Harang Noona's Dress Slipped Down
I let out an involuntary sigh of admiration. I'd thought Harang noona would suggest a kiss before heading into the room, but here she was, scheming to get Yeoreum noona drunk.
Separate from my surprise, curiosity bubbled up. Feeding her alcohol? Sure, she was an adult, not a kid. But what for?
"Feeding her's fine, but what's the plan?"
Half curiosity, half thrilled by her secretive plotting, I asked noona.
Her answer was simple.
"Yeoreum's a lightweight. A little and she'll pass out fast."
"Yeah."
"Tuck her in and kiss."
"……."
It wasn't some grand scheme. Harang noona's motives were always straightforward. We hadn't kissed today, so she'd put Yeoreum noona to sleep and make up for it. A modest goal that threw me off a bit, but not a bad one. I'd been feeling the lack all day anyway. Plus, maybe I'd witness the drunken rants about Yeoreum noona that I'd only heard tales of.
No reason to sabotage the plan.
"Sounds good! Let's do it!"
"Yeah."
However.
"Ugh, what booze! I'm not drinking!"
Harang noona's plot to get Yeoreum noona boozed up hit a snag right from the start. Yeoreum noona recoiled in disgust.
She'd agreed instantly to my idea of buying food and eating quietly in the hotel room instead of dealing with the crowded beachgoers outside. But while we'd ordered chicken and were picking drinks at the nearby convenience store, she flat-out rejected Harang noona's subtle booze suggestion.
Of course, it wasn't unsolvable. She seemed airtight, but we weren't strangers after all these years. She knew us well, and we knew her just as well.
"It's been ages since we hit the beach, just us three. Let's get in the mood and have a drink."
"I'd join if I were old enough. Can't I just sip?"
"Kang Gyeol, touch booze and you're dead!"
"I'm not drinking. I'll stick to cola—you two enjoy. Sipping on the balcony table sounds classy. View from the room's killer."
"Just a little."
"Booze is really not my thing…."
Just us three. Vacation vibes. Killer hotel view. Hit her with that sentimental angle, and Yeoreum noona folds. I chimed in as hype man.
Sure enough, she furrowed her brow, pondering. She could've caved right away, but that much hesitation meant she truly hated the taste. If it tasted good, no dilemma.
"Fruit soju? You liked that cocktail we shared before."
"Similar taste?"
"They say it's more juice than booze."
"Hmm…."
Sensing her hang-up, Harang noona—uncharacteristically chatty—pushed sincerely. The vibe screamed 90% sold. Seizing the moment, she tossed a few fruit sojus and two beers into the basket.
Fruit soju did sound intriguing. Booze without the booze taste? Anyway, Yeoreum noona didn't stop her.
Glancing sideways, I pretended nonchalance, adding my cola. "Noona, can I grab a few more snacks?"
"…Get 'em."
She eyed the basket—loaded with booze—with distaste. I snatched our usual snacks quick, then rushed to checkout before she changed her mind. Paid with Harang noona's card, added salmon sashimi to the pre-ordered chicken, and headed back.
In the room, we prepped fast. Two single beds flanked a glass door to the balcony and a table. We spread food out, opened the door. Cool sea breeze rushed in; vast night ocean stretched before us. Perfect vibe.
Yeoreum noona, grumpy on the way back, now took charge, arranging bottles around the grub. Prep done.
"Cheers~"
Clink!
Three glasses of cola collided. Starting with booze felt off, so drinks first.
"Vinyl gloves? Figured you'd need 'em—grabbed some."
"Good call. One for me."
"Harang noona?"
"Me too."
Gloved up, we dug into chicken and greasy snacks. Huddled in matching outfits, it was kinda funny. Seafoam-blue similar looks we'd coordinated before. Not on the way in—post-shower. Blue screamed beach vacay. And Yeoreum noona seemed thrilled, bonus.
"Crowd outside was nuts. Better in here, right?"
"Sardined in people? Hell no."
"Gyeol. Wing here."
"Thanks. Leg for you, noona."
"Thanks."
Harang noona passed me a wing—she knew I preferred them. I hooked her a drumstick. Set one aside for Yeoreum noona.
Truth? I started liking wings over drumsticks as a kid, after learning chickens only had two legs. Yielded to noonas. Not pure kindness—just stubborn kid logic. Be manly, share! Stuck to wings, grew to love 'em. Fewer rivals too—easy monopoly.
As we shared and bantered, mood mellowed. Harang noona and I exchanged glances. Obvious as hell, but whatever. I stepped away, pulled two wrapped gifts from my bag. Knew the room split, so packed hers too.
Back at the table, Yeoreum noona sipped her drink, fidgety despite playing cool. As always, I hyped it up for quiet Harang noona.
"Yeoreum noona! Happy birthday!"
"Happy birthday, Yeoreum."
"Ahem. Thanks, both."
Seventh year straight. Awkward but comfy. She took the gift gingerly, beaming like always.
"Open now?"
"…Nah. At home."
Tucked it in her bag. It was more about the gesture than the stuff.
"Yeoreum. Here."
Then, devilish timing—Harang noona offered her glass. Screamed time to drink. Knowing the plan, I was impressed. Even outsiders would've caved; for Yeoreum noona, no chance.
Predictably, smiling wide, she took it.
Clink.
She poured for Harang noona, who reciprocated.
"You're really drinking till you drop? You suggested it."
"Just a little."
"A little my ass! Down it!"
Harang noona—not serious—deadpanned back, raising her glass.
"Cheers!"
Everything per plan. Too per plan, problem.
"Kang Gyeouuul! You jerk! How much do I do for youuu!"
"I know, I know. Always grateful to you, noona."
"You know and still! Always after Harang!"
"If you were just a tad nicer…"
"Shut uup!"
After they'd downed a fruit soju and a beer each amid the rowdy chat, I saw the "honest" drunk Yeoreum noona Harang noona described. Would've been fine if she wasn't clinging to my clothes, whining at me from the next seat.
"Since we were kids! Harang! Harang! That into Harang?!"
"Like you too, noona."
"Still! You can't do me like that! Earlier! Smooching Harang!"
"Sorryyy~"
"Apologize right!"
"Yesss~"
Fun at first, then annoying—half-assed replies. Clung tight, booze breath mixing, head spinning. Cute from afar, but as her brother? Embarrassing.
Thud!Pour, glug!
"Aigoo."
Too risky at the table—moved to floor. She slammed her glass, self-pouring. Spilled a third. I sighed, wiped with tissue, cleaned up. She chugged fruit soju boldly.
Gulp, gulp!
"This is actually good~ Tasty!"
"Yeah… Glad you like it, noona…."
Birthday… Her birthday… Self-soothing, I glanced at Harang noona for backup.
She'd been puffing cheeks at clingy Yeoreum noona. Wanted to cling herself, but held back—birthday and all. But she'd gone quiet. Only occasional sips.
Now, her eyes locked on me, drinking. Eyes seemed vacant? Chilling stare—I averted mine.
Then.
"…Sleepy. Bedtime."
"Whoa! Noona! Not on the floor! Bed's right there—crawl over! Please!!"
"Annoying…."
Not late, but booze hit—Yeoreum noona yawned. Grabbed her before floor flop, huffed her to the bed. Not fully out; she mumbled, crawled in, lay down.
"Ugh…."
Sober me groaned in agony. Blanketed her roughly, checked eyes shut, turned to Harang noona.
Sat beside, stopped her. Looked like she'd outdrunk Yeoreum noona. Worried she'd crash mid-touch.
"Noona. Maybe ease up on the…"
Thud!
"Uh…"
Spring up!
Before I finished, Harang noona stood—like Yeoreum noona earlier—slamming glass.
Loomed over seated me, silent. Face.
"……."
Flushed beet red. Wasted, obvious. We're screwed, I sighed inwardly.
Then her arm moved.
Slide.
Hand on one shoulder, slipped seafoam sleeveless dress strap down.
Hand to other shoulder, slipped that strap too.
Shh, sliiide!
No straps holding it—dress pooled at her feet.
Leaving Harang noona.
"……."
"N-Noona…"
In just white bra and panties.
Staring down at me.
