The Junior's Obsession
I waited all day.
I waited and waited and waited for nothing but our precious little puppy to come home.
I tried everything — calls, messages, every method I could think of — but after that last contact, the puppy never answered again.
So I got in my car, parked near the studio apartment where he lived, and hid there the entire day, waiting for him to show up.
And then I saw him — our puppy, being led by the hand of some woman, walking straight into that studio.
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck he's mine he's mine he's mine the puppy is mine I found him first fuck!!!!!"
Like I said before — right now the puppy was in danger, and yet he had fallen into some other woman's hands instead of mine. He was being abducted. I pulled out my phone to call the police… then put it right back in my pocket.
I thought about it for a moment.
He was being kidnapped and confined — and instead of calling the cops, the puppy had called me first?
I reined in the rage just enough to think clearly.
Our precious little puppy had something on him. Someone had dirt on him. It was still partly a guess, but looking at the situation, it was all but confirmed.
He had a weakness, and that was why he wouldn't report it. A smile began to curl at the corners of my mouth, and a truly wonderful idea started taking shape.
Just wait a little longer, my precious little puppy ♡
I had wanted to approach my senior — no, our puppy — the ordinary way. Get close. Become lovers. But I had changed my mind.
I should have used a method this good from the start. I had been far too complacent.
Watching the puppy get led away by that worthless bitch like he had forgotten who his owner was made me want to kill her on the spot.
I could knock her out with the self-defense stun gun in my pocket, then pretend to rescue our puppy and naturally spirit him off to my place — that was an option. But there were too many people around watching.
The bigger problem, though, was that worthless bitch's body. She was built. Wherever she trained, she was taller than our puppy, and you could see the lean muscle even through her clothes.
An ambush might work if I caught her completely off guard, but at this distance, it was impossible.
Then that worthless bitch suddenly turned her head in my direction, and I ducked behind a nearby signboard.
Animal bitch…
Whether she had felt my gaze or not, she glanced over for a moment, then kept walking.
I simply waited for any gap that would separate the two of them, and kept st— no. I just followed them. That was all.
Jackpot.
Jackpot~
All that trailing finally paid off. The two of them split up, and the puppy went to the bathroom alone.
"Come on, my adorable little puppy. Time to go home."
I propped up the puppy — unconscious and slumped over — and strolled casually out of the bar.
"Sniff… sniff sniff… Looks like some other bitch's scent has soaked into our puppy's body while I was gone. Once we get home, I'll mark you all over again with your owner's scent."
Back in college, every time the puppy walked around alone, I used to spray him with perfume that smelled like me so other women wouldn't approach. That scent was gone now.
"I'll make sure that body of yours knows exactly who its owner is. Look forward to it ♡"
The unconscious puppy's face was faintly flushed — probably from the alcohol — so none of the people around us looked twice.
God himself was on my side. No matter who tried to stand in the way of our love, this was proof we were destined to find our way back to each other.
Oppa was taking a while in the bathroom.
Maybe he was taking care of something bigger. Still. He was late.
I kept waiting for him, glancing out the window — and then my eyes refused to believe what they saw.
A woman in a white puffer jacket with purple hair, propping someone up against her shoulder, walking down the street. I shot up from my seat.
"No… no no fucking no…."
I rushed into the bathroom. Oppa wasn't there.
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck!!!!!!"
I slapped two fifty-thousand-won bills down on the table and bolted out of the bar.
"There she is, that fucking bitch."
The white puffer jacket, the purple-haired fucking bitch, had Oppa under her arm and was climbing into a taxi at the stand.
I ran with everything I had.
I shoved through the crowd, sprinting to tear that fucking bitch apart right then and there — but Oppa and that purple-headed bitch were already inside the taxi, and it pulled away.
"Hah… hah… hah…."
Gasping for air, I stared after that taxi, then frantically flagged down another one.
"Welcome. Where to?"
"Th-that taxi up ahead — follow it."
"Heh heh, same party, I take it?"
"Just follow them. Fast."
This crazy old fossil was trying to make friendly conversation and driving like he had all the time in the world, while every fiber of me wanted to rip the wheel out of his hands and chase them down myself.
You fucking bitch, I'm not letting this go. You dare go after my man? And while I looked away for one second??? When I catch you, you fucking bitch, I'm going to tear your limbs off, dump you in a cement drum, and throw you in the ocean.
Still breathing hard from the sprint, I kept my eyes locked on the taxi ahead and nothing else.
"Excuse me, young lady — if you don't mind, mind if I chat a bit?"
I was quietly taking the puppy home when the taxi driver struck up a conversation.
"Sure, that's fine."
The driver looked a little older. He glanced at us in the rearview mirror.
"Wow~ that young man is one lucky guy. Are you two dating, by any chance?"
"Oh my? Is that how we look?"
"Oh, absolutely — the two of you look like a perfect pair."
"Hahaha, thank you for the compliment, sir."
Did you hear that, puppy?
Even other people call us a perfect match. This is fate. You and I can never be separated. It's destiny.
I gently took the head of the puppy — still out cold from the stun gun — and rested it against my shoulder.
Sleep well, puppy… When you wake up, your happy life is just beginning ♡
"Whew, really — a partner who takes care of you when you're that drunk? You don't see that every day."
"Hahaha, thank you, sir."
"That young man is truly blessed. I'm honestly jealous."
"Well then, take care~"
We arrived in front of my place and got out of the taxi.
I supported our puppy and started climbing slowly toward my apartment.
"Hooo… this is a little hard. Maybe I should learn how to work out a bit too?"
"Uuuuugh…."
"Oh? Is the puppy trying to wake up?"
The puppy I had knocked out with the stun gun was starting to open his eyes.
I hurried to get the door open and drag him inside before he fully came to.
The door creaked open — then slammed shut. I locked it fast.
I engaged the double lock and even pulled the batteries out of the electronic lock.
"Uuuugh… wh-where am I…."
The puppy slowly clutched his head and started to get up.
"Ah, puppy's awake?"
"Eun… Eunseo?? Y-you… what are you doing here… more than that… wh-where is this…."
He still looked half-conscious, so I went and fetched the collar I had prepared in advance.
Clink. Clink.
A heavy chain bolted firmly into the wall came into view as I walked toward our puppy.
"Eun… Eunseo… what is that…."
"What do you think? Putting a collar on a puppy is only natural, isn't it?"
"A… a puppy??"
"That's right. Puppy."
At my words, the puppy looked around in a panic, those cute eyes growing wider and wider.
"Th-there's no puppy here… Eunseo… s-so why are you walking toward me with that…."
Fully conscious now, the puppy started backing away from me, retreating step by step.
"Where's the puppy, you ask? Right here."
"Where's the puppy, you ask? Right here."
Just a little while ago I had been drinking with Minhi at a bar. Then I blacked out — and when I opened my eyes, I was in a dark apartment, staring at my university junior Eunseo.
And she was holding a massive red dog collar with a heavy chain dangling from it.
"Th-this joke is going too far…."
"A joke? Why would an owner play jokes on her puppy? You're something to be held warm and close."
Eunseo kept walking slowly toward me, that dog collar in her hands.
With every step she took, I could only back away.
"Our truly precious little puppy ♡ Come here. Time for your collar."
"Eun… Eunseo, stop… th-this isn't funny… stop…."
"Oh my? Still thinking this is a joke? Looks like our puppy needs a little training."
"Ah… ah……… n-no… I d-don't want to…."
The word Minhi had carved into my mind — training — had just come out of Eunseo's mouth.
My head told me it was nothing, but my body already knew better. Terror drained the strength from my legs.
I collapsed to the floor.
"Did our puppy sit down to be considerate of his owner? Such a good boy."
Eunseo kept coming, red collar in hand, still calling me puppy, closing the distance one slow step at a time.
"S-stop it… Eunseo, th-this joke has gone way too far… it's not funny…."
"It's not a joke. Puppy — do I look like I'm joking right now?"
My eyes, still adjusting to the dark, began to make out the room around me.
"Ah… aaaaaah…………."
Behind Eunseo and the dog collar she held, the walls were covered in photographs. Dozens of them.
Photographs of me. And the things I had lost — all of them, piled up.
"Our puppy ♡ Come on, into your owner's arms. Isn't that right?"
"I d-don't want to…… stop…."
"Don't worry, don't worry. Our puppy won't get hurt anymore, and no one will bully you. From now on you just live with me. Forever ♡"
She's… insane….
My little sister is insane, and my university junior is insane too….
They're both insane….
The word training had dropped me to the floor, but even so, I thought I could still run.
I forced myself up and tried to get out through the front door — but the double lock wouldn't budge, and the electronic lock was dead.
"Our~ puppy~~ why are you trying to run from your owner's hands??"
ZZZT!! ZZZZZT!!!
In the dark room, Eunseo advanced on me with a crackling blue light in her hand.
"D-don't come near me…."
"If you keep looking at your owner like that, I'll have no choice but to get a little rough with our puppy."
"I said… don't come near me!!"
"You've been playing around in some other woman's hands long enough. I'll take my time training you all over again."
"Ah… p-please… don't come closer…."
I just kept crying and clawing at the front door, and Eunseo walked right up to me.
Then she held the stun gun in front of my face and let the electricity arc between the prongs.
ZZZZZT!! ZZZZZT!!
"I'll give our puppy two choices."
Eunseo crouched down and pressed the stun gun against my neck.
"One is the zap-zap training. The other is you put the collar on yourself. Which one do you pick?"
"Ah… aah… I d-don't want to…."
"'I don't want to' isn't an option. Pick one of the two."
