After clearing the Ruined Fortress and Blood Mire Waterway Pavilion, paths open to the Great Forest and Epicenter of the First Yokai War.
But the Great Forest isn’t meant to be cleared. It’s there to meet the Swamp Sage and unlock a new character. If you’ve already unlocked it, feel free to skip the Great Forest.
