Chapter 42: Ambiguity with Song Yu
Chapter 42: Ambiguity with Song Yu
I tapped her little head. "You sure know a lot!"
"You're not allowed to go!"
My little sister immediately clung to my arm, emphasizing once more, "I won't let you go!"
Amused, I pinched her nose. "And why not?"
"Just because!"
Xixi pouted her little lips. "Who told you to get so close to her?"
"Are you jealous?"
She rolled her eyes. "I would never be jealous."
"Then let go of me."
"No."
"Be good, now. Listen to me."
Xixi gave me a gentle pinch. "Hey, do you even know whose boyfriend you are?"
I set the lunch box down, my expression turning serious. "Xixi, I’m the one who knocked her down, and she has no one to look after her. Shouldn't I help her out? Is delivering a meal really that much to ask?"
"But..."
I took her slender, soft hand in mine. "If you're that worried, come with me."
"I'm not going..."
"Then what do you suggest?"
Hesitation clouded Xixi's face. After a moment of uncertainty, she held up a single finger. "You have to be back in ten minutes."
"Deal."
I rubbed her head, picked up the lunch box, and headed out.
I entered the electronic lock password, and the front door swung open smoothly.
Song Yu’s home was silent; not a sound could be heard.
I walked to her bedroom door and knocked softly. "Sister Yu, are you awake?"
There was no response, so I knocked again, gently.
From inside the room came Song Yu’s muffled voice, sounding as though she were still half-asleep. "Who is it? Lin Yuan?"
"Sister Yu, it's me."
Her voice carried the lethargy of someone who had just woken up. "The door isn't locked. Come in."
I pushed the door open. Song Yu was tucked under a quilt, while the air conditioner hummed steadily, blowing out cold air.
I placed the lunch box on the table beside her bed. "Running the AC while buried under a quilt?"
Song Yu stretched two jade arms, white and tender as lotus roots, out from under the covers and gave a long, lazy yawn. "This is what I call enjoyment..."
"It's already this late and you're still not up? That doesn't sound like you, Sister Yu."
Her beautiful eyes were half-closed, only her small head peeking out from the covers. "My foot is injured so I can't go for my morning run. Can't a girl sleep in a little longer?"
"Fine, fine." I shook the lunch box in my hand. "I made some porridge. Want a taste?"
"Sure."
Song Yu rubbed her bleary eyes and propped herself up on the bed to sit up.
In an instant, I was dazed by the dazzling expanse of snowy white before me.
Song Yu’s upper body was completely bare. Her waist, supple from years of exercise, was so slender it could be encircled by a single hand. Her two perfectly sized breasts trembled slightly with her movements, their rosy tips tracing seductive arcs in the air. The skin was so pale and translucent that faint blue veins were visible, leaving me dazed.
My previous suspicion was correct—Song Yu really did like to sleep naked...
Which meant she likely wasn't wearing anything under the covers, either...
Song Yu seemed completely oblivious as she smoothed back her long hair. "What are you staring at?"
Confused, she looked down. When she saw her own smooth, bare, and pert breasts, she let out a sudden gasp. Her cheeks instantly flushed a deep crimson, and with a whoosh, she dove back under the quilt, leaving only her head exposed.
I awkwardly turned my head away, trying to change the subject. "Sister Yu, how is your foot?"
"I don't know..."
Song Yu shrunk her head back, murmuring in a low voice.
Though she was embarrassed, she was a woman in her twenties after all. She quickly regained her composure, the flush on her face gradually fading. "You little lecher, taking advantage of me again."
I voiced my protest. "Sister Yu, you were the one being careless. How can you call me a lecher?"
"Do you really think I believe that?"
Song Yu gave me a playful glare. "You've been acting all handsy since yesterday."
"Heh." I gave a light chuckle. "If you insist on saying that, there's nothing I can do."
Song Yu gave me a slight, scolding look. "Turn around."
"Alright, alright."
I obeyed.
After half a minute of rustling behind me, she finally said, "You can turn back now."
Song Yu had put on a white shirt. Whether intentionally or not, she had only fastened one of the three buttons on her chest, revealing a vast expanse of snowy skin and a deep cleavage beneath her jade neck.
She took the lunch box from the table and took a small sip of the thick porridge. "Did you run today?"
"How could I have the heart to run without you there to accompany me?"
I looked at her lovely face. "We bought a treadmill yesterday, so I ran at home this morning."
Song Yu looked surprised. "A treadmill?"
"Yeah." I nodded, my hand reaching out to gently knead her foot through the quilt.
"Oh..."
Song Yu gave a soft response, her expression calm and her reaction neutral.
"Does it still hurt?"
She answered softly, "A little."
Wait? Didn't you just say you didn't know how it was? It's only been a few minutes—how did it start hurting again?
Catching onto her little scheme, I said boldly, "Let me give you a massage."
Song Yu shook her head. "No need."
Thick-skinned, I slid my hand under the quilt and grasped her delicate jade feet, stroking them gently. "A massage helps with the recovery."
As expected, her refusal was only verbal. She quietly sipped her porridge, letting me stroke her pair of soft, beautiful feet.
Since the "window paper" between us had already been pierced yesterday, I stopped hiding my intentions. I called it a massage, but it was closer to lewdly toying with her jade feet.
Song Yu’s beautiful face grew flushed as I played with them, though she kept her red lips pressed tight and remained silent.
My fingers gently kneaded her small toes, the quilt rising and falling with my movements. I spoke up slowly, "Sister Yu, I'm in my senior year now. I might not be able to keep accompanying you on your runs all the time."
The hand holding her spoon paused for a few seconds. Then, she gave a slight nod. "Your studies are more important. What does a run matter compared to that?"
"Good." My fingers provocatively slid between her toes and across her soles. "But I'll still come to visit you often."
"Whatever works." Song Yu set the lunch box down, her expression flat. "It doesn't matter if I have company or not. You should focus on your studies."
My fingertips brushed over the top of her foot, her ankle, and then lightly stroked the smooth skin of her calf.
Song Yu looked slightly uncomfortable and curled her legs inward. "Alright, that's enough. You should head back. I'm fine here."
"Okay."
I didn't push my luck any further and withdrew my hand from under the quilt. However, as I pulled back, a small piece of fabric somehow ended up in my hand.
I stared blankly at the azure panties in my palm, which still held the warmth of her body.
What a coincidence. I actually pulled her panties out from under the covers?
I swallowed hard, my suspicion now fully confirmed.
For her panties to be loose near her calves meant she was definitely sleeping in the nude.
At this very moment, if I were to slide my hand up her thigh, I could drive straight into the secret depths between her legs.
The sudden turn of events made things awkward for both of us. Song Yu’s earlobes turned red. She lowered her head and reached out her hand toward me. "Give them here."
"Right." I hurriedly placed the warm panties into her hand, explaining frantically, "Sister Yu... I didn't mean to."
Song Yu tucked a stray hair behind her ear. "It's fine. I have a habit of sleeping naked. I often take my underwear off without even realizing it."
She spoke of this incredibly private matter with a flat tone, as if it were the most mundane thing in the world.
I, on the other hand, didn't know how to respond. I stood up to take my leave. "Sister Yu, I'll head back then. I'll come see you tonight."
"Okay." Song Yu’s expression remained calm. She reached up as if to unbutton her shirt, but noticing I hadn't left yet, her red lips curled into a slight smile. She looked at me and teased, "What? Haven't you seen enough yet?"
"Uh..."
I had no choice but to beat a hasty retreat.
