Chapter 45: Caught by My Little Sister Being Intimate with My Maternal Aunt (Part 1)
Chapter 45: Caught by My Little Sister Being Intimate with My Maternal Aunt (Part 1)
As I stepped out of Song Yu’s front door, a figure suddenly loomed before me, making my heart skip a beat.
My little sister, who had been hiding by the door, rubbed her head sheepishly and gave me a forced smile. "Brother..."
Looking at my pretty sister standing there, I was speechless. "What are you doing? Eavesdropping at the door?"
She pouted her little lips. "I wanted to, but I couldn't hear anything."
I pulled Song Yu’s door shut and walked with my sister toward the elevator. "You and your little schemes. You’ve actually learned how to stalk and eavesdrop now?"
She shot back, "What do you mean? I was just worried about you!"
"Worried about what?"
She stammered, unable to find the words.
I couldn't help but pinch the tip of her nose. "You jealous little thing. Were you afraid I’d be kidnapped by someone else?"
"Hmph!"
She let out a soft huff and wrapped her arms tightly around mine. "I was worried you’d be snatched away. So what?"
Seeing how possessive she was, I felt a mounting headache. If she ever discovered my relationships with other women, what on earth would I do?
"Fine, fine, fine..."
Her delicate brows furrowed, and she put on a fierce expression. "Spill it. Why were you in there for so long?"
"Was it that long? It didn't feel like it."
"Hey! We agreed on ten minutes, but you were in there for exactly fifteen minutes and twenty-nine seconds!"
"How petty. You even remembered the seconds."
She gave me a light punch to express her dissatisfaction. "Do I need to remind you whose boyfriend you are right now? Student Lin Yuan! As my boyfriend, what’s the deal with staying alone with a member of the opposite sex for so long?"
"My petty Student Lin Xi, do I need to remind you of the reason and purpose for my visit again?"
...
We bickered all the way back home, and the topic naturally drifted. I thought the matter had passed, but then she suddenly spoke up out of the blue. "Brother, do you have a photo of Song Yu?"
I looked at her as she tried to act nonchalant, feeling a bit amused. "What do you want her photo for?"
"Just to take a look. I want to see who has enough charm to leave my brother so head-over-heels."
I gave her firm buttocks a light swat. "That’s an exaggeration. We just go running together. How is that being 'head-over-heels'?"
She refused to let it go. "Do you have one or not?"
"Let me look."
I took out my phone and opened the photo album. I vaguely recalled taking a photo with Song Yu a long time ago.
"You actually have one?..."
Seeing my movements, her expression dimmed, and a look of unhappiness clouded her face.
I made a move to put the phone away. "Since you don't want to see it, then forget it."
"No, no!"
Seeing this, she snatched the phone from my hand and immediately began scrolling through the album.
I didn't mind. Given my habits, I wouldn't leave any "dangerous" photos in my album, so I wasn't afraid of her looking through it.
I didn't have a habit of taking pictures, so there weren't many in there—mostly screenshots of articles, landscape shots, and some family photos.
After flipping through for a while, her peach blossom eyes suddenly went wide. She shoved the phone screen right in front of my face. "When did you take this photo with Auntie?!"
"Huh?"
I looked at the screen, and my heart tightened.
It was a photo of me and my maternal aunt. Our pose was incredibly intimate: she was sitting right in my lap. Her naturally beautiful face was charming and radiant, and her cascading, wine-red wavy hair fluttered in the wind.
In the photo, my maternal aunt was laughing brightly and happily. Her red lips were slightly parted, revealing teeth as white as jade. Her arms were spread wide, making her look bold, high-profile, and confident.
But none of that was the main issue. The important thing was the exaggerated lipstick mark on my cheek—rose red and painfully conspicuous.
Damn it, how did I forget about this photo?!
It hadn't been taken that long ago; she had insisted on it right before she went abroad for a trip. Because it was a spur-of-the-moment suggestion from her, it had completely slipped my mind.
Fortunately—and this was the only saving grace—we were both fully clothed, and there was nothing indecent about it.
"Talk!"
My sister was fuming, her other hand already clenched into a tight fist. It looked like she wanted to give me a black eye and turn me into a panda.
"Oh..."
I intentionally put on a confused look. "What's wrong? Isn't this normal?"
"Normal?" She looked at the screen again as if she couldn't believe her eyes, her voice full of disbelief. "This is normal?"
"Is it not?"
She poked my cheek hard with her finger, right where the lipstick mark was. "Auntie literally kissed your face! How is that normal?!"
"You're making a fuss over nothing."
I pulled her into my arms. "Doesn't Auntie kiss you all the time too?"
She huffed angrily. "How is that the same? I'm a girl, you're a guy!"
"It's not like you don't know what she's like." I gave her a consoling kiss on the cheek. "With her personality, she does whatever she wants the moment it pops into her head. If she suddenly decided to kiss me, I couldn't exactly refuse, could I?"
She gave me a light pinch. "Why couldn't you refuse?"
"Oh, come on, it's a small thing. Are you really jealous of Auntie? She's our flesh-and-blood aunt."
She pinched me hard again. "I'm your flesh-and-blood sister too! And... and don't I still get bullied by you?"
I chuckled. "Don't worry. It's always Auntie bullying me; when have I ever been able to bully her?"
"Hmph."
She let out a soft snort, clearly missing the subtext in my words.
She shoved the phone back at me. "Find the photo of Song Yu."
Relieved that she wasn't digging deeper, I let out a quiet sigh, found the photo with Song Yu, and handed it to her.
In the photo, Song Yu and I had just finished a morning run. Her face was flushed, and a thin layer of sweat clung to her skin, making her look slightly tipsy and adding a touch of allure to her already beautiful features.
At that time, my relationship with Song Yu was still strictly "on the rails," so there was no physical contact, and we stood at a respectful distance.
Seeing Song Yu’s photo, my sister’s expression immediately grew tense. She bit her lip and said nothing, her brows furrowed and a hint of unease in her eyes.
Seeing her so worked up made me feel quite smug. I teased her, "What? Feeling a sense of crisis?"
"Psh."
She acted like she didn't care. "She's not even as pretty as me."
I smiled inwardly. Both my sister and Song Yu were gorgeous—tall, long-legged beauties—but they had completely different styles.
My sister was only sixteen, full of youthful energy; she was the "young girl" type.
The twenty-five-year-old Song Yu, however, was the "big sister" type—mature and elegant.
Regardless, both were one-in-a-million beauties.
My sister suddenly nudged me with her elbow. "What's with you? Why aren't you reacting?"
I was bewildered. "What's wrong?"
"I said I'm prettier than her. Shouldn't you immediately agree?"
I couldn't help but laugh. "Right, right, right. You're prettier than her."
Hearing that, a look of triumph appeared on her face. "At least you have good taste."
Just then, the phone chimed. A notification popped up on WeChat showing a message from Song Yu.
My sister was quick. She immediately grabbed the phone and tapped on the chat.
I protested, "Hey, can you respect my privacy?"
She kept her eyes glued to the screen. "Didn't I tell you? You have no privacy when it comes to me!"
Song Yu had sent a video. When we clicked it, it turned out to be surveillance footage.
In the recording, my sister was standing in front of Song Yu’s door, her ear pressed against it, looking completely suspicious as she tried to eavesdrop.
"Haha!"
I couldn't help but burst out laughing. "Look at you eavesdropping. You got caught!"
My sister’s face turned beet red. She tossed the phone back to me. "Go away! This is boring!"
Song Yu sent another message: "Your sister?"
I replied: "Yes."
My sister leaned her head in again, her eyes full of curiosity.
Song Yu: "She's really pretty. It seems she cares a lot about her big brother, coming all the way over here just to eavesdrop."
My sister looked incredibly embarrassed after reading that.
I replied: "Just a brat."
Song Yu replied with a smiling emoji.
I stopped there and didn't reply further. My relationship with Song Yu was "ambiguous" now; if we chatted too much, my sister might notice something.
