photo alone, but seeing him now, he'd suit it so well that I just got carried away.... Shall we have a coffee until the director gets here? Here, boyfriend, you take one too."
Catching the sting of Jiyeon's glare, she flinched and fumbled the rest.
......But what, exactly, would I suit so well?
In any case, this much was clear. Boss Chaebin had a personality quite unlike that first impression.
While we were talking, the director of the shoot arrived with the staff. Jiyeon changed at once, and the shoot began.
I munched on the bread and milk the staff had set out and listened to the owner talk.
As it turned out, what she had meant by suiting me was an outfit of women's clothing. Before I knew it she had dropped every shred of formality with me and was pleading in earnest.
"Doyun. Boss will.... No. Noona has just one favor to ask. Please, be our model."
"You specialize in women's clothes. I'm a man, Boss."
"Double the pay per shoot. Triple, if you keep it a secret from Jiyeon."
"......Ugh. I still can't."
"I've already taken your measurements by eye. See you next time~. And call me noona. No need to be formal."
In the meantime Jiyeon finished the shoot without a hitch. We left the studio and walked on together.
"You looked like a real pro today. Your expression didn't change once."
"Yeah? I was that good?"
Jiyeon smiled, a little bashful. For a small shop, she said, they seemed to be renting quite a good studio and crew, and the pressure of it actually weighed on her.
"Come on, what's excessive about it. The way I see it, you're already a veteran."
"The flattery.... Now that I think about it, I worked really hard back then too, when I was part-timing at a study cafe. I was saving money so I could get into the same university as you."
"A study cafe? Jiyeon, you worked at a study cafe? When?"
In that instant Jiyeon clapped a hand over her mouth. Her face was badly shaken.
What's wrong with her? Did she say something she wasn't supposed to...?
"Uh... uh, yeah. Ah, I never told you. Back when we were in high school, me going to the study cafe to study. I wasn't paying to be there. They said they'd pay me just for showing up, so I went."
"They paid you just for going? What kind of..."
"B-but the owner told me not to mention the job to anyone around me. It was probably awkward, since I was underage. Still, I studied just fine. There wasn't any problem."
"If there was no problem, that's a relief.... You should have just told me. I could have helped you all you wanted."
"You know me, Doyun. I hate that kind of thing. I've got some room to breathe now, so don't worry. Oh—right. Your mom said to eat dinner here today before you go."
"Mom did? She never contacted me. She reached out to my girlfriend before her own son?"
"Ahahaha! Let's hurry. She'll be waiting."
For a moment a shadow seemed to pass over Jiyeon's face, but almost at once her usual brightness returned. She said she was fine, and that was a relief—yet it still surprised me a little that she hadn't said a word of it to me, either.
From there we headed home, talking the whole way.
