Role (1)
After that day, Seoyeoni changed. She loved me even more than before—so much more. I could feel it with every part of my body. It seemed like she was assuaging her own guilt from having sex with Hyeonwoo by showering me with affection. It was like atonement, the way she gave me her love without holding back.
Even our play had changed. There was still a hint of shyness, but she'd become much more proactive. Her lines, the filming, the watching play—she threw herself into it all. She watched my reactions closely, like she was pondering how to excite me even more. It felt like she'd figured out how to get turned on herself while catering to my filthy kink.
And today. Today was the day Seoyeoni and Hyeonwoo were going on a date. I'd planned to just send them off with a bitter ache in my chest, but that morning, Hyeonwoo dragged me out too.
"Today, I'm Seoyeoni's boyfriend~ Hyung, you can just watch from behind."
He'd summoned me on a whim and spouted whatever he felt like. I was pissed at him declaring he'd play the boyfriend role, but my disgusting curiosity won out, and I said okay.
Sex was one thing, but seeing them enjoy a normal date—that was something I'd always wondered about. It was exactly as I'd imagined. Arm in arm, holding hands, shoulders brushing. They strolled down the street, checking out fun sights, grabbing tasty snacks, even shopping. I trailed a step behind, clutching my pounding heart as I watched them.
"Hyung, this one."
"No, this too!"
He'd told me to watch from behind, but he didn't treat me like I was invisible. The payments. The payments were on me. Hyeonwoo picked out clothes that weren't my taste at all for Seoyeoni, had her try them on, praised them. I'd swiped my card once, twice by accident, and before I knew it, he'd taken it entirely. "This'll be easier," he said. I was told to wait outside...
I sat outside the clothing store, watching the two of them, and whenever a payment notification hit my phone, I'd get up. The shopping bags were my job too, of course.
After shopping, Seoyeoni and Hyeonwoo walked ahead again, pressed close like a real couple, all lovey-dovey. I followed a bit behind, hands full of shopping bags on both sides, like their personal porter. Every now and then, Seoyeoni would glance back—that was my only comfort. I'd smile at her like everything was fine. Truth was, I had no other choice. I couldn't worry her...
At Hyeonwoo's suggestion of grabbing a beer, we ended up at a private room bar. He was shown to a seat and plopped Seoyeoni right next to him like it was the most natural thing. I hesitated across the table from them. The vibe was weird, obviously. Sitting there facing this pretty, handsome couple, I felt like the awkward tag-along.
"What should we get~? Seoyeoni, what do you want? We can order whatever, right?"
"...Yeah. Sure, go ahead."
Was I paying for this too? My allowance for the month was almost gone. I'd already blown so much on Seoyeoni's clothes, plus all the little coffees and snacks I'd covered—it added up. I'd probably have to scrape by on ramen for the rest of the month... I couldn't say anything, just watched Hyeonwoo order a ton. Way more than we could eat.
Seoyeoni, who knew my wallet situation, shot me a worried look.
"Wanna see what we bought today~?"
After finishing the orders, Hyeonwoo beckoned me over. I handed him the shopping bags.
"Hmm, let's see. Black suits Seoyeoni well. Her pale skin makes it pop, huh? Sky blue's good too."
"O-oppa..."
"Panties too—hold these up."
He laid out skimpy, sheer underwear that barely qualified as fabric and held them up to Seoyeoni. She glanced at me, blushing, but followed his lead. She pressed the bra to her chest and looked down at the panties he held.
"Perfect fit. Gotta play up those assets. You always wear such plain stuff."
"N-no, it's not..."
Seoyeoni's face flushed red. The "plain" underwear he mentioned? Most of it was my taste. Some she'd bought herself, others I'd gifted her. Knowing my preferences, she'd worn that style just for me.
"Toss all your old ones. This vibe suits you."
"W-what? No, but..."
"It's fine, I'll buy it all exactly like this."
Seoyeoni looked at me. She seemed to share my thoughts but didn't add anything.
"Alright, fashion show later."
"Okay..."
She glanced at me again, then just nodded. I couldn't say a word either. The word "fashion show" had me pathetically excited like an idiot.
The food arrived, and we had a round of drinks. Thanks to Hyeonwoo steering things, the mood wasn't bad. Not just Seoyeoni—even I cracked a smile now and then.
"Here, hyungnim—one more!"
"Hey, we're eating too much already..."
"Come on! Down it!"
I was already past my limit, but he kept pushing, so I chugged. I was trying to show off in the weirdest way. I wanted to beat Hyeonwoo at drinking, especially with Seoyeoni watching. The buzz hit, my head spun, but I had to hold out.
Comparatively sober Hyeonwoo grinned nonstop, pouring me more.
"Feels good to drink like this in ages~"
He slung an arm around Seoyeoni's shoulders, casually resting a hand on her chest. That was another reason to endure. As the drinks flowed, his touches grew bolder, more blatant. It was a private room, sure, but still public—I wished he'd hold back. For now, it was tolerable, so I let it slide. Seoyeoni flinched once but stayed put. I was alert, ready to stop him if he crossed the line.
"Here, take it! Seoyeoni too—let's drink together."
"..."
For a split second, it looked like he'd grabbed her breast hard. I was about to speak up, but he poured my drink, so I took it.
"Cheers~"
I knew better but downed it anyway. Big mistake. Nausea surged, something rising in my throat. Seeing Hyeonwoo smirk at me made it worse.
"Urk. Gotta hit the bathroom..."
"O-oppa? You okay?"
"..."
Leaving Seoyeoni's worried voice behind, I bolted to the bathroom. My body rebelled, vomit flooding up. I'd overdone it without knowing my place.
"Ugh..."
I clung to the toilet for ages before staggering back to them. My head was spinning. My breath reeked.
"I'm b..."
I opened the door to our room, and Seoyeoni jumped like she'd been shocked. She hastily fixed her clothes, smoothed her hair. She tugged her skirt down awkwardly. Hyeonwoo looked startled too but quickly composed himself, leaning back casually.
"Oh, hyung's back?"
"O-oppa... you okay? You drank too much...?"
It was so unnatural. Faces flushed pink, breaths oddly ragged. Only an idiot wouldn't notice. I didn't know exactly what, but they'd definitely done something.
"Why standing? Sit."
"R-right! Sit down first... Want some water, oppa?"
"..."
But both Seoyeoni and Hyeonwoo played dumb. They knew I'd caught on, acted obvious about it, yet now pretended nothing happened. My dizziness doubled. What the hell was I supposed to do? Ask what they just did? Yell? Call them out for fooling around in public...?
"I-I'm fine... What's this? You ordered more?"
"Ah~ Seoyeoni wanted fruit."
"Y-yeah..."
I picked the most pathetic option. Pointing at the fruit platter I didn't even care about, I pretended I saw nothing.
"H-how's the fruit...? Should I try some?"
"Haha, stomach's bad—stick to water."
Hyeonwoo smirked at me. Seoyeoni kept her hands under the table, fussing with her skirt.
"Makes me wanna know~ Right?"
"O-oppa...!!"
"..."
Hyeonwoo muttered something weird, and Seoyeoni startled in an even weirder way. In this situation, "wanna know" could only mean one thing. I knew he was doing it on purpose. But I pretended not to notice again.
"W-what...?"
My voice came out in an awkward, fake tone. I felt like such a loser.
"Hyung, how's the bathroom? Stalls clean?"
"Huh...? Y-yeah, fine..."
"Mind checking again?"
"Checking what?"
"Just see if it's clean one more time. I gotta make a call—go ahead."
"Uh... s-sure..."
Like an idiot, I answered and headed back to the bathroom. The same one I'd puked in. Not super clean, not dirty—just average.
I called Hyeonwoo.
"I'm at the bathr..."
"Anyone there?"
"What? No one's here..."
"Hold on."
I stared blankly at the disconnected phone when voices came from outside.
"It's fine."
"B-but still..."
"No one's there."
The bathroom door flew open, Hyeonwoo peeking in.
"No one's here, right? Nope. Come on in."
Led by Hyeonwoo, Seoyeoni entered. Her ears were beet red, head bowed low. She glanced around nervously, flinching at the urinals. The alcohol haze vanished.
Hyeonwoo patted my shoulder.
"Hyung. We'll pop in quick—stand guard for us."
"What...?"
"Guard duty. Keep watch."
Hyeonwoo stepped into a stall, followed by head-down Seoyeoni.
"..."
The inner door clanged shut and locked.
