Completion Afterword
Hello.
I’m Cheongwolheon, an aspiring writer—no, the author—who wrote It Started as WGM Content, but My Partner Meant It Seriously.
Before I get into the afterword for the completed novel, though, I’d like to talk a little about Cheongwolheon the person, not the writer.
The year 2025 was full of twists and turns for me.
On the smaller end of things, there was quitting my job, getting scammed, and family discord. On the larger end, there were things that happened to relatives of mine, as well as an unexpected goodbye to someone who had been a tremendous source of support for me.
I’ve written it that simply above, but in truth, so many things happened that I couldn’t possibly put them all into words.
How should I put it? In some strange way, it felt almost amazing that a person could get hit with this much bad luck all at once. Honestly, I never thought so many things could pile up at the same time like this...
In fact, there are still many things that haven’t been resolved. And yet, the fact that you’re reading this now must mean I somehow made it through.
I want to take this chance to say that I’m sorry, and grateful, to the readers who became my support when I was struggling.
Thank you so much. Because of all of you, one person was able to find the strength to come this far.

That was the story of Cheongwolheon the person, and below is the story of Cheongwolheon the author.
As many of you probably guessed, the inspiration for It Started as WGM Content, but My Partner Meant It Seriously was the story of “a boy who resembled the sky at its bluest” and “a girl who resembled a puppy.”
I didn’t copy their story outright. It started more as my own daydream: what if a sweet WGM relationship ended up as a real one?
But since this was the first web novel I ever wrote in my life, looking back now, there are so many things I didn’t manage to do the way I wanted.
As you probably noticed while reading, I mixed a lot of things together, left plenty of setups unrepaid, and there were other parts that just felt off... In the end, it was a story full of mistakes, rough around the edges and left as it was.
And yet, thanks to the readers who enjoyed it, I was able to make it this far. Thank you.
I already have a few ideas for side stories. After some time has passed since the ending, I think I’ll probably write and upload them then.
And the release schedule. I have nothing to say. I’m sorry.
Just when it seemed to be going well, I vanished without a word for a week. Then, just when it seemed to be going well again, I disappeared for three days in a week too—well, those three days did have their reasons, but still...
And after that, as you could tell from the notices, there were all those accumulated shortcuts taken from breaks and rests...
Looking at it now, even I think it was ridiculous. You can’t just stop going to work because you feel like you’re about to lose your mind over private matters, after all.
So I at least resolved that I wouldn’t fall behind during the final week, and though it was a small thing, I kept that promise.
To the readers who were disappointed by my frequent hiatuses, and to those who still stuck with me anyway, I offer my deepest apologies.
My next work... I haven’t thought about it yet. Maybe a harem story, if anything?
To be honest, I’ve even wondered whether it’s right for someone in my unstable state to keep writing at all.
Still, if I ever do write again someday, I’d like to come back with the side stories for this work, and with something more diligent and better written.
