My Wife's Sweat-Soaked Battle Suit
Park Minjun gripped the steering wheel until his knuckles went white.
The engine of their hunter-exclusive van roared as it ran. It had started life as an ordinary off-road van, but ever since he'd bought it to hunt alongside his wife Jia, they had been modifying it piece by piece. Thick steel plates had been welded across the exterior, boosting its defenses until the thing looked more like a tank. The engine had been reinforced to haul the extra weight, and the tires swapped for off-road rubber that could take a beating. Claw marks from monsters still scored the battered chassis, vivid as the day they'd been carved.
All that armor had come at a price — they still carried a little of the modification loan. Old, crude, and built like a miniature armored car, it was the couple's most precious work vehicle. An ordinary ride simply couldn't handle hunter work. The modifications had cost them, but there had been no other choice.
The only passengers were Minjun and Jia. The back seats were packed with Jia's combat spear, spare battle suits, a grenade launcher, a first-aid kit, mana recovery potions, and camping gear just in case.
They were both in casual clothes. Minjun wore a thin T-shirt and work pants; Jia, a white sleeveless top and short shorts. The problem was the air conditioner. For days now it hadn't been blowing cold air properly. Midsummer heat sat trapped inside the van, and sweat poured off both of them without pause. In weather this hot, the state of the vehicle's interior was a crime.
"When are you planning to get the AC fixed?"
Jia's voice was cold and even. Her sweat-soaked T-shirt clung to her skin, tracing the contours of her ample chest in sharp relief. Every time the flesh that easily exceeded an H-cup shifted and swayed between the straps of her sleeveless top, Minjun's eyes were drawn to it before he could stop himself. Below her cinched waist, the shorts bit into her thighs, leaving the springy flesh fully exposed. A rich, musky scent rose from Jia's sweat-slicked body.
Minjun tried to ignore the heat gathering low in his belly. If he let that kind of look show during a mission, Jia would shut him out cold — he was sure of it.
"We'll get it fixed as soon as we collect this bounty. I promise."
Minjun answered, wiping the sweat running down his forehead with his sleeve. His voice was even, but inside he was already worrying whether this job would even cover the repair bill.
As independent hunters, they had none of the stable income a major guild could offer. The hunter industry was consolidating, growing more guild-dominated by the year. The good gates and the good contracts all went to the big outfits, leaving solo hunters to scrape by on the leftover work — mopping up stray monsters in places like this Abandoned Village.
The van lurched onto a rough unpaved road. Ever since monsters started pouring through the gates, most rural areas had gone to ruin. People fled, and all that remained were crumbling abandoned houses. The cities and major highways were sealed off behind high Isolation Walls, and the shortfall in food production was made up by vertical farms rising throughout the urban zones.
This Abandoned Village sat outside those Isolation Walls — land that had, for all practical purposes, been written off. But they couldn't just leave the monsters to it. Leave them unchecked, and sooner or later they would push all the way to the cities.
"ETA?"
Jia asked, gazing out the window. Sweat traced the nape of her neck and vanished into her T-shirt.
"About fifteen minutes. The road's a mess, though — could take longer."
Minjun answered, checking the van's GPS and the map. Jia's reflection in the side mirror caught his eye and held it. The T-shirt plastered to her skin with sweat. The thighs bared below her shorts. The faint, quick breath slipping between her slightly parted lips.
His beautiful, captivating wife. Even now, the fact that a woman like Jia was his wife felt faintly unreal.
The abandoned houses began to come into view. Minjun's grip tightened. His instincts kicked up into high alert. Jia said nothing, just reached into the back seat and checked the grip of her spear.
A low monster growl drifted faintly through the wind.
"This is the spot."
They'd arrived. Minjun said it as he hit the brakes. The van rolled to a stop in a small clearing among the ruined houses. When he killed the engine, the world went suddenly quiet. Only the wind remained, and that distant, low growl. On the surface there was nothing to see but collapsed houses half-swallowed by dense overgrowth — but an unnameable killing intent hung in the air, a tension you could feel on your skin.
Jia climbed into the back seat and sat there a moment, catching her breath. Her white sleeveless top, soaked through with sweat, clung to her skin and laid bare the curve of her full breasts, the cinch of her waist, the springy plane of her lower belly. The flesh of her thighs, bared below the shorts, gleamed with beads of sweat. Moisture that had run down from the nape of her neck traced her collarbone and seeped into the valley between her breasts.
Jia pulled the T-shirt off over her head, then stripped off her shorts and underwear in turn. Bare skin met the air and she felt a fleeting coolness — then the sticky heat closed over her again. With the sleeveless top, the shorts, and her underwear all discarded, her naked body was fully exposed in the cramped back of the van.
She was a slender five-foot-seven, but her overwhelming H-cup breasts hung slightly under their own weight, and crowning each pale, rounded swell — like a cherry set atop a white cake — a large, pink-flushed nipple stood out in sharp relief. Even the slightest movement promised a heavy, rolling sway. In stark contrast to those heavy breasts, her waist cinched in tight, and below it her plump ass and hips flared richly to either side. The round, overflowing curves gleamed with sweat, catching the light in a way that made them even more sensual. Her thighs were thick and meaty, firm yet softly padded with flesh, and when she bent at the waist to peel off her clothes, the lush mound of her sex peeked briefly between them — soaked with sweat from the heat, the fluffy black hair of her pussy carrying a moist sheen.
Sweat-slicked, gleaming pale skin — she looked like a marble statue. Jia caught her breath for a moment like that, glancing down across her own sweat-drenched nakedness. In contrast to her cold, expressionless face, her voluptuous body radiated a ripe, mature allure in the midsummer heat.
From the driver's seat, Minjun caught a glimpse of her in the side mirror, then looked away. Jia was exposing her naked body to him without any particular hesitation or shame, but even as a married couple, he figured staring openly while she changed would only make her uncomfortable.
I just want to get this over with and go home.
Jia let out a short sigh and picked up the black battle suit. The battle suit had to be worn with nothing underneath, which was why she needed to be completely naked. The combat gear she'd pulled out was a one-piece black suit made of a special hunter-grade material, clinging to the body like latex. The functional fabric conducted mana efficiently and dispersed impact — but more than anything, it emphasized the wearer's figure without a single millimeter of slack.
"...Hah. This sweat's making it impossible to get on."
She forced the suit up from her legs, and the fabric caught on her sweat-slicked thighs and ass, then slid into place with a clinging seal. It snagged at her waist; Jia frowned and hauled it up with a grunt of effort. The moment it covered her breasts, the wet flesh compressed inside the suit, a tight, stifling sensation. She knew it was just the nature of the functional material, but in her current state it was far from pleasant.
A single-layer suit that clung to the body like a second skin looked flimsy at a glance, but for Jia — an A-Rank hunter with combat ability beyond imagination — it was the best possible battle dress. Her body itself was essentially a weapon, so the priority was functionality that didn't hinder her movement.
Once the suit was fully on, Jia was lethal in an entirely different way than she'd been naked. The thin, elastic black fabric sealed against her skin without a whisper of slack, packaging her body as if it had been gift-wrapped for display. Her full, heavy breasts strained against the fabric as if they might burst free, the shape of her nipples standing out in stark relief; even a slight movement carried a sense of weight and pressure in the way they swayed. Her already-narrow waist was cinched even tighter by the elastic fabric, and below it her plump ass was emphasized in lush, spreading curves — from behind, the line of her was so sensual it was hard to breathe. The suit gripped her thighs and calves just as tautly, flaunting the spring of her flesh with every shift.
Because she'd put it on while still soaked in sweat, the inside of the suit was already damp, and that moisture glued the latex even tighter to her skin, producing a glossy sheen. Rather than containing Jia's figure, the elastic black latex laid every curve, every ounce of weight, every spring of flesh even more blatantly, more seductively bare.
Minjun said nothing as he looked at Jia in that sensual suit. He only felt his throat go bone-dry, and a heavy heat kindle low in his gut. It was just a single layer of black latex wrapped around Jia's body — and yet this was not the wife he was used to seeing. Those heavy breasts strained as if they might split the suit open; the cinch of her waist and the lush flare of her ass were laid out with shameless clarity. His eyes kept being pulled there.
...Is this really my wife?
They'd been married for years now, and Minjun had thought he'd grown used to Jia's beauty and her body. But the moment she put on that suit, she stopped feeling like the wife he knew and started feeling like a voluptuous female animal. Over the familiar face of Jia, the body of an extremely sensual female seemed to overlay itself. They were about to go into combat, and still an instinctive urge flickered through his mind — the urge to peel that suit off her.
Functional or not, Minjun had known for a long time that that suit-style battle dress made Jia's body even more alluring. Jia in her combat gear was so attractive it was hard to breathe.
"You change too. Hurry up."
Sensing that Minjun was staring blankly at her in the suit, Jia told him to get changed already.
"...Ah. Right."
Minjun, who'd been sitting there like an idiot, completely lost in Jia's sensual allure, snapped back to himself at the sound of her cold voice, answered, and started changing.
He first pulled the thick metal protectors from the side rack and strapped them on. The defensive plates were heavy pieces covering his shoulders, chest, abdomen, and thighs. Forged from a composite of special metals and reinforced fiber, they didn't just defend against a monster's direct attacks — they also provided resistance against elemental assaults like lightning, fire, and frost. On top of that he slung the monster-grade grenade launcher across his back and took the Monster Detector in hand. The total weight of the gear was considerable. An ordinary person would have struggled just to move.
But Minjun, C-Rank though he was, had physical enhancement abilities. He could feel the weight, but not enough to hinder him in a fight.
Jia picked up her spear and opened the van's rear door. Her back, sheathed in the black suit, was laid bare in the sunlight. The line of her spine ran long and gleaming, wet with sweat.
Minjun opened the passenger-side door and stepped out. The air of the Abandoned Village was hot and dry. Ironically, though, after the broken-AC oven of the van, the breeze actually felt a little cooler.
Jia straightened her back, spear in hand, and stood in the sunlight of the Abandoned Village — her cold, sharp beauty and her extremely voluptuous body forming a strange, striking harmony.
Minjun switched on the Monster Detector and watched the screen. It began to register a faint response. It was a simple device — it just sensed the mana-wave emissions of nearby monsters and estimated their distance. No other real functions; a relatively cheap, budget model. All it gave you was the detected mana-wave readings and an estimated range. But Minjun had years of special-forces experience, and he was skilled with the detector. He walked a few paces in a slow circle, detector in hand, and from the numbers flickering across the screen alone he could already guess where the monsters were.
Minjun indicated the direction to Jia with a glance, and at the same time flashed a number sign with his other hand. It was their signal for the monsters' direction and distance. Jia understood and nodded. After so long as partners, that was more than enough to pass the information between them.
Monsters had senses sharper than any beast, and some of them possessed a high degree of intelligence. They were still far enough that conversation wouldn't carry — but both of them were veteran hunters, and caution on a hunt was a habit carved into their bones.
