Let's Read Articles About Me
"All right — time to kick off the main content!"
I was a superhuman, sure, but I was also a streamer. Of course I'd prepared something for the show.
Unfortunately — or fortunately, depending on how you looked at it — I couldn't summon Cheonma. Instead, I'd brought content the viewers would actually care about.
"Today's content is… Reading Articles!"
Articles about me had poured out in numbers beyond counting. Of course they had. The whole thing had been that big of a story.
But I'd deliberately avoided reading most of them. I'd been saving them for content just like this.
I opened Korea's biggest portal site and typed my name into the search bar.
Kim Sinhyeok.
I'd searched myself like this before, once, just out of boredom. Back then, nothing came up.
Now was a different story.
My photo and profile sat right there at the top of the results, bold as anything.
They picked a good shot, at least.
Honestly, I was decent-looking enough. There was a reason I'd managed to make it as a streamer early on. And of all my photos, this one was easily the best — especially the way it caught the clean line of my nose.
I admired it with quiet satisfaction, then scrolled down.
Article after article about me filled the screen.
"Let's just skim through these."
I scrolled, reading the headlines as they went by.

Headlines of every kind flooded the page. I never imagined there'd be this many, this varied — and this was the trimmed-down version. There were so many I couldn't even look through them all.
"Wow, that's a lot. Hmm… let's start with this one."
I clicked the article about the Superhuman Association reaching out.
The content itself was nothing special. The Association had requested an official meeting, and I was supposedly still deliberating.
I confirmed whether the article was accurate. No reason not to.
"This one's real. The Superhuman Association contacted me yesterday."
They wanted to remeasure my rank, and they'd passed along a few requests for cooperation while they were at it.
Amusingly enough, even the people at the Association didn't know my exact ability. They just assumed I was a summon-type, based on what had already come out.
A superhuman's ability was strictly confidential. Even the Association president had no authority to look into someone else's power. That was why the Association itself still didn't know the truth about mine.
Either way, I'd told them I'd think about it. More precisely, I planned to stall.
Ten years ago, when my clone vanished, I'd gone all the way to the Superhuman Association begging for help. All I got in return was baseless suspicion. From that day on, they'd lost my trust.
I'm not just rolling over for them.
They needed to understand what it felt like to be the one desperate for help. Naturally, I had no intention of granting their request right away.
"All right, next article."
I clicked the one that interested me most. Honestly, I'd wanted to open this one first.
The moment I clicked, chat exploded.
The chat reaction was excellent. Everyone seemed genuinely curious.
Ah, so that's what this is about.
Unfortunately, the article itself wasn't long. Most of it was boilerplate about working hard to ensure my safety and Cheonma's.
Do they really need to worry about Cheonma's safety?
I could still feel the residual thrill of that overwhelming power. It still gave me chills.
Or maybe they're just keeping tabs on me in case I try to emigrate.
I'd already seen community posts about how multiple countries around the world were taking an interest in me.
Of course, global public opinion still didn't trust me. Most people still thought the whole thing was fabricated — China and Japan especially.
But their governments were a different story. Those governments were working hard to establish the facts, and reportedly making real efforts to contact me.
Well, none of them have actually reached out yet.
Not that I had any plans to emigrate. That might change later, but for now, I was staying put.
"Don't worry, everyone. Honestly — with Cheonma around, who's gonna touch me?"
Most of the people here had already watched the NewTube video I'd uploaded. They knew full well how terrifyingly skilled Cheonma was.
"Okay, next one."
This time I picked something lighter — an article comparing me to Wood King Cheon Gangmok.
Humility was the right play here. So, for the first time in a while, I put on a modest face.
"Hmm, who do I think is stronger between me and Cheon Gangmok? Obviously Cheon Gangmok is stronger."
Of course, you always have to hear a person out to the end.
"Ah — if it's Cheonma fighting him, that's a different story. I thought you meant me fighting him."
I was already being treated as a full S-rank. And no matter how strong an A+-rank was, there was still a gap between that and S-rank.
Hollow humility just looked more arrogant. That was why I'd said it the way I had.
"Next article."
This time I read a piece praising me as the world's first person to clear the Temple of Silence.
I deliberately read a few more articles in that vein. Viewers loved this kind of ego-boosting content — and sure enough, the viewer count was climbing fast.
Then, at last, I clicked the article I'd been waiting for. I'd saved this one for the end on purpose.
You had to hand it to the wreckers — their reach was real. And as Korea's biggest wrecker channel, Superhuman Research Institute hit on a completely different scale.
Even among my own viewers, some people still believed what they said.
Plenty of people were farming engagement off the controversy, too.
Obviously, I needed to set the record straight at least once.
"Well. To start with the facts — no."
Chat went nuclear. Messages flew up so fast I could barely read them.
I drove the point home one more time.
"That's right. My ability is not time-limited. I can keep summoning Cheonma indefinitely."
I hammered that nail in deliberately.
Plenty of people still wouldn't believe me even after hearing it. And I had no intention of chasing them down and converting them.
The more people who don't believe me, the better it is for me anyway.
The more skeptics there were, the more Park Jincheon of Superhuman Research Institute would keep farming this angle for engagement. That much was certain. He'd keep pumping out similar videos to milk the views.
And the more he did, the harder he'd fall. I couldn't wait for that day. I was so excited I could barely stand it.
"Anyway — that's all for today's content!"
Two hours had already flown by. Back in the old days I would've kept streaming longer, but lately martial arts training left me too drained to push it.
Just as I was about to wrap up the stream—
Hinyong has donated 100,000 won!
"Ah, thank you for the donation, Hinyong— wait. Hinyong?!"
My eyes went wide.
It wasn't the 100,000 won that did it. Even with money being tight lately, I wasn't that desperate.
It was who the donation came from.
"Is this actually Hinyong?"
Right on cue, the donation message rolled across the screen.
I nodded immediately.
"Hell ye— I mean, yes, absolutely!"
Hinyong was the most famous female streamer on Twiv. Stunning looks, an incredible figure, and the highest viewer count of any woman on the platform. In short, she was the empress of Twiv.
And she was a streamer I'd always liked. Not liked-as-in-romantically — more that I genuinely enjoyed watching her broadcasts.
I moved the mouse fast and jumped into her stream.
