Ibaiyo Village-1: Moderately Dealt With the Second Slut
I've given the second slut a moderate thrashing. Pity? None of that. Sure, it was tragic that she got hypnotized and raped, but the moment she decided to hide it, she was guilty.
It was just like approaching someone while concealing a virus infection. In the end, only the people close by end up suffering, so smashing her skull would still be self-defense.
I used magic to turn her into a water balloon, but it still felt insufficient. In Claret's case, she'd mocked me while stabbing a dying Alvin with her staff, so forgiveness was out of the question.
"Would it have been better to smash her face in with a fist instead of just slapping her cheeks?"
"I'm grateful, but I don't want you dirtying your hands over my business."
"What are you talking about? Husband and wife are a shared destiny. Your problems are mine too."
"We haven't even held the wedding yet..."
"Then we'll practice starting now!"
The scene of Luna slapping Claret's cheeks was exhilarating. The impact echoed thunderously—just hearing it sent shivers down my spine. Claret probably won't be able to chew her food properly for a while.
I hoped her flesh and soul would be crushed under agony, enduring miserable days.
"Anyway, we're heading to the Yudika Kingdom now, right?"
"Yeah, but we'll have to stow away on a ship. I've got a wanted poster out on me."
"What for?"
"Insurrection and embezzlement. The first makes sense, but I can't imagine what the second is about."
The embezzlement charge still made me chuckle. I'd left everything the empire—and those sluts—gave me at the inn. All the supplies from the empire? I'd worked enough to earn their worth. There wasn't a single item that qualified as embezzled goods.
"Did they catch on that you were trying to escape?"
"Nah, that can't be it. If they'd sniffed out a defection, they wouldn't have stopped at a wanted notice."
"Considering your level, they might've sent the Red Lion Knights?"
"Maybe..."
The empire's strongest knight order, the ones who'd propped up the nation since its founding and were a nightmare for foreign powers. Just the sight of their red banners was said to make legs tremble. Even late-game Alvin was expected to have a close fight against them.
If they mobilized now, I'd be fucked...
But such worries were unfounded. Unless demons invaded the capital or a neighboring kingdom declared war, they wouldn't move. Both the empress and the finance minister were cowards at heart—they'd keep their elite forces as guards. Some other knight order was more likely.
"Probably won't happen. Even if they do send someone, taking the sea route solves it."
"That's why we're taking a ship!"
"It's more about anticipating the empire's pursuers than dodging the Red Lion Knights. Plus, we can go straight to the Yudika Kingdom without passing through other countries."
Of course, that meant heading to the southern port city of Barande Port first. The pain was not being able to use warp portals—leaving a trail could lead to tracking. At least the port wasn't too far.
Guess we'll have no choice but to ride a carriage for at least three days...
The thought of my ass and back getting wrecked made me sigh. But what could I do? I'd endure until we escaped this damned empire.
"Alvin, the carriage is here! Let's go!"
"Yeah..."
Luna, beaming with joy for some reason, loaded our luggage onto the carriage. Well, after endlessly waiting for Alvin, setting off on a trip was exciting, sure. Or maybe she just didn't know how shitty carriage rides were.
"Hello."
"...Hello."
Seeing her sweetly greet the coachman felt oddly familiar. The coachman, meanwhile, replied listlessly to Luna's greeting. He was a gaunt man with hollow eyes and sunken cheeks, looking utterly despairing.
"What happened..."
"Luna."
I grabbed Luna's shoulder as she tried to pry into the coachman's affairs and shook my head. Getting too involved in a stranger's personal life wasn't wise. Especially with someone we'd just met. I signaled her with my eyes to leave it alone.
"Hello!"
As we stayed silent out of consideration for the coachman, a cheerful voice rang out from behind. Turning around, a young man and woman were greeting us brightly. After the hellos, they efficiently loaded their luggage onto the carriage. Their perfect coordination and matching wedding rings on their left hands marked them as newlyweds.
"...Looks like everyone's aboard, so we'll depart."
With the couple settled, the coachman started driving in a hollow voice. Luna and I leaned back against the railing, facing the young pair. It reminded me of army days rattling around in troop transports.
"Are you two also heading to Ibaiyo Village?"
"No, we're going down to Barande Port."
"Sailing to another country, I see."
Unlike my standoffish self, Luna and the young couple chatted amiably right away. No awkwardness despite being strangers. Her social charm was impressive.
"You two are married, right?"
"Yes, though not long."
"If it's not too rude, could you tell us how you met?"
"Haha, nothing exciting there."
"I still wanna hear it!"
Luna's eyes sparkled at the romance tale, pushing eagerly. Unable to resist, the couple shared their backstory. Childhood friends who'd tied the knot. Hearing "childhood friends," Luna grinned ear to ear.
"We used to run a little shop in the capital."
"But we couldn't afford the rents anymore, so we had to close."
"A friend recommended a rural village with good air and kind folks, so we're moving there."
"Ah, that's Ibaiyo Village!"
"Exactly!"
I'd never heard of Ibaiyo Village before. Not featured in the game either, so probably insignificant. But for some reason, the name felt off-putting. Nothing specifically wrong, though.
"It's like your honeymoon!"
"Just moving. We'll plan a proper honeymoon once we're settled. Gotta treat my hardworking wife right."
"It's fine. As long as we stay lovey-dovey like this, I'm happy."
"Oh my oh my oh my!"
Luna couldn't get enough of their love story. I was quietly enjoying it too. Like the Colvin couple before, their mutual care was dazzling. It brought a smile, yet left a nagging unease.
A loving couple in an NTR game...
The Colvins hadn't been safe either. Lucky to travel with me, or those thug mercenaries would've wrecked them. Without me, the Colvin wife—with her beauty and figure—would've been doomed.
And this young couple too...
The wife's looks were strikingly prettier than her husband's. Maybe that's why they reminded me of the Colvins. Bandits or goblins might ambush the carriage this time.
"You two are lovers, right?"
"Still childhood friends. But we've promised marriage!"
"The honeymoon phase! Hope your love bears fruit soon!"
"Thank you!"
"We'll arrive at Ibaiyo Village shortly. Early as it is, we'll stay the night and depart tomorrow."
Contrary to my expectations, amid the chatter, the coachman announced our arrival at Ibaiyo Village. A stopover for us, destination for the couple. Planning to leave after one night, we all disembarked.
"Just like they said—clean air, quiet village!"
"I'll farm steadily here with my wife."
"What about a house?"
"The village chief kindly offered an empty one, per a friend's intro!"
Handing over a house? Rural hospitality at its finest. Though free favors from the empire were rare—unless there was an ulterior motive.
"If it's okay, stay the night at our place?"
"You sure?"
"Of course! Friends met on the road!"
The couple's kindness covered our lodging and meals. Out of courtesy, we helped unload their moving goods. As we did, a presence approached suddenly.
"Keh heh heh! Finally here!"
A pudgy middle-aged man. Completely bald in front, with a sly raccoon face. Reeking of suspicion, he approached us.
"Who are you?"
"I'm the village chief of Ibaiyo. You must be the couple scheduled to move in today? And these folks..."
"Travelers heading to Barande Port."
"A couple on the road, eh."
The raccoon chief gave me a cursory glance, then leered at Luna from head to toe with a sleazy grin. As I scowled, sturdy young men appeared behind him.
"Brought the village lads to help with the move, but looks like wasted effort."
"Sorry!"
"No matter. Come back next time."
The chief withdrew with his men. Meanwhile, the guys ogled the women, smacking their lips. Seeing that confirmed it.
This is a village that gangbangs rural newlyweds!
I realized why the name felt creepy. A thoroughly depraved place. My blood boiled in reverse.
True education...! They need some proper discipline!
