Double the Tails, Double the Happiness
I called an end to the stream pretty early today.
Reason number one: my sanity had been ground down debating some lunatic screaming about NTR pure love. Reason number two: I'd tuned into a YouTube Kids video to restore some discipline, only to hear the absolute deranged garbage my viewers were spewing in chat.
The first one had been manageable — just one guy to deal with. The second, though...
"Whoa... look at that horse character's face... so fucking lewd... and that tail looks perfect for grabbing, like if you just seized it and pounded her from behind... heeung..."
Yeah. My viewers, who had suspiciously large amounts of money. And among them, the absolute maniacs who got off on bestiality, openly lusting over a video prepared for children.
Even among the hundred-strong death squad that had been cheerfully watching the chat, ten of them couldn't stomach the sheer filth and bailed. At that point I decided there was no way I could keep streaming, so I called it.
"I'm losing my goddamn mind."
They'd look at a penguin and start yelling about cloacal access being totally viable. A ferret would show up and they'd go on about how long and slender it was, how deep it could go. A giraffe, and they'd say if it were just a little smaller deepthroating would be possible.
Unable to defeat the true furry freaks, I'd been so shaken I relayed the whole thing to my friend.
"What? You got shocked over just that? That's softcore at best. Plus your viewers all clearly know their shit — the way they zero in on each animal's exact appeal points."
"You seriously need to see a psychiatrist."
"Psych eval came back normal, don't worry. I do psychiatric counseling every single day."
My bald friend answered with complete confidence. If I kept talking to him my own sanity was going to launch itself into Andromeda, so I hung up and decided to clear out my backlog of emails.
And then.
"Oh, for fuck's sake."
I had received countless handshake requests — no, countless advertising proposals. From adult product companies and lingerie companies, no less.
I was going to lose it.
Why the hell was I supposed to put on the underwear they were pitching and stream in it? This wasn't a girl cam — this was a drawing stream, for fuck's sake.
What? A T-back? Fishnet? A thong? Why the hell did they care about my three sizes?
I didn't even know my own three sizes, damn it. I just wore whatever that furry freak of a friend brought over.
And on DuraHan, the only thing that showed was my chest anyway.
No, that wasn't even the real problem. My audience was overwhelmingly male — so why the hell were they trying to advertise women's clothing and adult products to me?
Go find a proper girl cam on some other streaming site, for fuck's sake.
I let out a heavy sigh at the reality of my situation and vented to the Fox God.
"...Why the fuck is there not a single normal person around me?!"
"Well, for starters, thou art not normal thyself?"
"Don't give me that shit! I am normal! Fox God, if you hadn't turned me into a female gumiho and jacked up my libido, I would've been perfectly normal!"
"And who was it that enjoyed happy time thrice daily even before meeting this one? This lady finds herself most curious."
"That's the male average!"
"Do not make me laugh. Thou art not the center of the world. This lady has been on the receiving end from men herself — where dost thou get off spouting such dogshit?"
"I keep telling you, foxes are canids, right? So of course I can talk some dogshit. Why so harsh about it?"
"Those words — this lady shall return them to thee someday, without fail."
The Fox God growled and vanished off somewhere. Once I confirmed she was gone, I rejected every spam email and every advertising offer that made my skin crawl, then started reading what was left.
"Let's see... one from Halo Streaming, and the other is a liquor ad."
The last remaining ads. Ones I'd filtered with animal instinct, then sifted again with rational judgment. Confirming the offer from a sake company, I sent back a reply saying I was interested — a relatively normal proposal — then finally opened the email from Halo Streaming.
"'We apologize, Streamer. We are sorry for the administrator's mistake'? Ah, is this about that time they ban-hammered me for joking around?"
That had happened within the past week. I'd taken a commission and drawn something a little spicy — nothing that crossed the line — and still got banned.
I was pretty sure the streaming site had already settled it with a private message back then, but they'd sent a separate email.
Were they planning to give me some kind of compensation?
I scrolled down with a flicker of hope, but unfortunately, all that waited below was pure despair.
"An employee... is coming to visit? Why? I haven't done anything special."
I'd caused trouble twice, sure. But I'd already been punished with a one-day ban and a one-week ban, hadn't I?
So why go out of their way to come find me?
"I'll try refusing for now. Ask them for a reason and stall for time. If they find out about me right now, it's straight to the lab."
The moment I closed the mail window—
Ding-dong~ Ding-dong~
The doorbell rang. And my animal instincts were blaring every red flag imaginable at the sound.
"Is anyone home?"
"Nobody? No, that can't be — I'm sure I heard someone talking..."
"Could you come out for just a moment? It'll only take a second. I'm from Halo Company~"
"I don't mean any harm. If you don't come out, I'll just wait right here until I can hear you. Hurry up and come out!"
"Before my patience runs out, that is."
At first the voice had been so sweet I almost considered opening the door. But that last line — that bone-chilling last line — made me fire off a KakaoTalk to my friend first.
I tapped the keypad as gently as I could to send the messages, but she must have heard even that — because now I could hear her nails scraping across the front door.
Skritch.
Skritch-skritch-skritch-skritch-skritch!!!
"You just touched your smartphone, didn't you?"
"See? I told you someone's in there. You can fool human ears, but you can't fool animal ears, my little fox lady."
"Open the door already. I have something to say."
Wait. Did she just say fox lady?
So the person who sent that email already knew my identity and came here on purpose?
"My identity."
"Black Tail Clan. Eight hundred and seventy-one years old. My name is Ha-ri, if you must know? I've told you everything, so if you still won't open up... you know what happens, right?"
"Just wait a little — no, about ten minutes. I'm not mentally prepared yet."
"Well, generous me will wait for you. But if you're stalling for time so you can run..."
She carved a straight line into the door with her nail, staring at me through the gap with eyes that were both savage and sickeningly sweet.
At her words, I sent my friend another KakaoTalk.
Almost hit a tree, huh. That idiot.
I clicked my tongue and peered through the small hole she'd carved in the door at the black fox with half-lidded eyes.
My shaman friend had clearly guaranteed she was safe. So why the hell were my animal instincts still screaming red alert?
It wasn't a threat of being murdered, at least. I'd felt that from my friend before, and it had been genuinely horrific.
This feeling... this tingling in my lower body and chest...
I'd definitely felt this before... but when?
I couldn't remember. Only that I'd seen something incredible once and felt this exact same sensation.
While I fretted and dithered over what to do, ten minutes must have passed — the black fox rang the doorbell again.
"Ten minutes are up. Would you open the door now?"
