# My Daughter Is the Final Boss
## Chapter 0
My daughter destroyed the world.
A throne stood alone in a snowfield stained red with blood.
Seol-ah sat there with her chin resting on one hand, quietly staring at me.
“……Why did you do it, Seol-ah?”
At my question, Seol-ah let out a mocking laugh.
A faint contempt lingered in her sunken eyes.
“How pathetic. Lee Seo-jun. Are you trying to play the role of a father now, at this late hour?”
“I……”
Her cold voice, as though she were speaking to a stranger, cut me off.
“Or did you come here as a hunter, of all things, to hunt me?”
I closed my mouth.
The reason I had come here was to deliver an ultimatum.
To stop Seol-ah.
But there was no willingness to negotiate.
“Give it up, Seo-jun.”
A voice came from behind me.
The owner of the voice was an old man, the Sword Saint.
Behind him stood countless hunters who followed him.
They were humanity’s final desperate force, gathered here to kill Seol-ah.
“That thing isn’t your daughter anymore. It’s a monster.”
“No. Seol-ah isn’t a monster. She’s my daughter.”
“I won’t force you to participate in the battle. Step aside.”
“……I’m sorry.”
I raised my spear.
Turning around, I pointed it at the Sword Saint.
One of the Sword Saint’s eyebrows rose.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
“I believe you’ll understand.”
I bent my knees slightly and lowered my stance.
After steadying my breathing, I gripped the spear tightly.
The Sword Saint warned me as though he had no desire to do this.
“You’ll die.”
“Then kill me and go.”
I knew that I had failed to fulfill my role as a father.
I also knew that doing this would help neither Seol-ah nor the Sword Saint.
The difference in skill between the Sword Saint and me was obvious.
It was a meaningless struggle.
But even if it meant dying, I could not simply stand by and watch them hunt down my daughter.
Shing.
At some point, the Sword Saint appeared before me.
At a speed my eyes could not perceive.
By the time I realized he was there, his sword had already pierced my heart.
Feeling the cold blade sink into my chest, I looked at the Sword Saint.
Thud.
My spear rolled across the ground, and I collapsed.
The Sword Saint looked down at me for a moment before turning his head toward Seol-ah.
My vision blurred, and I could no longer see Seol-ah’s face.
A dry, emotionless female voice pierced my ears.
[The Witch, Lee Seol-ah, is enraged.]
[Earth’s Final Quest has begun.]
[Final Boss: Defeat the Witch, Lee Seol-ah.]
In the end, it had begun.
There was no way to turn back anymore.
I spat out the blood filling my throat and squeezed out the last of my strength to whisper.
“I’m sorry, Seol-ah.”
Hot tears blurred my vision.
I regretted it.
I wanted to turn everything back to the very beginning.
My consciousness gradually faded.
A voice reached me faintly.
[Hunter Lee Seo-jun’s Unique Quest has begun.]
[Returning to the past.]
