Chapter 68: Slender Waist Like Willow, Beautiful Ass Like the Moon (Part 2)
...
The clouds dispersed and the rain ceased.
After the frenzy, I actually felt a faint ache in my lower back.
I had indeed been overindulging these past two days, recklessly and continuously fooling around with my little sister, Chen Xiao, and Teacher Chu Ning.
After washing myself clean, I stepped into the classroom just as the school bell rang.
Meeting the gazes of dozens of classmates, I walked to my seat and sat down.
I imagined they couldn't even begin to fathom that Teacher Chu, who had been missing all afternoon, had been in her office just a hundred steps away, making love with me for the entire duration.
It wasn't until the students had all left that I saw a graceful figure standing quietly at the end of the teaching building's corridor.
I walked over quickly. Since there were no other students around, I boldly wrapped my arm around Teacher Chu’s slender waist. We leaned into each other as we headed toward the first floor, and I only released the beautiful married woman once we reached the bottom of the stairs.
As I walked toward the school gate, chatting and laughing with Teacher Chu, I noticed that the Mercedes-Benz that was never usually absent was nowhere to be seen.
Beep—
A short honk sounded. Not far away, a car’s headlights flashed, the beams hitting Teacher Chu Ning and me.
Chu Ning’s expression shifted, though her face was hard to read under the glare of the lights.
She turned her head and whispered, "Didn't your mother come to pick you up?"
"No."
I opened my phone, my finger hovering over Mom’s WeChat. I looked down, wondering why she hadn't come to get me and hadn't even sent a message.
"Should I have Cao Yun give you a ride?"
"No need." I looked through the glare of the headlights at Cao Yun inside the car—Chu Ning’s husband in name only. I instructed her, "Go back and get some good rest."
"Mm."
Teacher Chu nodded gently. Without another word, she took elegant strides, her high heels clicking as she walked toward Cao Yun’s vehicle.
Watching Teacher Chu open the back door and sit inside, my eyes narrowed slightly, and a sense of satisfaction washed over me.
Cao Yun drove up to me, wearing a polite smile. "Do you need a lift?"
I shook my head in refusal. "No, thank you."
"It’s fine, hop in. I’m your Teacher Chu’s husband, so I’m basically your..."
He probably wanted to say he was my elder, but perhaps feeling that was inappropriate, he quickly corrected himself: "...basically your friend. You don't need to feel embarrassed."
I looked at the beautiful young woman in the back seat. Seeing the gorgeous wife sitting there so prim and proper, images of her moaning in pleasure beneath me just moments ago flashed through my mind.
I looked at Cao Yun, the corners of my mouth curling up involuntarily as I rejected his "kindness." "Thanks, but my mom will be here soon."
Cao Yun nodded, tactfully refraining from pressing further. After a polite farewell, he drove away.
...
At the school gate, my brow furrowed. The scene of Mom driving away in a huff this morning surfaced in my mind. Is Mom actually angry because of what happened this morning?
At the time, because of the situation with Chu Ning, I had snapped at Mom, calling her "self-righteous," which had caused the smile on her face to vanish instantly.
Hesitating, I sent Mom a WeChat message: Mom, school's out.
Over the next few minutes, I couldn't help but check my phone screen dozens of times, but unfortunately, Mom didn't reply.
I felt a growing sense of anxiety, mixed with a faint worry for her safety.
I knew Mom didn't have a driver or bodyguards following her. As a public figure, it was hard not to worry about her.
Unable to restrain myself any longer, I dialed her number.
The phone rang for about eight or nine seconds before someone finally picked up.
"Hello."
Hearing Mom’s gentle yet cold voice, I let out a long sigh of relief.
"Mom, I’m out of school."
"Mm," Mom responded softly. "I’m in a meeting."
I was about to say something more, but the line went dead with a busy tone.
I let out a bitter laugh at the sight of my phone. Not wanting to disturb her further, I hailed a taxi home.
I bought some ingredients at the fresh market in the residential complex and went straight back to the apartment.
Mom was at the company, and my little sister was at the girls' high school. In this large flat spanning hundreds of square meters, I was the only one. Once again, I felt the excessive coldness and emptiness of the place.
I made some stir-fried seasonal vegetables and sour soup fish slices. While the red bean glutinous rice ball porridge was simmering, I finished the homework the teachers had assigned today, then packed a portion of the food to take over to Song Yu.
Afraid of being caught at the door by Mom again, I didn't dare stay long at Song Yu’s place. I dropped off the food and left in a hurry.
Just as I stepped out of the elevator, a message arrived on my phone:
Song Yu: If it’s inconvenient, you don't have to come by in the future.
I quickly scrambled for excuses, sending several messages in a row. Song Yu didn't respond until I walked through my own front door. Only then did she say: I thought there was a ghost in my house that scared you off.
I smiled and sent a voice message: "I wouldn't be afraid even if there were a ghost. Sister Yu, do you want me to... stay by your bedside tonight to protect you?"
Song Yu didn't respond for a long time again. After five or six minutes, she sent an animated emoji of someone "bonking your head."
She didn't refuse, but she didn't agree either.
Her response was just like our current relationship—ambiguous and unclear.
Returning to the quiet living room, I waited for a long time. I stood up and sat back down repeatedly, feeling as if there were nails in my seat. I was restless, my mind filled with images of Mom.
I stood before the floor-to-ceiling window, looking out at the brilliant night view of Wanghai City, my brow tightly knit. Why isn't Mom back yet?
I stared at Mom’s WeChat profile picture on my phone, feeling incredibly frustrated.
I couldn't help but send her another message: Are you on your way back?
After a long wait, Mom still hadn't replied.
I hesitated no longer. I packed the food into an insulated lunchbox and took a taxi toward the Chiyue Group headquarters.
In the car, I contacted Mom’s personal assistant, Zhao Qing. By the time I arrived at the Chiyue Building, she was already waiting at the entrance.
The Chiyue Building was brilliantly lit; many people were still working overtime.
I handed her a small cake I had bought on the way. "Sister Qing, thanks for your hard work. Sorry to bother you so late."
Zhao Qing’s eyes crinkled into crescents as she took the cake with a smile. "It’s nothing. I haven't finished work anyway."
"This cake must have been expensive, right? Thanks, Lin Yuan."
"Just a small token."
I walked into the building with Zhao Qing. "Is my mom still in a meeting?"
"A meeting?" Zhao Qing looked confused. "President Chi isn't in a meeting."
I paused in my tracks. "She hasn't been in meetings all day?"
"That’s right."
"Then what is she busy with right now?"
Zhao Qing walked beside me. "President Chi has been working non-stop today. She hasn't rested since this morning. I tried to persuade her a few times, but she wouldn't listen."
Zhao Qing lowered her voice cautiously. "President Chi seems to be in a very bad mood today. She’s been wearing a cold expression the whole time..."
My brow furrowed deeply at her words. It seemed those reckless words from this morning had truly made Mom angry.
I nodded to show I understood and stepped into the elevator with Zhao Qing, remaining silent the whole way up.
When we reached the floor where Mom’s office was located, Zhao Qing tactfully turned and left.
Many of the offices on this floor were already dark, but Mom’s office was still brightly lit.
Standing in the corridor, I looked through the transparent glass wall at the tall, graceful silhouette standing quietly by the floor-to-ceiling window.
Gazing at Mom’s captivating back, an endless longing and yearning for her quietly flooded my heart. This distorted love was like a massive web, suffocating me.
I wanted so badly to stand behind her, to pull her tightly into my arms, to give her a shoulder to lean on, and to become the pillar of support for her soul.
