University Festival - Part 2
This was the first university festival of my life.
And it was probably going to be the worst festival of my life as well.
"Na… Naye…"
"Stop drinking already! You've had way too much…"
"Don't touch me."
"Okay…"
"Sorry…"
Eunsol's friends tried to stop her, but it was completely useless. She politely handed back the bottle they'd taken, only for Lee Naye to snatch it right back and pour the liquor straight down her throat instead of into a glass.
In the end, I had to step in.
"Hey, what the hell are you doing chugging straight from the bottle?!"
"……"
"I didn't do anything..!"
"Bastard."
"……"
She was drunk. Her eyes still burned with murderous intent like she was completely sober, but only I—her friend of thirteen years—could tell they were just slightly unfocused.
Naye wasn't the only one I had to worry about, though.
"Why are you sucking on that!!"
"Soli wants to drink too!!"
"These absolute disasters, seriously..!!"
I yanked the empty soju bottle away from Eunsol, who had been noisily sucking on the one Naye had already drained. If they got any drunker, there was no way I could handle them alone. I couldn't exactly ask the other girls for help either, and the thought of leaving a wasted Naye or Eunsol with some other guy was even worse.
"Sol-ah! Eat this!"
"Wow~ Sausage~~"
That part went well enough. One of Eunsol's friends timed it perfectly, bringing over some snacks and successfully diverting her attention.
The problem was that mouth of hers.
"Sunwoo's is tasty too…"
"……"
"Don't get the wrong idea. The one in my mouth. The one from earlier!"
"W-who said anything..? Phew…."
Eunsol's friend turned bright red, fanned herself with her hand, and fled the scene. Still, it was a relief. She'd muttered it under her breath, so only the friend who'd brought the snacks had heard.
I confirmed it once again with this opportunity.
You must never give Eunsol alcohol.
"Fuck…!"
"Fuck??"
What now?!
I turned my head to find Park Seongmin standing there with a bottle in one hand, nose flushed red, half-lidded eyes fixed on me as he cursed.
"Bastard. Bad bastard. Trash. Harem heaven, solo hell."
"What the hell is wrong with you!!!"
"I want a girlfriend too!!!!!"
"……"
I finally understood why the Ministry of Education banned selling alcohol at festivals.
It was all because of absolute disasters like these.
In the end, I had no choice but to send out an SOS. Just how long was he going to take to get here?!
"This fucking world!!! Harem heaven!! Solo hell!!!!!"
"Sausage~~ Sunwoo sausage~~ Sunwoo ah~~~"
"Give me more booze."
"Na… Naye… that's enough…"
"More."
"Here…"
"……"
Next to me, Park Seongmin was yelling his head off. Eunsol, nestled in my arms, was rubbing a heavily seasoned sausage against my lips. Over there, Lee Naye was still chugging straight from the bottle.
The university festival I'd dreamed of wasn't supposed to be like this… it really wasn't…
"Everyone just stop already!!!!!"
In the end, those disasters forced us to shut down the stall. Feeling guilty, I transferred a million won to their account, then waited with the patience of an enlightened monk until the rescue team I'd called finally arrived.
"Was it good? Bastard. Bad bastard."
"……"
"Sunwoo sausage~~ eat one more~~"
"……"
"Sob… sob sob… I like sausages too… I want to try kissing too… sob sob…"
"……"
This too shall pass.
And the ones who would regret today weren't me—it was these disasters.
"Hey, can we talk for a second?"
"……"
The two male students who'd pushed the tables together earlier called me out separately. From the way they were walking, they'd had a bit to drink themselves. But why did they want to see me?
"How far are we going?"
"Ah… fuck…"
One scratched his head while cursing. The other turned and strode right up to me.
"Hey."
"What?"
"You playing the field?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Soli's pure, so you're stringing her along while you mess around, huh. Know your limits, you bastard..!"
"Childhood friends or whatever—we can't stand watching that shit! This is a warning, got it?!"
Looks like they were guys who liked Eunsol. Even rivals would join forces the moment a common enemy appeared—that was just the natural order of things.
"You guys like Soli?"
"W-what's it to you?!"
"What business is it of yours?! You're not even dating her! We heard everything from the others!"
"Yeah, so… why are you two, who aren't even dating her, butting in and making a fuss? I'm already in a bad mood from the festival getting ruined."
"This bastard's really..!"
"You wanna go with us?!"
They even grabbed my collar. It was annoying, but I didn't throw punches carelessly over something like this. I wasn't that immature of a human being.
Still, good timing. He'd just arrived.
"What's this? Getting ganged up on?"
"You're early."
"Y-you, who the hell are you?!"
"Looks like a friend, so don't interfere and go your way. This is our problem."
"No intention of interfering. I just want to watch him get beat up, so continue what you were doing~"
"Don't interfere and leave!!"
"I said I have no intention of interfering, you bastard."
"….S-sorry…"
It was dark at night. Unlike the lit-up area over there, the unlit parking lot was even darker. So I only saw it when a car pulled in just now—the tattoos covering Geum Gangsan's body, his neck, his arms.
"Fucking bastard keeps whining and making a fuss. Noisy as hell. Just do what you were doing, you son of a bitch."
"P-please spare me!!"
"Aaaaah!!!"
One screamed and ran. The other covered his face with both arms while still being collared and begged for his life.
"Stop joking around. He's gonna piss himself at this rate."
"Tch… I was looking forward to watching you get beat up."
"If you want to see it that bad, why don't you do it yourself?"
"Hold on. There's a golf club in the trunk. I'll grab it real quick."
"This bastard, at your age, being a coward..!"
"Just kidding, man~ But why'd you call me today?"
"First let go of that. He looks like he wants to leave."
"Should I let go?"
"P-p-please… please…"
"Chicken shit. Go~"
"Aaaaah!!!"
Geum Gangsan lightly patted the guy's cheek a few times and released his collar. The male student fled without looking back.
A little later, when Geum Gangsan and I arrived at the booth where we'd finished business, those two male students quickly hid behind the girls.
"Th-this person is..?"
"Someone I know."
"Wow~ how are there so many beauties?"
"Beauties..?"
"Eek!!"
"W-why are you doing that..?"
"Don't look at me like that! It's too dazzling!!"
"Pfft!!"
"Hahaha~ what~ you're a really fun person~"
"Eek! The light's here too..! Hey, Cha Sunwoo! Did you call me here to blind me?!"
"……"
Surprisingly, Geum Gangsan clicked well with Eunsol's friends. Only the guys were intimidated by the tattoos on his arms and neck and his slightly fierce face and kept their distance. The girls, on the other hand, touched the tattoos themselves and treated him without any reservation.
"Anyway, why really did you call me?"
"A friend got drunk. Called you to take him home."
"Sunwoo-ya~~~~ Uung… where did you go! Soli was looking for you… hehe~"
"Huh?? Eunsol??"
"Uung..? Who are you..?"
"It's me, me! Geum Gangsan!!"
"Uung…. Soli doesn't know…"
"Why don't you know? The thug senior from middle school."
"Haha… Naye's still the same…"
"Ah! I remember!! The senior who tried to bully our Sunwoo and got beat up until his nose bled!!"
"That's my dark history…"
"Wow~ Sunwoo won a fight??"
"What is it, oppa~ You said you carried Sunwoo on your back through school—was that a lie?"
"Th-that's… that's because you don't know this guy's true identity! The delinquents this bastard has beaten up alone… Mmph!! Mmmph!!!"
"Shut up and just take my friend..!"
"Ptooey ptooey!! Why are you covering my mouth with your dirty hand and making a fuss?! But I'm scared of Naye. I'll take Soli home."
Leaving a fish with a cat. The friend of mine to leave with Geum Gangsan wasn't Naye or Eunsol.
"Uung~ neither. Take that guy."
I pointed my finger somewhat downward. At the end of it was Park Seongmin, face-down on the floor, throwing up.
"Uweeeeeek!!!!!"
"….I'm leaving."
"I put the fee in."
"This fucking..! Get up, customer! Stop throwing up, you bastard… no, customer!!"
Park Seongmin was taken home by Geum Gangsan in his car, and I was on my way home too—Eunsol in my left arm, Lee Naye in my right.
"Sunwoo-yaa~~ Sunwoo-yaaaa~~"
"Trash… bad bastard… bastard…."
"Haa… my fate…"
Eunsol clung so hard it was difficult to walk, while Naye kept sagging downward. Even walking normally took ten minutes, but grunting and struggling, I barely made it home.
"What is this…"
"I'm sorry. Explanation tomorrow..!"
"Aaaang~~"
"Trash…"
"Please just go up already..!!!"
Without even being able to explain to the startled Yun Jiyeon, I went up the stairs. I stopped by Eunsol's room first since it was closer, then Naye's, and with a body that was exhausted but lighter, I entered my own room.
Thud—
I flopped right onto the bed. I should take off my clothes and wash up, but I had no strength left. I just wanted to sleep like this. My eyes were closing hard.
But why was the door opening…
"Uung.. Soli wants to sleep with Sunwoo…."
"……"
Without permission, Eunsol lay down next to me. Then she clung on as if hanging, wrapping her arms and legs tightly around my torso. Too lazy to peel her off. I just wanted to sleep.
Yeah, just sleep.
"Trash…"
"Ah.. not again.. sob…"
Now I was on the verge of tears. The door opened again, and this time Lee Naye came in. How had a girl who couldn't even control her body just a moment ago gotten here…
"I knew it would be like this.. bastard…"
"She just came in on her own.. and please stop.. at this rate I'm gonna die…"
"Naye.. hehe… Naye wants to sleep together too~"
"You stop saying nonsense..!!"
"Eunsol, you declared war."
"Uung..? What declaration of war from Soli~?"
"Doing that in front of everyone…! Then it looks like you're Sunwoo's girlfriend!!"
"Lower your voice..!"
"You shut up. You bad bastard."
"……"
"So I'm going to declare war too. Right in front of you, Soli."
"Uung..?"
Lee Naye climbed over the exhausted me and the tilting Eunsol to the end of the bed against the wall. Then she grabbed my face with both hands and turned it so I was looking at her.
"What are you trying to…"
"Uung… mmph…"
"Uung!!! Don't!! Naye don't!!! Stop iiiit!!!"
Lee Naye kissed me right then and there, and while pushing away Eunsol's face—who was trying to separate us—with one hand, she stuck her tongue in. After about a minute of kissing, she pulled away on her own.
"Haa.. haa.. haa…"
"Uuuuung!!! I hate Naye! Sunwoo likes Soli!!"
"I like him too."
"Uung..?"
"I said I like him too."
"Naye…"
"So from now on, don't declare war. If you do, I'll do the exact same."
It was a face of pure shock. Eunsol, who had plopped down next to me, didn't say anything for a while. She just stared blankly at the wall.
And then she said,
"Soli likes him more than Naye. Sunwoo likes Soli way more!!!"
"No way! I like him a lot too?!"
"Soli likes him lots lots lots lots lots lots lots!!"
"I also like him lots lots lots lots lots lots lots lots.. hey! Eunsol!!!"
"Mmph.. mmph… mmph…"
This time Eunsol grabbed my face and kissed me. A surprised Naye tried to pull her off, but Eunsol stubbornly held on and wouldn't let go.
Fine… do as you please…
Well, for now, I was enjoying it.
