Phase 1. That Slut Hui-gyeong (14)
The whole way on the subway I sat there sunk deep in thought.
We'd made up, sure, but that didn't mean I felt good about having chewed Hui-gyeong out.
At the same time, just remembering how she'd tried to provoke my jealousy by deliberately cozying up to other guys made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and the anger flare all over again.
How cheap could you get?
Hell, before she even left the house she'd promised with her own mouth that she'd watch herself.
And then she had the nerve to flirt with other men while her older brother stood there with half his face swollen purple?
The cold, sinking feeling from earlier had kept me from noticing it, but now the rage finally surged up.
I was pretty pathetic myself, though.
Acting like I'd forgiven her all cool and collected, only to start seething about it after the fact.
My rational side kept scolding me for still picking at something already settled, but my emotions kept poking the embers of resentment in my chest, and it was driving me insane.
What if she does it again?
Fine. This time it blew over.
But what about next time?
Hui-gyeong had plenty of dating experience, so she was expert-level at grabbing a guy by the balls and shaking him around.
If she was going to jerk me around, at least a clear "I like you" would help, but the only time she ever said she liked me was when we were doing dirty things. The rest of the time she just told me to get a grip, so I couldn't even be sure.
And while she kept me dangling like that, a little corner of my mind kept wondering if the bitch was just stringing me along.
While she was locked up at home she didn't have a smartphone, which meant no guys to contact, so maybe she was just treating me as a convenient way to scratch an itch. Or maybe she was letting me touch her just enough so I'd keep spending money on her. Every train of thought I followed just got more unpleasant and more unsettling.
A KakaoTalk message from my tutoring student Seon-woo.
Still talking to me like she was the boss.
"Haa…" A sigh slipped out on its own.
Hui-gyeong was a problem, but this one wasn't any easier.
A repeat student who should've been grinding at her books instead spent all her time hanging with a pack of little brats comparing dick sizes.
I had plenty to say about Seon-woo too, but right now I needed to focus on Hui-gyeong.
I wanted certainty.
It wasn't just that I wanted to fuck her.
I wanted to see the smile she made when she was genuinely happy to see me.
I wanted her to wave me off in the morning even if she was still half-asleep. I wanted her to call me when I was late and sound like she was dying to see me. And at night I wanted her to shyly lure me into bed.
I wanted her so gone over me she didn't know what to do with herself. That thought took over everything.
The ride was a little under an hour, but I was so busy sorting through my head that it flew by. I almost missed my stop and had to shove through people to get off.
Even so, this station I walked out of every day—and even myself walking through it—felt strangely unfamiliar.
Stepping out of the subway station, a completely different view spread out compared to our shabby, empty neighborhood.
The sidewalks were clean, big trees lined the road side, and the inner edge was thick with greenery. The storefronts looked freshly painted, not a flake of peeling paint in sight.
Oddly enough there weren't many big buildings. Being a residential area, there were well-kept apartment complexes and a lot of large, elegant houses.
Normally I would have taken in the scenery, but today was different.
For some reason my eyes kept going to the people walking past.
Unlike our neighborhood, where meeting someone's eyes was an invitation to start something, a few of them even gave me a light nod of greeting. That was how nice the place was.
Another KakaoTalk. This time it was Gyeong-jun.
A selfie of him eating with Eun-sol. They'd pressed their bodies and faces right up against each other just to fit into the tiny frame, both of them grinning.
I was massively jealous.
At the same time a sharp loneliness cut through me.
It was morning and I already had zero motivation. I still had to brace myself to deal with Seon-woo, and the whole day ahead looked bleak.
Then, suddenly, a couple walked into my field of vision.
"How many more stops?"
"Seven. Take exit 4 and just keep walking—there's an exhibition hall."
"I can't wait!"
The guy answered while checking the map on his phone; the girl hung on his arm, smiling, already floating on the idea of their date. He casually draped an arm over her shoulder and she rested her head against him like she'd been waiting for it.
Normally the sight would've just irritated me. Today it hit me like a revelation.
Yeah. That was exactly what I wanted.
A real couple date.
If I asked Hui-gyeong out properly and she had any feelings for me at all, she'd say yes. And if she did, it would be an official date, so she'd watch how she acted and only look at me the whole time.
My head cleared.
At the same time I took a hard look at myself.
Yeah… all I'd ever done was ask if I could touch her chest, if I could touch her pussy. Even if she liked me, how was she supposed to say so under those conditions?
It was worth a shot.
The second I decided what I needed to do, strength flooded back into my body and the corner of my mouth tugged upward.
Then my eyes met the guy from the couple coming the other way. I smiled and gave a light nod; he smiled back good-naturedly and returned the greeting.
"Yeah. If you're going to live, you should live in a place like this."
I felt like I could actually enjoy the day.
Yeah, right. What a load of crap. It was a brutal day.
Seon-woo's little games kept getting worse by the day, and I broke a sweat more times than I could count just fending her off. Ugh.
From morning to night I wanted some kind of reward for everything I'd put up with.
When I got close to home I called Mom on my phone.
"Yeah, Gyeong-hun~. You home yet?"
"Almost. I was gonna pick something up—anything you want?"
"It's fine. We've been eating out every night lately. Just come home. Mom'll make dinner."
"Nah, I just feel like having a drink."
"Then grab a few bottles at the convenience store. We'll make the snacks at home."
"Yeah?"
"What kind of snacks do you want?"
"Rolled omelet."
"That enough?"
"If we're just having a light drink after dinner, that's perfect, right?"
"Got it. Hurry home, Gyeong-hun~."
Every time I talked to Mom I noticed the same thing: if you took out the words "son" and "Mom," it was impossible to tell the conversation apart from a wife talking to her husband. Even the tone had this soft, coquettish lilt that sometimes made me flinch and wonder what the hell I was doing.
At the convenience store near the house I bought three bottles of beer and two bottles of soju-mixed soda—just enough to get a buzz going.
Black plastic bag in hand, I opened the front door and Hui-gyeong came running out.
She snatched the bag first, checked the contents, and her face crumpled.
"What am I supposed to do with this?"
"…Are you happier to see the booze than me?"
I answered curtly. Hui-gyeong looked at me for a second, then leaned in and planted a soft kiss on my lips.
"You worked hard, Oppa."
That was all it took. I couldn't stop the grin spreading across my face.
I was embarrassed by how cheaply pleased I was as a man.
While I stood there grinning like an idiot, Hui-gyeong smiled softly too.
"What the hell, Jo Gyeong-hun. Why are you so cute?"
"Dunno. Do it again."
"Mom's here, so no."
I decided not to throw a tantrum about it.
Like she said, Mom was right there in the kitchen. Unless we went into a room, it was better to keep the stupid stuff to a minimum.
"Gyeong-hun, you got here fast."
"Yeah, I was already nearby when I called."
"Dinner's ready. Go wash up."
Mom stuck her head out of the kitchen in an apron. The way she beamed at me like a happy puppy—was it unfilial to think that?
These past few days, with both me and Hui-gyeong stuck at home all the time, Mom had been in an especially good mood.
"Stick this in the fridge. I'm gonna shower."
"Okay~."
I dropped my bag, grabbed a change of clothes, and headed straight into the bathroom.
Like always I stripped completely and struck a few poses in front of the mirror.
I'd hit the bench press that morning, so my muscles felt a little tighter than the day before.
If Hui-gyeong hadn't pulled that shit earlier I could've gone full course and wrecked her, which was a damn shame.
"Honestly the only thing I've got going for me is the body."
And the cock. Fully hard it stood easily past my navel, thick enough that even if you cut a toilet paper tube lengthwise it still wouldn't wrap all the way around.
Any girl who got a proper taste of this thing would never leave me alone. Even the brothels had started turning me away, telling me not to come back because of the size.
But women never looked past my face long enough to even think about checking the goods, which was just sad.
Still, never know when I'll get to use it, so I worked up a thick lather with body wash and gave the weapon a thorough cleaning.
Come to think of it, living with Hui-gyeong I hadn't really emptied my balls properly even once.
No wonder every time I caught the scent of her skin I lost my mind—my testosterone had been racing toward maximum the whole time.
Should I just fuck her for real today? Once I put it in she wouldn't be able to move anyway.
I was chuckling to myself at the stupid thought when I faintly heard the bathroom door open.
"Who is it?"
"……."
"Who is it~?"
"……."
I called out louder, but there was no answer.
Weirded out, I stayed still for a while. After that I didn't hear anything else—not even the sound of the door closing.
Figuring I'd just been jumpy, I let it go and rinsed the suds off.
I towel-dried my hair, put on the clothes I'd brought, and was about to toss the dirty ones into the washing machine when—
"Huh?"
The underwear I'd worn all day was gone.
"…What the hell?"
Our bathroom had the washing machine right there, so I always threw my laundry in right away. I'd worn them to the gym too, so they definitely needed washing.
Just in case I checked inside the machine, but everything I own is black, so I couldn't tell if today's pair was in there or not.
"I probably just threw them in earlier."
Sometimes I stripped and chucked them straight into the machine. Yeah. That had to be it.
I couldn't exactly walk out and ask who'd taken my underwear, and people constantly do things and then convince themselves they didn't. This was just one of those times. If you obsess over every little detail you'll drive yourself crazy.
…It wasn't Hui-gyeong or Mom, right?
No. No way. I'd put them in myself and was just misremembering.
…It had to be that.
