Lee Naye Approaches the Truth - 1
A few days ago I opened a brand-new phone line.
Neither Eunsol nor Lee Naye knows this number.
The only person who does is Yun Jiyeon, who sends me photos every single day.
Yun Jiyeon photographs the house after she finishes cleaning and sends the pictures over; I check them and reply that she can leave for the day.
I told her there was no need for any of it, yet she insisted that someone ought to confirm the work was done, and so she created this bothersome little ritual all by herself.
"Let's see… she should be arriving any minute now."
By public transit the trip takes about thirty minutes. On a bicycle it shrinks to ten or fifteen. That is why Yun Jiyeon bikes to and from work every day, and why I come downstairs to the living room at exactly that hour.
Seeing each other face-to-face often enough might finally loosen the awkwardness and embarrassment between us, even if only a little.
"You're here?"
"…Sunwoo, I already told you. Please leave this house."
"What about dinner? The fridge is empty. Want to go grocery shopping together?"
"Sunwoo!"
This pointless standoff has been repeating for days. Tonight I intend to end it. Over a drink I will persuade her to forget what happened that night and go back to the easy way we used to live.
"Then buy me a drink."
"D-drinking is out of the question! That… that is absolutely not allowed…"
"Why not? You're about to throw me out with nowhere to go. The least you can do is throw a farewell party. Otherwise I'm not leaving."
"Sunwoo…! You don't even need to live in a place like this…"
"What do you mean?"
"You're rich enough to buy whole buildings… There's no reason for you to stay in a boarding house…"
"Rich people aren't allowed to board?"
"That's not what I—!"
"Besides, buying that building cleaned me out. I'm broke. And there isn't a single empty room left near the school."
"R-really…?"
Of course it's a lie. There are plenty of rooms, and I still have money. But I need to lay this much groundwork if I'm going to talk her around. A white lie with zero malice.
"So… after the farewell party… where will you go…?"
"I'll tough it out at a nearby jjimjilbang until I find a room."
"……"
"Bothered by that? Should I just keep living here?"
"Absolutely not!!"
"Wow… harsh…"
"I'm sorry… but please understand my position… Instead, I'll throw you a farewell party tonight… Then you'll leave tomorrow, right…?"
"I'll think about it."
"Sunwoo…!"
"First, the party."
"…Fine… But drinking alone together is not allowed… We'll do it when Soli and Naye get home…"
That would make it nearly impossible to bring up that night. I tried several more times, but she refused to budge on the two of us drinking alone. Was she afraid of another "accident" like last time?
In the end we never left the house. We simply waited for Eunsol and Lee Naye to finish work and held the farewell party right here at the table.
"No! Soli doesn't want Sunwoo to leave!!"
"Why all of a sudden?"
"Something came up."
"I don't care about 'something'! If Sunwoo goes, Soli's going with him!"
"S-Soli…!"
"I'm going too."
"You too?"
"I can't just send the two of you off alone… as Soli's guardian, I'd be too worried…"
Soli's guardian? You mean her watchdog, right?
Under my suspicious stare Lee Naye hastily averted her eyes and lifted her already-filled glass.
"Anyway, we're going together! We've been together since we were kids…"
"Together?? One of us has to—ack!!"
"Sunwoo, what's wrong…?"
"……"
"N-nothing… haha… My leg just cramped all of a sudden… I'm fine now."
The moment I twisted her old "choose one of us" line back at her, she kicked me square in the shin. That little viper kicks a guy and doesn't even change her expression…! It hurts like hell…!!
"W-wait a second…! If Soli and Naye leave as well…"
She'll be short on money. The mortgage interest alone is 3.4 million won a month. This might actually work itself out without me having to force anything.
"I'm sorry… but Soli can't live without Sunwoo!"
"I'm Soli's guardian, so…"
"Haaa…"
Yun Jiyeon let out a hollow sigh, started to raise her glass, then set it back down.
"You're not drinking?"
"No…"
"Why not?"
"That is none of your business, Sunwoo!!"
"Auntie…?"
"……"
"Ah…! I'm sorry…"
Yun Jiyeon, who had raised her voice more than I had, apologized to the even more startled Eunsol and Naye, then hung her head low. Her mind must be overflowing with worries right now.
Will she find new boarders? Does she even have enough left to refund Eunsol's and Naye's rent along with mine? No—Eunsol and Naye are volunteering to leave, so maybe she doesn't have to refund them? All those thoughts must be tangled up inside her.
"Sunwoo… can't you just stay…? Soli's gotten close to Auntie… and to Sua too…"
"That's not something I get to decide."
"Huh?? If Sunwoo doesn't decide, who does??"
While Eunsol tilted her head in confusion, Lee Naye's gaze shot straight to Yun Jiyeon, who wore an awkward expression. The girl is way too sharp for her own good.
And why is she looking back and forth so frantically? After staring hard at Yun Jiyeon sitting right beside her, Naye started whipping her head around to check my face across the table as well. Don't tell me she's already figured it out…?
"S-Sunwoo…! Can I talk to you for a moment…"
"Sure."
"Excuse us for a second…"
I followed Yun Jiyeon out to the living room.
"Sunwoo…"
"Yes."
"Please persuade Soli and Naye… I'm begging you…"
"I can try, but it probably won't work. Like Naye said, we've been together since we were little. They hate being apart."
"……"
"If it's too much trouble, I could always stay."
"That…!! Is not allowed…"
"Then there's nothing I can do. I'll try talking to them, but don't get your hopes up."
"W-wait…"
I heard her call after me, but I simply returned to the kitchen table. Sitting down, I deliberately raised my voice and pretended to persuade Eunsol and Naye. Of course neither of them so much as pretended to listen.
Out in the living room Yun Jiyeon fretted her thumbs together while she eavesdropped; when my "persuasion" produced zero results she heaved a deep sigh and came back to her seat.
"Ugh…!"
The moment she sat she drained her glass in one shot. After two empty bottles had piled up without her taking a single sip, Yun Jiyeon suddenly went on a rampage, knocking back drink after drink.
"Take it slow…"
"Soli will get you some side dishes—ah! I-I'm so sorry!"
"…It's fine…"
Eunsol had been offering a piece of spicy stir-fried octopus with her chopsticks when she accidentally dropped it. Startled, she jumped up and began wiping the fallen food with a tissue—unfortunately right across Yun Jiyeon's chest.
"Oh no… it keeps spreading… hiiing… I'm really sorry…"
"S-Soli…! It's okay… I'll do it myself… euk…!"
What was that sound just now? She was only wiping up dropped octopus, yet a distinctly lewd little noise slipped out. Eunsol and Naye seemed not to notice, but I heard it clearly. Memories of that night flooded back, and every time Eunsol's hand moved and those breasts jiggled, blood rushed downward.
"I'll take over now, Soli!"
"Ah… okay…"
"Excuse me a moment—bathroom…"
Yun Jiyeon sprang up far too abruptly and bolted for the bathroom. A dejected Eunsol plopped back down beside me.
"Soli messed up again… I mess up at the café every day too… Maybe Soli's just a real idiot…"
"You're just a little scatterbrained, not an idiot. Idiots don't get into our school."
"Sunwoo…"
Grateful for the comfort, Eunsol hugged my arm and crushed her large breasts against it. Ah, I'm going crazy. The place that had already stiffened because of Yun Jiyeon was now hard enough to punch through my pants.
"Eunsol, let go."
"No. Soli likes Sunwoo."
"I said let go…!!"
"Uuung…!!!"
Lee Naye half-rose, leaned forward, and forced her hand between my shoulder and Eunsol's face until she finally pried us apart.
"Naye's mean."
"Eunsol, are you going to do this at school too? When you make close friends, are you going to hug just anyone?"
"Sunwoo isn't just anyone! And Soli doesn't like any boys except Sun—heong!"
"Eunsol…?"
"Huh??"
"What was that just now…?"
"W-what? Soli d-doesn't know…?"
"……"
I feel like a complete pervert doing this right now, but with her pressed against me I simply cannot keep my hands still. Our faces and bodies are separated, yet Eunsol is still clinging to my arm. My left arm is trapped between her two arms and her chest, dangling downward, and my hand is resting right against her sex.
Slick—slick—slick—
I rubbed my fingers over her, stimulating her through the fabric.
"Euu…!"
"What is actually wrong with you??"
"I-it's spicy… the octopus is too… haa…!! Spicy… haa…! Hahk…!!"
She hugged my arm tighter, clamped her thighs together, and curled in on herself. My hand, which had been rubbing over her pants, had already slipped inside her panties.
Squelch—
She was soaked. On the rare occasions I had teased her like this while Naye was present, Eunsol always got far wetter than usual. Could that actually be her kink?
"A-are you okay?? Want some milk??"
"Yes…! Milk…! Give me some milk…! Haaah…! Haa…!"
Not only Eunsol—Yun Jiyeon that night had reacted just as violently when I stimulated this same spot and begged me to put it in. The so-called G-spot, the strongest erogenous zone for most women. I kept tormenting Eunsol there without pause until Naye returned from the fridge with the milk; only then did I pull my hand out of her panties.
"Drink it quick!"
"Okay… haaaa…"
After a long exhale Eunsol gulped down the milk, then answered Naye's worried questions with a dopey smile and a nod.
"Thanks, Naye~ heehee."
"You scared me! Did you bite a chili pepper or something?"
"Uuung… a different kind of chili came in…"
"A different chili??"
"I must've eaten a clump of seasoning~ heehee."
"Haaa…"
Naye sighed for an entirely different reason than Eunsol had a moment earlier, put the leftover milk back in the fridge, and in that brief window I reclaimed the arm Eunsol was still hugging.
Sunwoo's mean… You teased Soli again while Naye was here…
It's because I like Soli so much.
Still… it's embarrassing in front of Naye…
"What secret conversation are you two having?"
"Just stuff."
"Yep! Just stuff, Naye~ heehee~"
"…Let go of him."
"Uuung…!!"
This time Eunsol tried to wrap her arms around my neck; Naye struggled free of her, shoved her into the seat she herself had just vacated, and claimed the spot beside me.
If I hadn't grown up with these two from childhood, no amount of money would ever have produced a situation like this.
"Why that face? Don't like me sitting next to you?"
"Sunwoo says he hates it! Switch back right now!!"
"I don't hate it."
"You heard him?"
"Uuung…!!!!"
"Sorry I was gone so long."
Yun Jiyeon returned from the bathroom and the drinking resumed. By now she was putting away a fair amount herself. Then Kim Sua came home from practice.
"Mom, you're drinking again?!"
"Well, Sunwoo oppa is leaving now, so…"
"I told you not to drink!!!"
"Sua…"
"When Mom drinks she moans and groans in pain every night!"
"W-when did Mom ever…!!"
"I heard everything!"
"No, Sua! You misunderstood!"
"Tsk…! Is it because of oppa that you're drinking today?"
"Uh… yeah, it is because of me…"
"Don't make my mom drink. I hate it when she's in pain… Please…"
"Got it. I'm sorry."
"Then I'm going to my room…"
"Okay, Sua… Mom won't drink anymore…!"
She moans and groans when she drinks? That didn't seem to be the case… Then again, I wasn't beside her until morning. Her daughter, who has lived with her the whole time, would know far better than I do. And I sat that same woman down and suggested we drink…
"Then let's wrap this up and clean. Auntie, you go on in. We'll finish up and go to bed."
"Yeah~ we'll handle it."
"Yes! Soli can't cook, but she's great at dishes! Sometimes I break a plate… but I'll try extra hard not to break any this time!"
"Th-then… please take care of it…"
Yun Jiyeon went to her room first. We cleaned the kitchen spotlessly, then decided to step outside for a short walk and some fresh air.
"Wooow~~ so cool~~~"
"She's completely wasted."
"Cha Sunwoo."
"Huh??"
While Eunsol, thoroughly drunk, dashed ahead with pure joy, Lee Naye—who had been walking slowly beside me—called me to a stop.
"Something happened between you and Auntie, didn't it? That's why you're leaving the house."
She's a damn ghost. So she really did notice. But I can't just spill the truth. If I do, I might end up a eunuch.
"She just found out I have money."
"And that means…?"
"She said if I have so much money, why am I boarding? I should leave the rooms for students who actually need them."
"Ah… Auntie really is kind…"
"But you."
"Huh?"
"If I leave, are you really going to follow me out?"
"Of course. I can't leave Soli alone with you."
"Have you told Soli yet? That you like me."
"Th-that… not yet… But I'm going to soon! So don't you dare tell her fir—mmph…!! Uuung…"
I covered the lips that were still talking. Wrapping an arm around her waist and back, I pulled her flush against me and shared a deep, tongue-tangling kiss. Of course Eunsol's shouting as she came running forced us to break apart almost immediately.
"W-what was that all of a sudden… Soli might have seen…"
"Because you're cute and I'm grateful."
"What…?"
"Thanks for liking me."
"Th-that doesn't mean you have to kiss me!"
"I did it for you."
"What…?"
"Sunwoo~~~ Naye~~~"
"Over here~"
"Cha Sunwoo, you…!"
"I'll do it again next time."
"Hey!!!"
Naye's furious shout snapped me fully awake.
"Hey! You take Soli and go inside first!"
"Wh-where are you going…? Cha Sunwoo!!!"
"Sunwoo… wow… he's fast…"
I shot past the oncoming Eunsol and sprinted toward Hyehwa Station. There was bound to be one near the station.
"Found it."
What I found was a twenty-four-hour pharmacy.
"Do you have anything for people who feel sick after drinking?"
"For that I recommend this instead of regular hangover cures. These tablets plus this hangover drink work really well together."
"I'll take those. And condoms… one box of these, please."
"A whole box…?"
The more condoms the better. While Naye is out on her dawn jog and everyone else is asleep, I can have sex with Eunsol. Sex that has to finish before Naye—who might return at any moment—comes back. Eunsol, who gets soaking wet the moment Naye is nearby, will probably love it.
I'll just hand these to Yun Jiyeon and then go hide the condoms upstairs.
I set the condom box down in front of her door and picked up the medicine packet I had placed on top of it.
Ah… am I a little late…?
Just as Kim Sua had said, pained sounds were already coming from Yun Jiyeon's room. But this sound…
"Euk…! Heung…! Heung…! Hauk…!! Eu…!"
"……"
That doesn't sound like ordinary pain…?
Don't tell me…
Click—
I carefully turned the handle. Then I pushed the door open just a crack and peered inside.
Bzzzzzzzz…!!!
A trembling vibration. And Yun Jiyeon, hand buried between her thighs, writhing and twisting on the bed.
Thud!!
I was so startled I dropped the medicine packet.
"Wh-who's there!!"
I spun around to flee. And immediately caused another disaster.
Thump!
My foot kicked the condom box I had left by the door. The door flew open and the box tumbled inside, flipping over.
Clatter-rattle-rattle—
Tiny boxes, each containing three condoms—one hundred twenty in total—scattered across the floor.
"S-Sunwoo…? Th-that can't be… mmph!!"
"I'm sorry. I'll explain."
Before I knew it I had closed the door behind me, climbed onto the bed, and covered Yun Jiyeon's mouth with my hand while pinning her down.
