Manager App - Chapter 8: Breaking Her Will
“Auntie, what are you gonna do about this?”
While I waited for Kim Minseo's reaction, the voice of Yu Seoyeon—the woman in office attire—grew even louder. The atmosphere had turned downright hostile, like she might slap the older woman across the face any second.
Crazy bitch.
That phrase fit her perfectly.
...But seriously, why isn't she stepping in?
I glanced subtly toward Kim Minseo. For some reason, she had her lips pressed tightly together, head bowed low.
Is my guess off? No, she looks like she's agonizing over it... She must remember what happened in the Training Room.
I couldn't be sure. After observing her a bit longer, I pulled up the Manager App again.
Your current level is 1.
You can only train women within a 5-meter radius.
Please select a woman to train.
There are women saved in your list.
Would you like to view the list?
[Yes / No]
I immediately tapped Yes on the prompt asking if I wanted to view the saved list. Sure enough, the two women I'd trained before popped up on the screen.
Pleasure: Level 1 0%
Service: Level 0 0%
Pain: Level 0 14%
Shame: Level 0 71%
Anal: Level 0 0%
Pleasure: Level 0 54%
Service: Level 0 0%
Pain: Level 0 0%
Shame: Level 1 0%
Anal: Level 0 0%
Just as I thought.
Confirming it matched my expectations perfectly, I selected Kim Minseo right away.
Select Kim Minseo?
[Yes / No]
I tapped Yes without hesitation.
Proceed directly to the Training Room?
Caution: You cannot return until training is complete.
[Yes / No]
I hit Yes on the final prompt, and everything went pitch black for a moment before the decadent interior of the room materialized around me.
No matter how many times I saw it, the space never felt familiar. Yet ironically, the more I got used to it, the fonder I grew of it. Who knew? I might end up coming here more often than my own studio apartment.
“No way.”
I let out a bitter chuckle, grabbed a mask from the wall, slipped it on, and stepped into Room 1.
“Eek!”
The moment I entered, a shrill cry escaped the woman. From her reaction, she definitely remembered me. Well, duh—we'd just met moments ago. She wasn't a goldfish.
Tsk tsk. Clicking my tongue, I approached her and spoke.
“Did my words amuse you, Kim Minseo?”
“S-Sorry! I'm sorry! It was all so dreamlike, I got confused! I swear! Send me back, and I'll stop Seoyeon for sure! Please? Forgive me!”
“No. There's no 'next time.' I'm done with a woman like you.”
With that, I picked up the whip hanging on the wall. Her face drained of color as she looked up at me, tears starting to stream down.
“Waaah, I'm sorry! Really, really sorry! I messed up. I'm begging you, please forgive me! If you do, I'll definitely stop Seoyeon!”
“Another lie?”
“No! It's not a lie! I swear!”
“I don't sense any sincerity.”
I deliberately mocked her in a sneering tone, then stared straight at Kim Minseo and raised the whip to shoulder height—as if a slight swing would lash her body viciously.
“P-Please...”
At the sight, Minseo trembled violently, tears splashing down. She was shaking in pure terror. The whip in my hand was that intimidating: long, thin, gleaming like snake scales.
But what made it truly frightening was the eerie whoosh it made slicing through the air. That sharp ssaeak ssaeak sound alone was enough to make my legs go weak—and I was a guy. How must she feel?
“Kim Minseo.”
“Kyaak!”
The instant I called her name, I swung the whip. Crack! It slammed into the chair beside her.
“Oops, I missed. Sorry about that. Next time, I'll hit my mark for sure.”
“A-Ah...”
I apologized in a slightly regretful tone, then straightened my stance. She groaned repeatedly before shuddering and pleading toward me.
“...Please spare me! Please! I-If you hit me, I'll die! Please, spare me! It was all my fault! I'll do anything, so please... Kyaak!”
I swung again, the whip grazing past her and cracking against the floor. A piercing scream burst from her lips.
“Can't you shut that mouth? I can't aim properly. Should I lay you flat and whip you then?”
Saying that, I deliberately planted my foot on the chair she was bound to.
“H-Hiiik! Hiiik!”
A high-pitched squeak leaked from her lips.
Eh, that should be enough intimidation.
I smirked faintly at her reaction.
“Can you stay quiet next time?”
“P-Please spare me... I'll do anything. Please... Please, I beg you! Sob sob.”
She finally burst into full sobs, pleading with me. At the same time, I noticed her pants growing damp. Looked like she'd wet herself when I swung the whip earlier.
“Is that promise real?”
“Yes! Really!”
She nodded frantically.
“Good. At least those words feel genuine.”
“Ah...”
I set the whip down, and relief washed over her face.
“But you still need to be punished. You broke your promise to me, after all.”
“P-Punishment...?”
She trembled like a leaf, asking fearfully—probably dreading another whipping.
To reassure her, I gently stroked her shoulder and spoke.
“Don't worry. I won't whip you or anything.”
“R-Really?”
“Of course. Unlike you, Kim Minseo, I keep my word.”
I chuckled and pressed the button on the chair to release her.
“...Get up.”
“Huh?”
“Why are you so surprised?”
She gave a puzzled look but obediently stood. Meanwhile, I gripped the whip tightly, wary of any tricks.
Good, no signs of that.
Thankfully, Kim Minseo followed my orders, rising from the chair and standing before me. She was trembling occasionally, avoiding my gaze—clearly terrified.
From her perspective, I must look like the devil incarnate.
Who else could drag someone—without anyone, even herself, noticing—to a place like this? Only a demon.
Defying a demon like that? Even the boldest wouldn't decide lightly.
