Night of Frenzy 7
As Han Pan followed her out, he spotted Eun-yeong leaning on the railing with her arms crossed, scanning the floor for the two of them.
"Ah, there they are."
She stretched out a hand and pointed.
Down below, two slender women were dancing as if they had melted into a single body. A crowd of men circled them, forming a loose ring.
Han Pan found himself thinking of something he'd once seen on National Geographic—a female surrounded by a swarm of males jostling and circling for the chance to claim her.
"Told you, right? Those two are something else, aren't they?"
Han Pan narrowed his eyes and watched.
Just as Eun-yeong had said, the pair looked completely lost in the music, bodies and rhythm fused into one. The big men around them mostly blocked the view, but he could still make out how the two women were pressed between a pair of guys, dancing as if being crushed into a sandwich. Their faces were close enough to kiss; their breasts were mashed together without any pretense of space. The men behind them kept shoving them forward, locking them into that sandwich formation. The women seemed to be laughing and talking to each other—until, in a sudden flash, So-jo kissed Mi-ho full on the lips, and Mi-ho didn't pull away. They traded soft, playful pecks, clearly enjoying themselves, while the two men behind them looked like they were having the time of their lives, hands on the women's waists, grinding their crotches against them.
The two really did look like sisters. Under the lights, Mi-ho especially seemed years younger than her actual age—exaggerating only a little, you could have mistaken her for someone in her late twenties. She held her own against every other woman on the floor.
They kept dancing like that, locked in each other's arms, wild and unrestrained. Their movements were sharp and fluid against the fast beat; they looked like they were truly living in it.
Han Pan and Eun-yeong watched the feverish performance for a long while.
Then the music shifted into something slow, and the whole atmosphere changed. Dancers began drifting off toward the edges. In no time the floor had transformed—from the animal world back into the human one—under soft, easy music.
Mi-ho and So-jo finally broke apart, whispered something into each other's ears, and started to leave the center of the floor. One of the men who'd been dancing behind them caught Mi-ho's hand and said something—probably asking her to keep playing. She tried to pull free and waved him off, but it wasn't easy. Her refusal was clear, yet the man still tried to drag her along by the wrist.
Han Pan started to move, ready to go down, but Eun-yeong stopped him.
"They can handle that much on their own. Just watch."
The words were barely out of her mouth when So-jo stepped forward. She slapped the man's arm away and jabbed a finger at him, saying something sharp. The man snapped back, angry; So-jo fired right back, even harder. Whatever she said, it worked—both men hesitated and backed off.
Knowing So-jo's usual personality, Han Pan figured that was more than enough. He let out a quiet breath of relief.
The men retreated. So-jo took Mi-ho's hand and led her affectionately up to the second floor. When they spotted Han Pan and Eun-yeong leaning on the railing, they waved brightly.
Looking at them, Han Pan thought, My mom and my sister are what people would call bitches.
Mi-ho and So-jo walked over to join him and Eun-yeong. Both of them still carried the glow of alcohol and the pure high of riding the beat.
"You two looked like you were having a blast."
Mi-ho felt a flicker of embarrassment, realizing he must have seen everything. So-jo was the opposite.
"Oh my? You were watching us? How was it?"
Han Pan grinned.
"Insane. Get the guys all worked up, slip away, get the next ones worked up—haha! Looked fun."
"Guys go crazy when we touch each other like that… for example, like this."
So-jo turned Mi-ho's face with one hand and kissed her on the lips in a flash. Flustered, Mi-ho instantly covered her sister's mouth with her own hand.
"This unnie's been giving me the biggest side-eye all night because Han Pan's here—hohoho."
So-jo laughed, bright and loose, clearly a little drunk. Mi-ho glanced at Han Pan, looking mortified, but he only watched them with a gentle smile.
He'd already thought So-jo had a solid streak of incestuous kink in her; now he could see Mi-ho quietly showing the same leanings. Looking at the two of them acting like affectionate sisters, he let himself imagine, just for a second, having sex with both of them at once.
"Mom, what's there to be shy about? Showing a little affection between family is only natural."
He stepped in and kissed her on the cheek. At the same moment So-jo kissed her other cheek. Mi-ho scrunched her face and tried to dodge, but she looked thoroughly pleased. When the kisses ended she dropped her gaze, shy.
Then a voice shouted from behind them.
"Mom! I've been looking for you!"
They all turned toward the sound.
A powerfully built man in his mid-twenties stood there with a woman about the same age. Both of them were striking—handsome and beautiful in equal measure. The man was a little shorter than Han Pan but still well over six feet, solid and stylish; the woman matched him. Dressed for the night's free-spirited vibe, they still couldn't hide a certain flash. The woman especially looked stunning in an elegant black dress that fell to her knees. They seemed like a couple—she had her arm linked through his.
"Oh my, Won-cheol… sorry. Mom got completely distracted hanging out with her friend—hoho."
"Mom, you still have to answer your phone."
"Ah, right—I totally forgot… sorry, sorry."
Eun-yeong waved her hands in apology.
Han Pan remembered: this was Eun-yeong's son. The man strode over with a big grin, then gave a short bow first to Mi-ho.
"Hello, Auntie. Have you been well?"
"Won-cheol, it's been so long. How have you been?"
"Oh my, Won-cheol oppa!"
So-jo waved happily as he approached.
"Hey, So-jo! Long time no see! I've been watching your broadcasts—you've been doing well, right?"
"Thanks… and who's this next to you?"
"Ah, my fiancée. Babe, say hello."
The woman beside him bowed politely.
"Hello. I'm Im So-eun."
Mi-ho picked up the thread.
"Oh my, Won-cheol's getting married?"
"Haha, yes. We've promised each other and we're preparing for it."
Mi-ho lightly smacked Eun-yeong's arm.
"Already sending your son off?"
Eun-yeong laughed.
"Hoho, looks that way… at this rate I might even become a grandmother soon… Anyway, sorry my son made you come looking for me. Did you two have a good time?"
"Of course! It would've been even more fun if you'd been there, haha."
"Won-cheol, this is my son Han Pan—you remember him?"
Won-cheol turned to look at Han Pan.
"Ah, so that's who it was! Long time no see! How've you been? I heard you went to the military—you're out already! Your face has changed a lot!"
"Hello, hyung-nim! It's been a while."
The woman beside him bowed to Han Pan as well.
"Ah, and this is the woman I'm marrying soon!"
"Congratulations!"
"Haha, we haven't set the date yet… but I'll send the invitation—make sure you come!!"
"Got it. We'll all come together!"
Mi-ho turned to Eun-yeong.
"So your party was your son and his girlfriend."
Eun-yeong nodded.
"Yeah, that's right… We were hanging out in another room. What do you think—want to join up and play together?"
"Sounds good!"
The six of them headed into a private room. Glasses were refilled; they tossed back drinks and shared toasts. Meanwhile the club music kicked back into a fast beat.
Mi-ho, Eun-yeong, and Won-cheol's couple fell into conversation—mostly about their love story and the upcoming wedding. So-jo got bored and looked at Han Pan.
"Want to go dance?"
"Huh?"
Han Pan glanced at Mi-ho. She nodded.
"Mom's a little tired now. You two go have fun."
Han Pan stood and caught up with So-jo, who had already headed out. Every time the hard lights hit her, the fabric of her clothes turned translucent, flashing the lines of her body without mercy. The afterglow of sex still lingering in Han Pan's body stirred again as they stepped onto the floor.
The place was already packed. They found a decent spot and slowly let the beat take their bodies. Han Pan moved left and right right in front of her; So-jo gradually melted into the rhythm until they were one with it.
A moment later a bold guy attached himself to her back. She turned her head, gave him a silent look of refusal, but he stuck stubbornly and kept bothering her. Han Pan frowned at him; the guy didn't care.
Then So-jo spun around and planted herself squarely in front of Han Pan. The man behind her met her eyes, looked awkward, and slowly turned away until he disappeared into the crowd.
Naturally, the press of bodies pushed So-jo and Han Pan together.
