Hello, dear readers. This is Muhwaggotran.
My first paid series on Novelpia, My Gaming Friends Are Returnees, And Are Obsessed With Me, has finally come to an end.
The serialization period, which felt long at times and short at others, was a truly enjoyable experience.
Although there were some parts I regret due to various circumstances, I'm relieved in many ways that I was able to see Ha-chan's journey through to the very end.
At 255 chapters, which would be a little over 10 volumes in book format, I think this might be the novel I've written most freely, following my own whims.
It was the first time I'd ever poured so much of the story's focus onto the female characters.
Because of that, I feel it's a bit of a shame that the protagonist-centered narrative was lacking.
I believe that likely affected its performance as well.
On top of that, as work got busier and my health declined a bit, some of the illustrations I had planned to include until the end had to be omitted.
For that, I feel very sorry to all of you, my readers.
I've once again been reminded that writing a harem story is challenging in many ways, and I feel I've learned a great deal from this work.
Therefore, I offer my deepest gratitude to all of you who followed this flawed story to the very end.

This is the end of the story for My Gaming Friends.
I'm not usually one to write side stories, so I don't think there will be any for this series.
Instead, I am currently working on my next project.
To tell you a little about it, the protagonist is quite a ruthless character who steals other people's skills.
I've stockpiled nearly 20 chapters, so I expect to begin serialization around mid-April.
I will return around then with an update and my new work.
Once again, I offer my thanks to all the readers who have followed me this far.
