My Favorite Streamer Found Out Who I Am
It wasn't like I meant for any of this to happen. Actually, it wasn't the kind of thing where "intention" even applied. It was just pure fan spirit. Like when you see a cute cat video and immediately share it with your friends. It was that same feeling—just, please watch this adorable streamer. I was just a college student who only knew how to make clips, after all.
"...So why the hell did it turn out like this?"
When I first uploaded that video with a big goofy grin on my face, I had no idea. I never imagined the clip I'd posted on VTube would ride the algorithm's wave and blow up like this. Just looking at the flood of comments underneath made my head spin.
Obviously, some of that massive VTube traffic flowed back to the streamer herself. And my favorite—who used to barely scrape together a few dozen loyal viewers as a total small-timer—had suddenly ballooned in size.
It had taken her almost a full month to grow this much. This was what people called a rocket rise, I guess. Still, it was fine. My life didn't change just because my once-tiny favorite streamer had reached mid-tier status. All that happened was that the broadcasts I enjoyed now had more people watching along with me, right?
"By any chance... are you Uni_clip, oppa?"
Of course, that was all before my rocket-risen favorite streamer found out who I really was.
