The Completely Transformed Reaction on Tweeb Gallery
I had somehow managed to reach an agreement with my clone. For starters, I agreed to learn martial arts, though I significantly dialed down the intensity of the training. It was a feat I achieved by remaining firm. Furthermore, I managed to postpone the establishment of the Heavenly Demon Cult until her martial arts reached a level suitable for the Heavenly Demon. That was the biggest victory of all.
After reaching that compromise, we cleaned the house together. Her sudden appearance had left the place in absolute chaos, and that had to be the first thing I addressed. Of course, being the Heavenly Demon, she didn't want to clean, but when she saw me—her master—doing it, she had no choice but to follow suit.
'It’s going to cost another three million won to fix all this.'
I couldn't just be happy about completing the three-million-won mission; the repair costs were going to exceed that. Still, I didn't feel particularly bad. Perhaps it was because my clone had returned.
'Now, I don't have to worry about being suspected as a fake.'
Malicious viewers often gave derogatory nicknames to a streamer's fans. I had some, too. Do you know what they were? Forgery Dogs and Shin Dogs. The anti-fans used "Forgery Dogs" to belittle me, while my fans used "Shin Dogs" to self-deprecate. I especially hated the term "Forgery Dogs" because it insulted both me and my fans simultaneously. But it was fine now. That derogatory label would disappear. I was no longer a fake. Just that thought brought me a tremendous sense of relief and liberation.
'Alright. Shall we stop cleaning here?'
To be honest, I’d need to call in a professional cleaning service to finish the job. I’d done as much as I could on my own.
"Master. What should I do now?"
"Hmm, do whatever you want."
"Do you mean whatever I desire?"
"Yeah. You can practice martial arts, or just rest."
"...Understood."
At my words, she pondered for a moment before sitting cross-legged on the floor. It seemed she was going to start her martial arts training. I didn't disturb her. Instead, I checked my smartphone.
'Wow, I’ve got a ton of messages.'
A quick glance showed a massive number of KakaoTalk messages. Most were from other streamers. I ignored them. I wasn't particularly close to them anyway. To be precise, they were the people who had all turned their backs on me when I hit rock bottom. It felt a bit hypocritical for them to reach out now. Of course, there was one person I shouldn't ignore.
Buzz. Bzzzz.
Right on cue, a call came in from that person. I answered immediately.
"Hello?"
-Hey! Kim Shin-hyuk! Why aren't you checking your messages!
"Sorry, I've been a bit busy."
-Busy or not, my messages... Ah! Right! More importantly, you really used your ability, right? It wasn't a setup, was it!
I pulled the phone away from my ear for a second. The excitement in her voice was that intense.
"Yeah. It's real."
-Crazy! I knew it! I believed in you until the end! *Sob*...!
"Are you crying?"
-I, I'm not crying, okay?! Everyone says I'm pretty, so don't you dare!
The person on the other end was a woman named Park So-yoon, a fellow streamer who went by the handle Soyooni. She was different from the other streamers I had ignored. When everyone else betrayed me, she was the only one who stayed by my side until the very end. That was why I answered her call. I chatted with her for a while.
"Don't cry. What are you going to do if your already ugly face gets even uglier?"
-I'm not ugly! Everyone says I'm pretty!
"Yeah, yeah. I got it. Anyway, thanks for calling."
-*Sniff*, as long as you know.
Strangely, talking to her made me smile. Heh.
'Huh?'
Just then, I felt something strange. I turned my head slightly and saw my clone, who had been practicing martial arts, staring straight at me.
"Hold on. I'll call you back later."
-Okay. Make sure you do.
"Yeah."
I hung up on her and looked at my clone. "Why?"
"Are you perhaps dating her?"
"Huh? Dating? No?"
"I see."
"But why do you ask?"
"Nothing. I was just curious."
With that, she closed her eyes again. I looked at her, bewildered. 'Seriously, what is her deal?' I had hung up on So-yoon for no reason because of her. Since it felt awkward to call back immediately, I just logged into the online community I usually frequented.
'More importantly, I wonder what the reaction on Tweeb Gallery is like?'
Tweeb Gallery, or T-Gall for short. There isn't a single streamer who doesn't check T-Gall. I was no different. I logged in and scanned the reactions.
'It must be absolute chaos, right?'
I had revealed the ability I’d kept hidden for four years of broadcasting. I expected it to be a massive issue. And my prediction was correct. The first page of the popular posts was filled with talk about me.
[Kim Shin-hyuk Summoning Video]
[Is Kim Shin-hyuk's summon's physique for real?]
[Collection of 8K Upscaled Versions of Kim Shin-hyuk's Summon]
Of course, most people were interested in the "summon" I had brought forth. I suppose it was because she was pretty and had a great figure. I glanced at my clone's body. 'She’s definitely got volume. Is that what they call an F-cup?' Her chest was especially impressive. I didn't know how she ended up with such a large chest, considering she used to be a man.
Startle.
Just then, I made eye contact with her again. Did she notice I was looking at her chest? Suddenly, she gave a faint smile. I felt guilty for no reason and turned my eyes back to my smartphone. "Ahem."
Fortunately, there were various other posts on T-Gall besides those about my clone. I clicked on one that caught my eye.
I'm leaving the link to my old post here. As I said back then, it's really hard to forge an Awakened License. And forging one is a major felony. No matter how suspicious Kim Shin-hyuk seemed, you shouldn't have doubted the license.
┖ LOL, everyone didn't know this?
┖ I defended Kim Shin-hyuk back then and got 100 downvotes LMAO
┖ Condolences LOL
┖ But it's impressive that Kim Shin-hyuk held back and didn't show his ability for 4 years LMAO
┖ The house gets trashed every time he summons, how could he show it LMAO
┖ But isn't human-type summoning the first in history? Maybe that's why he hid it?
The number of comments was massive, and the majority were on my side. The reaction had done a 180-degree turn from before. 'Back then, they only cursed at me...' Previously, even if someone slightly defended me, they would be called a "Forgery Dog" and get trashed. I still remembered that vividly. Of course, I understood. Communities were easily swayed by the atmosphere. I nodded and started scanning the popular posts again.
'Hmm?'
Then, I found a post that caught my attention.
First, the portal effect itself is impossible to implement with standard broadcast equipment. The lighting and shadow reactions are too natural. I asked a friend who is a CG expert, and he said it doesn't look like CG at all. If he could put that kind of CG in a live broadcast, he wouldn't be streaming here. He would've gone straight to Hollywood.
The woman who appeared is the same. She didn't walk through the door; she literally tore through space. No matter how I look at it, it's certain. I checked the video out of curiosity. She really did tear through space to appear. It didn't look like CG at all.
Lastly, Kim Shin-hyuk's reaction. He looked genuinely surprised. In other words, it's highly unlikely that he prepared the staging himself. He probably didn't know such a large portal would appear.
They were assigning meaning to my actions on their own. I found it amusing and chuckled.
Anyway, the conclusion is: Kim Shin-hyuk is definitely an Awakened. It's certain. His ability is summoning-type. But it seems like a type he can't even control properly himself.
┖ Analysis is spot on
┖ Kim Shin-hyuk's expression was real. If that was acting, he should be an actor
┖ If he can't control it, isn't that dangerous?
┖ That's why Kim Shin-hyuk hid his ability all this time
┖ All you guys who suspected Kim Shin-hyuk, go die LMAO
┖ To the guy who wrote the post above LMAO, you were the one cursing at Kim Shin-hyuk in old posts
This was the first time T-Gall had been this fun. I watched it with great interest. It was fascinating and funny how different the reactions were from when they used to attack me. 'Wait? My fan?' Among them, there was a post from one of the few fans I had.
I'm a Shin Dog. I'm leaving proof in the link here.
I clicked the link, and there was an actual autograph I had given. 'Come to think of it, I used to give autographs often.' Of course, after I hit rock bottom, there hadn't been a single one. I continued reading the post.
As everyone knows, there aren't many Shin Dogs left who stayed until the end. As far as I know, there are only 12 of us. I'm one of those 12.
Come to think of it, my current number of paid subscribers was 12.
Honestly, even we didn't believe in Kim Shin-hyuk. Isn't that funny? That even the real fans didn't believe him?
I stared blankly at the screen. 'Then why did you like me until the end?' It was different from Park So-yoon. She truly believed I was an Awakened. But they said they didn't. I read the rest of the post with a puzzled face.
But then why were you a fan until the end? Even knowing he was a fake?
'Right, why did you like me?'
The reason came soon after.
Just because I liked him. It didn't matter if he was a fake.
My eyes stopped on the screen for a moment. That sentence felt strange and stuck in my mind. 'It didn't matter if I was a fake?'
Damn, we thought we were crazy too. But we really thought it didn't matter if Kim Shin-hyuk lied.
I didn't know there was such a backstory.
What if he was a fake? I was a fan just because I liked the person himself. Honestly, everyone thought this. Then it was revealed that I was a real Awakened. The shock must have been immense.
But Kim Shin-hyuk is a real Awakened? He didn't lie, he just hid it because he had his reasons?
I could feel the excitement even in the text. I read the post with even more focus.
Damn, as soon as I found out, I was screaming and going crazy. Because of that, the neighbor downstairs came up and I had to apologize. But damn, it felt so good. I felt like I had been acknowledged, and I thought I was going to go crazy.
The excitement of the person who wrote the post was transmitted to me. They really seemed to have liked me. I smiled warmly at the post. Thanks to them, I was able to hold on until the end. I was determined to repay them someday.
Anyway, damn, I just feel so good. I wrote this post because I wanted to let everyone know. Thanks for reading my long, useless post.
I clicked "Like" on the post. It had been a very long time since I personally clicked "Like" on anything.
