Almost 100 Days. And Couple Items. (1)
The school festival had ended, and a little time had passed. The refreshing spring had gone, and summer arrived with a blazing sun that radiated its presence with full force. After the festival, Yuna’s skinship grew more intense with each passing day. To be precise, while she still distinguished between time and place, whenever the moment for skinship came, she would devour Jihyeok almost ravenously.
Of course, Jihyeok felt that she must really love him this much, and he accepted every single one of Yuna’s affection bombardments. But the intensity was gradually becoming more aggressive… and that fact became crystal clear on the Friday when a holiday was just one day away.
With support from Jiuk and Yoonseo, Jihyeok had instantly created a display shelf, and on it he arranged the three-dimensional geometric shapes he had made during the school festival.
“You really made all of these on the spot?”
“Yeah. Even after seeing them, I still can’t believe it.”
“Did our daughter have this kind of talent…?”
“The eldest son has quick wits, the second son has an exceptional memory, and the youngest daughter has great dexterity… Is there something special about our family?”
As they examined the three-dimensional shapes that Jina had made and assembled, each family member reacted in their own way. Since the comments were almost entirely praise, Jina, hearing herself being complimented, asked again in a pleased voice.
“How are the ones Jina made? Aren’t they cool?”
“They’re neat and tidy without a single flaw. Our daughter really has talent, doesn’t she?”
“Really? Jina has talent?”
“Of course! Dad might have to learn from our Jina.”
“Wow! Jina can teach you anytime!”
“Haha. Then shall we make some together when Dad has time?”
“Yeah!”
Seeing Jina smiling brightly, Jihyeok thought that inviting her to the school festival had been the right decision.
“Jina seems to have gotten hooked on this. If we run out of colored paper, we’ll have to buy more.”
“Our fixed expenses just increased by one more item.”
“What’s the big deal? If my little sister likes it, her big brother should do it for her.”
“That’s true.”
Jihyeok found it fascinating how the materials always appeared whenever he needed them, so he asked out of curiosity about how they were obtained.
“By the way, hyung.”
“What?”
“How does Yoonseo noona manage to get the materials ready every single time I need them?”
“Huh? Oh. I guess I never explained it.”
Jiuk had been about to say, ‘Didn’t I mention it?’ but since Jihyeok—who remembered anything he had seen or heard even once—had asked, Jiuk immediately realized he had never told him.
“Yoonseo’s family runs businesses all over the place. You already know about two of the famous companies in Korea, right?”
“Of course.”
There were companies that specialized in making everyday necessities like cell phones and home appliances. Of course, the ones Jihyeok’s family used were made by the company where their father worked.
“So when we ask Yuna, they usually provide support. Of course, in return for helping us, I occasionally lend a hand at the companies where Yoonseo’s parents work.”
At first, colleagues had suspected he had gotten the job so easily just because he was the boyfriend of their boss’s daughter. But he quickly built up impressive results and constantly provided ideas, which earned him a lot of favor from the higher-ups.
“So don’t worry and just accept the support comfortably. If I end up marrying Yoonseo, we’ll be one family anyway, and Yoonseo wants that too.”
“Okay. Got it.”
While they were talking, the three siblings realized it was time to leave. After finishing their preparations, they said goodbye to their parents at the front door.
“We’re heading out.”
“We’re off to school.”
“Jina too!”
“Alright~ Go safely~”
“Go safely.”
“Yes.”
After saying goodbye to their parents, Jihyeok sent off Jina and Jiuk first since they had farther to go, then naturally waited by the door.
“Boyfriend~ Good morning~”
“Good morning.”
When Yuna came out of the house, she naturally linked her arm with Jihyeok’s. They did this so often now that walking to school arm-in-arm had become almost routine. Anyone who saw Jihyeok and Yuna on their way to school couldn’t help but feel jealous—mostly the male students.
Jihyeok could feel the gazes of the boys staring at Yuna, so he glanced at her outfit. It was the same school uniform that girls from other grades and upperclassmen wore, yet on Yuna it looked strangely different. The skirt reached down to her knees, so there was no issue with the bottom half, but the top was the problem. Perhaps because she had a size comparable to her peers and upperclassmen, every time he looked at Yuna’s face, he saw the ultimate embodiment of femininity that drew men’s eyes.
Yuna, sensing Jihyeok’s gaze, looked around before speaking to him.
“It seems like the male students are staring at me?”
“…As long as you look pretty only to me, that’s enough. Greedy girl.”
“Huh? Boyfriend, are you perhaps jealous?”
It would be hard to deny it—Jihyeok’s mood was clearly very unpleasant. It wasn’t just the staring that was the problem.
“Classmates and upperclassmen alike… their gazes are too weird. …It’s suddenly making me irritated.”
“Pfft… I didn’t know my boyfriend had such strong possessive instincts?”
“…When people look at my girlfriend with those kinds of eyes, of course it pisses me off.”
“Hehe. Should I dress more modestly next time?”
“Won’t it be hot? Will you be okay?”
“My boyfriend is feeling uncomfortable, so I should endure it~”
“…No. It’s going to get hotter soon anyway, so it’s fine.”
“That’s true~ Jihyeok is mine after all! If you’re uncomfortable, just tell me! I’ll take care of it!”
“How are you going to take care of it?”
“It’s simple~”
Yuna released the arm she had been holding and used one hand to turn Jihyeok’s face toward her.
“Wouldn’t it be fine if I just kissed you right here in public?”
“…That would kill me in a completely different way.”
“Hehe. Is that so? Then let’s hurry and go before my boyfriend dies~”
“It feels like the stares have changed from jealousy to murderous intent…”
With the risk of being late looming, Jihyeok and Yuna hurried toward school.
“I’ve been thinking about something.”
“Hmm? What is it?”
On their way home after school had ended, Jihyeok spoke to Yuna in a tone as if he had realized something.
“Don’t we barely have any couple items?”
“Couple items? Hmm… yeah, I guess so. Other than the necklace, we don’t have anything else.”
“Want to go pick out some couple items this holiday?”
“I’d love that! But where should we go?”
“That… we can figure out slowly, right?”
“It seems like you came up with this pretty suddenly. Is it because of what happened on the way to school this morning?”
“…Yeah.”
Yuna hadn’t failed to notice the male students’ gazes on the way to school. She had the ability to discern a person’s character with a single look, so after observing the personalities of all the students staring at her, she found that most of them had ordinary characters. However, some students who were considered delinquents were clearly looking at her as a target for that kind of behavior.
Even Yuna had felt quietly annoyed and angry, but the mere fact that her boyfriend was by her side made all those negative feelings disappear completely. That was why she had planned to forget about the morning incident and enjoy Jihyeok to her heart’s content behind their house on the way home from school. But when Jihyeok suddenly suggested getting couple items on the way home, it was obvious.
‘My boyfriend must be jealous!’
She thought that if anyone should be jealous, it should be her, but seeing Jihyeok get jealous over something so trivial was incredibly cute. Overcome with that feeling, Yuna instinctively reached out and stroked Jihyeok’s head.
“Aigoo~ What should I do? Our Jihyeok is just too cute.”
“…I’m not cute.”
“You are in my eyes~”
Yuna moved her stroking hand downward and gently pinched both of Jihyeok’s cheeks.
“To think my boyfriend was this cute~”
“Haimaa… o ahhaa…”
“Do your cheeks hurt? Okay~ I’ll stop.”
While stroking his reddened cheeks, she planted a kiss on Jihyeok’s pouty lips.
-Chu
“Feeling a little better now?”
“…Yeah.”
“Hehe. Good~”
Seeing a smile appear on his pouty face and realizing his claim of feeling better wasn’t a lie, Yuna asked him a question.
“You don’t have any plans today, right?”
“Plans? Not really. Since I don’t have any close friends to begin with, the only times I make plans are for family or dates with my girlfriend.”
“Really?”
Thinking this was her chance, Yuna grabbed Jihyeok’s hand and pulled him toward her house.
“Then come over to my place~!”
“Uh… huh? Wait a second! Is it okay to visit so suddenly?”
“There’s no one home~ My parents are coming back late, and my little sister said she’s going to hang out somewhere~ But even if she were home, it wouldn’t matter, right?”
“That’s true, but this is way too sudden!”
“Come on~ There’s no such thing as too sudden~! Let’s go to my house first and think about it there~!”
Yuna practically kidnapped Jihyeok and invited him inside. She kicked off her shoes in an instant and headed straight to her room.
“Jihyeok! Lie down!”
“…Huh? Suddenly?”
“Hurry!”
“At least give me time to think—Whoa—!”
With the clear intention of not giving him any time to hesitate, Yuna pushed Jihyeok onto her bed and then climbed on top of him, lying down.
“…Um. Yuna?”
“Mmm~?”
“I knew you were proactive, but… um… I can feel everything, you know?”
“Can you?”
“Yeah… so… it might not be bad to put a little distance—”
-Chu
“We can take the kissing slow later, so right now—”
-Chu
“Rather than kissing, maybe hugging—”
-Chu
“Yuna—”
-Chuuuuuuu
Yuna’s bud kisses that completely ignored Jihyeok’s opinions. Because she kissed him in the middle of his sentences, the occasional touch of his lover’s tongue felt even sweeter. Unable to hold back any longer, the final kiss was almost like she was sucking him in, making the chu sound after the kiss last much longer.
The continuous bud kisses were hard for even Jihyeok to endure; he could feel his heartbeat speeding up.
“Hehe. It seems like my boyfriend’s heart is beating faster?”
“…You’ve gotten even more proactive since the festival.”
“Hmm? This is just my normal self? Right now we’re alone together, so I’ve only released a tiny bit of my limit.”
“…If this is just a tiny bit, what on earth would happen if you released it completely…”
“Curious?”
As she said that, Yuna slyly reached her hand toward Jihyeok’s pants.
“Nooooooooooo!”
“Pfft… Hahahahaha!”
Jihyeok’s reaction was so adorable that Yuna couldn’t hold back and burst into laughter.
“Our boyfriend… haha! Why is my boyfriend so cute?”
“Huuu… I don’t know…”
“I need to mark this incredibly cute boyfriend of mine as mine so no one can steal him~”
“Save me…”
It was as if a switch had been flipped. Yuna played with Jihyeok’s lips for a full thirty minutes, enjoying a very pleasant time. Of course, Jihyeok, who was pinned underneath her, felt like he was trapped in a happy prison.
