Vital Energy Rewards and Level 3
Settling Vital Energy from training.
Please wait a moment.
User has acquired 55 Vital Energy.
(Cumulative Vital Energy: 95)
“Oh……”
The moment I checked the amount of Vital Energy I’d just acquired, I couldn’t help letting out a little gasp of admiration. I hadn’t even imagined I’d get this much.
Does the amount of Vital Energy awarded increase based on the stage?
Like how you get more experience points from slaying high-level monsters than low-level ones.
…Yeah, that makes sense.
Nodding to myself in agreement, I closed the Manager App and waited for Yu Seoyeon. Of course, I couldn’t be sure if she’d actually show up, but if she’d taken my words to heart, she’d definitely come back to apologize to the ajumma.
Ding-a-ling.
“Oh, welcome.”
It was then. The restaurant door swung open, and a familiar woman came into view.
She’s here.
She had a super pissed-off look on her face, but the woman who stepped inside was unmistakably Yu Seoyeon.
“Ajumma, where are you?”
“Yes?”
“The ajumma who spilled kimchi soup on my clothes!”
Shouting like that, she scowled hard and started scanning the restaurant. Spotting the ajumma right away, she marched straight over.
“Ajumma!”
“Y-yes?”
Startled by Seoyeon’s sudden shout, the ajumma responded with a surprised expression. Seoyeon shot her a haughty glare, then pointed at the kimchi broth smeared on her skirt and spoke up.
“I won’t make you pay for the dry cleaning, so don’t worry about me anymore. Got it?”
“Pardon? Oh, yes! Got it, I won’t.”
“Good. Then we’re square, right?”
With that, she turned on her heel and headed for the door. But just as her foot hit the threshold, Seoyeon suddenly spun back around, glaring at each of the men sitting in the restaurant one by one.
“……”
Of course, as one of the guys at a table, our eyes met too.
What’s this about?
Her gaze was so intense, like she was trying to interrogate me about my identity, that cold sweat broke out on my skin. But I didn’t look away or avert my eyes. Dodging now would be like admitting guilt.
“……”
After locking eyes for a few seconds, she abruptly whipped her head away, glaring at the other customers in turn before bellowing like she was making a declaration.
“Hey, you shitty bastard! Just you wait! I’m gonna find you and throw your ass in jail!”
With that shout, she spun around and stormed out of the restaurant.
“What the hell……”
“She’s been acting crazy like that for a while now, that girl.”
The customers all wore baffled expressions at her behavior. And who could blame them? To everyone else, it looked like Yu Seoyeon was just throwing a solo tantrum. She’d even brought the cops over talking about sexual harassment. No one could see it in a good light.
Except for one person. Me, the guy who knew her full story.
Just you wait, huh…
I chuckled to myself, quickly finished my meal, and stood up. After paying, I stepped outside and strolled along, pondering the Manager App.
“So, what do I do with this thing now?”
It had been useful so far, but dragging real-world women into it felt iffy. And it couldn’t even be deleted… Sure, I could just ignore it, but that didn’t sit right either.
Should I just get a new phone?
It was extreme, but if nothing else worked, it might be worth it.
“Or maybe I should think it over slowly? It’s not hurting me or anything.”
Letting out a light sigh, I ambled back to my studio apartment.
“Hmm.”
Kicking off my shoes, I flopped face-first onto the blanket spread out on the floor. Fishing my smartphone from my pocket, I launched the Manager App.
“…Let’s start by looking for a delete option. Maybe it’s hidden in here somewhere.”
With that thought, I tapped through the menus.
Raise your level to 3 to access the shop.
Raise your level to 5 to access Otherworld Quests.
“Level restrictions, huh……”
With a short groan, I pondered for a moment.
Should I check the other stuff first?
I tapped more options, but they were all blocked by level limits. A few weren’t, though.

So right now, all I can access is user info, Training Room details, and the stored list.
There were more restrictions than I’d expected.
…And no way to delete the app, either. No settings menu?
I hunted for a settings option everywhere, but there was no menu for it.
“What the hell is this thing! No company name, no developer info……”
Not even an official homepage. You’d think there’d at least be a cafe or forum, but it was like a ghost made this app—no info at all.
“…Wait! Info?”
I bolted upright, closed the Manager App, and searched “Manager App” online. Maybe someone else had it too.
But nothing came up anywhere.
Yeah, figures…
Sighing deeply, I flopped back onto the blanket.
“Guess I should level up first?”
It wasn’t super appealing, but it seemed necessary to unlock more info. Plus, didn’t Sun Tzu say something like that? Know yourself and your enemy, and you’ll win a hundred battles!
Alright, screw it—let’s do this!
Firing up the Manager App again, I headed straight to user info and leveled up.
The range for viewing the women’s list has increased from 10m to 20m!
You can now train women up to two ranks higher than yourself.
You can now raise the women stored in your list!
“Raise?”
Was it the “raise” I was thinking of? The real deal, not training? I eyed the word suspiciously and hit confirm. Better not jump to conclusions. After all, I’d picked Eunha based on the app name and regretted it big time.
Oh yeah, I should check on Eunha’s status too…
If it was the Eunha I knew, she’d brush it off no problem. But the one dragged into the Training Room…
…Which is the real Eunha?
The version in the Training Room felt more natural, but seeing the real one all this time created a weird disconnect.
“Finish this first, then go check.”
Sighing lightly, I tapped the screen with my thumb.
A free gacha ticket has been awarded as a reward.
