Rampaging Labyrinth, Day 76
Medical Angel had returned. Merino welcomed the dispatched returnee first, as always.
"Yangyang! Medical yang, welcome backyang!"
I thanked Medical for her hard work, then turned on the broadcast and asked the supporters about the status of Nokya's blessing. With Medical returning to the Ancient Labyrinth, the blessing might have weakened.
A little time passed. Then the chat resumed.
"Guess they were together. Thanks for checking anyway."
The blessing's power seemed intact. Well, it made sense. The previous guardian deity who had bestowed the blessing on Nokya had also left for another dimension. Unlike temporary buffs that weaken or break when the caster leaves, blessings like this were said to last permanently unless something interfered.
Afterward, to celebrate Medical Angel's return, Merino poured her heart into cooking a feast.
"You worked so hardyang! Eat lotsyang! Everyone else, eat upyang!"
[Ppii!]
[Jjapaan!]
[Thanks for the meal, Ppii!]
[Kyuyang!]
We all gathered and started eating. I chewed slowly, silently watching the supporters' chat floating in the air.
I nodded silently and kept eating.
Ellis's status window—I'd heard recently it was a grace from the Great Sage. And my earlier claim of never meeting a transcendent being? Retracted. The Great Sage was one.
I'd pegged transcendents at SS or SSS rank, but hadn't realized the Great Sage had that power, so I misjudged. We met after I got my unique ability, and she was hiding her strength then. I spotted her SS-rank instantly, though.
Reading the chat, I pondered the great migration using the Sky Ark in my head. Maria the Saintess said she'd board only non-villains by identifying souls. Not checking each one individually—that'd be impossible amid rescue, no time.
From the ark overlooking the ground, she'd board anyone whose soul wasn't purely black with darkness. Pure dark souls have no redemption, per her standards.
And my thought: The ark can take corpses too, so board non-villains even dead—dispatch Medical Angel later to revive. Corpses last priority, obviously.
Ark needs massive mana to operate... Dispatch Blood Jellyfish Princess. Her blood is mana, and loading her with Zapan's blood beforehand means no shortage.
After eating, while doing barebody exercises to digest and organize thoughts—
Coin price fluctuation chat popped up. Earlier than expected, but I'd anticipated changes soon.
As the world heads toward chaos and ruin, societal collapse erodes trust in currency. Natural that greed value in money drops. Real assets like goods and food rise instead.
No big signs on Earth yet, but the Ancient Labyrinth must've gauged and adjusted the exchange rate fast.
With Hwang Mi-reu's chat ending, coin donations flooded in.
