#Bridge Comma, Time to Prepare
"Hm."
I scratched my temple, wondering if I was going too far.
There was still so much to prepare.
I had to organize everything I'd experimented with over the past two months, and all the scenarios I'd jotted down were unfinished drafts.
If it was just for sex, I wouldn't need to agonize like this—but I'd gone and created ranks, turning it into a game I wanted to clear.
"Well, we'll be off then~. Eat up~."
With the conversation wrapped up, she linked arms with Choi Hyeok and waved goodbye to us with a smile.
"Siu, work hard~."
"Yep, see you."
I gave a quick bow to the departing couple.
The only memories she had left of me were from our brief professional encounters.
Just a connection from that summer shoot.
We were like close noona-dongsaeng, but with her husband right there, she couldn't show it too much.
"That's how it should be."
Outside of scenarios, we'd never met privately, nor did I have any intention to.
But within the ones I wrote, we could be anything.
A noona who'd do anything for her dongsaeng. Or sex friends. Or lovers.
Anything at all.
I pulled out my puffer jacket from the storage closet, hung it in the hanger, and took the anorak and windbreaker I'd worn in fall straight to the dry cleaners.
"Ugh, cold."
Hunching my shoulders, I lit up in the smoking area.
"Hoo."
Since I was barefoot, I stomped my feet to warm up—and spotted the couple ahead, walking casually in comfy clothes.
Not sure if it was because there were plenty of companies nearby, but there were more newlyweds than I'd expected.
Even if the apartments were old, it was easy to get to Seoul, and with the kindergarten and elementary school combined right there, that probably helped.
"……."
Seeing them didn't make me envious or anything. I'd never seriously thought about marriage, and I wasn't desperate for a girlfriend right now.
"Starting fresh with dating sounds like a hassle too……."
Going back to the starting line, riding the flirty tension, getting to know each other—it all felt exhausting.
I imagined a girlfriend I'd been with for years, comfortable and easy, just dropping from the sky, but I shook my head.
Tap tap.
I flicked off the ash, shoved my hands in my pockets, and headed to the elevator.
I rode down with the couple, and caught the wife slipping her hand into her husband's pocket alongside his.
Ding.
The doors opened soon enough, and I headed home.
"Still kinda jealous, though."
I did envy that unquestioning reliance a little.
Flop.
I sprawled out on the bed, closed my eyes, and pondered deeply.
"Trying it once wouldn't be so bad."
I sat up, set aside the old scenarios I'd sketched, and started scribbling new ideas.
The content was still trash, as usual.
"Huh……."
I finished organizing around dawn and opened the Scenario Book—and spotted one there.
"Already the tenth scenario?"
Two months of fun, and the tenth was right in front of me.
I'd only roughly outlined the front part before sleep overtook me, and I crawled into bed.
Woo Da-hee.
Her husband's work kept them from traveling much.
Even when they did, it was just an overnight, and he'd often cut it short for business.
Running his own company meant he couldn't be away for long.
"Hng~, Oppa. It's been ages since we went out to play~."
Woo Da-hee snuggled into her husband's arms as they lay there.
Choi Hyeok gazed at her with eyes full of love and planted a light kiss on her forehead.
"Yeah. First time hanging out at your dongsaeng's place too."
"I'm already excited. Right?"
"Mm, a bit nervous too. What if I mess up 'cause I'm getting old?"
At her husband's words, Woo Da-hee playfully fiddled with his earlobe and whispered lovingly.
"It's fine. They're not the type to care about that~."
At first, she'd shot down his relentless pursuit in one go—his tanned, rugged look from all the business, his rough edges from workouts, always sweaty from work.
She didn't hate that. It showed he gave his all to his job.
But without any attraction, his endless advances had felt burdensome.
"Ugh, you really don't need to worry~."
But now, she felt grateful for this man who only had eyes for her.
The downside? She couldn't return to showbiz.
He didn't seem to like the idea.
With his constant busyness and her being away for days on shoots, he got so lonely.
She still remembered the last time she'd left for a few days to shoot with Siu—coming home to her big, strong husband waiting like a rain-soaked puppy.
"Let's go relax properly. Got it?"
She patted her endlessly doting husband and drifted off together.
During breaks at work, I jotted down my scenario ideas on Post-its and slipped them into my inner pocket.
"Heading out first~."
I stood precisely at 6 to catch my ride.
On the bus, I pulled out the Post-its.
Details and little mishaps for this scenario.
This time, there was a decent amount to prepare after so long.
Hiss.
I got off the bus and hurried home, buzzing with anticipation.
"Just borrowing her for a bit."
It wasn't some grand sense of mission or conquest.
Just a trashy thought of tasting her briefly and handing her back clean.
At least I was self-aware of how shitty it was, so that made it okay, I repeated to myself as I pulled out the Scenario Book the moment I arrived.
Scribble, scratch.
I gripped the pencil and carefully wrote each character with care.
Handwriting pages every time took a toll on my wrist.
[AM 00:08]
I started after dinner, and the scenario only wrapped up near dawn.
By the end, my hand was giving out and the writing was a mess, but experience told me it would still apply fine.
"Sorry to her husband, but I'll at least give him the vacation……."
Grinning in satisfaction, I gathered the supplies.
I packed the couple's Jenga, Womanizer, and dildo I'd bought earlier into a small bag.
"Hm……."
After stuffing in clothes and essentials for the 2-night, 3-day trip and setting the bag by the door, I nodded approvingly.
To enjoy it properly, I'd spent 2 points investing in Immersion Degree and Dissonance.
"I'm rewriting the whole relationship…… it'll work out, right……?"
First time trying this, so there was some anxiety—but more than that, the excitement kept a smile glued to my face.
