First Encounter
"Sunbae."
"Suuun-bae! What have you even been thinking about this whole time?"
"Ah— wait, sorry. I zoned out for a second."

I'd zoned out so hard I'd gone and made my adorable junior pout.

Yu Seola. A pretty face, and a personality so gentle that guys and girls alike had made her the undisputed star of our department. I'd gotten lucky — she'd been the one to come up and say hello at the start of the semester, a junior kind enough to befriend even a loner like me.
Making a junior like that sulk was simply not allowed.
"Sorry. I was just lost in thought for a second. What were you saying?"
"Hmph... I asked if you'd seen the monsters too, Sunbae."
"Monsters...?"
"You know, the ones that keep showing up on the internet."
"Ah— yeah, I think I've seen those."
"Aren't they terrifying? Every photo I've seen is of something grotesque or just... hideous."
The monsters.
For the past few months, an urban legend had been circulating on social media and internet forums — stories of unidentified creatures appearing out of nowhere and attacking people. No one knew why they'd shown up. All the internet had to offer were empty warnings: don't walk alone, stick to crowded places. Advice that did nothing but stoke people's anxiety. And since nobody around us had actually seen one, most people still treated it as just another internet ghost story. And yet...
"Maybe it's all just an urban legend? I don't think anyone's actually seen them in person."
"Yeah... probably, right?"
Seola nodded at my words and swept a glance around us.
The place we were walking was a quiet stretch of the residential villa alleyway, a little off the main road. A hushed neighborhood where people only trickled by now and then — the kind of street where someone could vanish and no one would ever know.
"...Huh?"
Seola stopped dead and stared toward the trash collection area tucked in the corner of the alley. I followed her gaze without thinking.
In the gloom at the foot of the wall, huddled among blue plastic bags and a heap of garbage, something small was curled in on itself.
"Meeow..."
A pitiful little voice reached us as we drew closer. It was a kitten — a tiny scrap of yellow fur.
"Ah— Sunbae, look at that. I think it's hurt!"
Seola's face went wide with alarm, and she rushed over and dropped to her knees. I hurried after her, worry already filling my eyes.
"Hey there, little one? Are you okay...?"
Without a hint of hesitation, Seola reached out and carefully gathered the injured kitten into her arms.
Looking it over, it didn't seem badly hurt — but it did look utterly exhausted.
"Doesn't look like it's seriously injured... but just in case, let's take it to a vet nearby."
Seola started out of the alley with the kitten in her arms, heading for the hospital — and that was the moment.
"Sunbae... over there. What is that...?"
At the tremor in Seola's voice, I slowly lifted my head.
The residential villa alleyway, so peaceful only moments ago, had already warped beyond recognition. The air itself rippled, filthy and distorted, and from between the asphalt and the crumbling walls, grotesque living things came crawling, slithering into the open.
They looked as if they'd been assembled from a mass of tentacles.
These were not the monsters I'd seen on my phone screen.
They were something the human mind was never meant to comprehend — something so viscerally repulsive that the mere sight of them made my skin crawl.
Thump. Thump. Thump—!
My heart slammed against my ribs like it had gone insane. My vision swam, and the blood in my veins ran ice-cold.
What the hell is that?
My mind burned white as panic crashed over me. My legs locked. I couldn't take a single step.
A terror so vicious it brought tears to my eyes clamped down on every inch of me.
"S-Sunbae! We have to run!"
In that instant, Seola — who had every reason to be even more terrified than I was — seized my wrist in a merciless grip. That cool, firm warmth finally snapped me back to my senses.
We spun on our heels and ran with everything we had.
The sound of my own feet hammering the asphalt tore at my ears. Behind us, the noise was something else entirely — a colossal, ground-shaking pursuit that clung to our backs, close enough to touch, rumbling through the earth as if the street itself were heaving.
"Hah, hah...! This is insane, this is insane, somebody help me...!"
A coppery taste burst across my tongue. Breath clawed up my throat until I thought it would tear. My legs were already trembling beyond my control, and tears blurred my vision until I could barely see what was in front of me.
But panicking and running blind was exactly what did us in.
A shriek of rubber — then a hard stop.
The instant I threw myself around the corner, what rose up in front of me was a massive concrete wall.
"...Ah."
There was nowhere left to go.
High villa walls boxed us in on both sides. Straight ahead was a dead end. With nothing in our heads but the single thought that we had to get away from the monsters, Seola and I had simply fled down whatever path we could see — and now we'd run ourselves straight into a corner, with no choice but to stop.
"Sunbae... what do we do now?"
No sooner had the words left her mouth than the monsters came pouring in after us.
There was nowhere left to run.
"Nnh... stay away...!!"
Trembling with fear, I stumbled backward and shouted at them not to come any closer — but they paid my desperate wish no mind at all. Step by step, the monsters closed in on Seola and me.
And then they had us. Restrained.
"Yah— what is this... what the hell?! This feels disgusting — let go of me right now!"
I thrashed with everything I had, fighting them with all my strength. But the monsters were so powerful that my weak arms couldn't force even the slightest give. They would not let go.

"I... I don't want this. What are you trying to do to me...?"
Slowly, layer by layer, the monsters began peeling my clothes away, toying with me as they went.
"Nnh... hah... why are you doing this? Stop it!!"
As if savoring every reaction, their grip tightened further, and they started groping at my chest.
"Nnhh... it's disgusting, hah... I said let go of me!"
Squeeeeeze — ♡
These... these things were squeezing and fondling however they pleased, warping the shape of my breasts as they played with them...
Before long they stripped my pants away, and their touch reached the sensitive place between my legs.
Don't tell me these monsters are trying to...?
As if answering that thought, they started groping at my rear. At the same time, a tentacle crept toward my belly — and something like a pattern was carved into my skin.
"Nnh... and what is this weird-looking mark supposed to be...? And don't touch me there!"
A bizarre pattern has been branded upon the abdomen.
Light flares from the mark — the body grows hypersensitive.
Light spilled from the crest, and all at once my body began to turn unbearably sensitive. The monsters' touch, which until now had felt like nothing but revulsion, started to change, little by little.
"What did you do to my body..."
I asked, but no answer came. After the mark was carved in, their hands only grew rougher — more persistent, more relentless.
"No... ah... not that, you can't, ah...!"
They groped my chest without rest, their movements sliding back and forth between my thighs, and slowly my sighs turned sweet. My eyes began to glaze over with pleasure.
In a situation like this, the fact that I was starting to feel good was more humiliating than anything else.
"Wait— ah...! I hate this, nnh..."
I have to hold on. If I just endure it, someone passing by will help us...!
That's right... Seola. Is Seola okay right now?
Worry for the girl who'd come here with me clawed up through everything else, and I called her name like I was drowning.
"Seola!"

"Haahn... n-no more... they've touched me so many times, nnh...!"
Seola already had no room to even look my way. Her body had been given over to the monsters, toyed with until she could produce nothing but moans.
"Nnhh... d-don't... stop rubbing me there... ♡"
"Nnhh...!! ♡"
While I hadn't been able to look, climax after climax had already been carved into Seola's body — and she was spilling over, helplessly.
"No way..."
I had to hold on. I had to.
That resolve amounted to nothing. Between the ceaseless stimulation and the sight of what they were doing to Seola, my mind and my body finally gave in. Amid the terror and the shame, pleasure burst apart inside me.
"Yah— haah... no... I hate this... nnhhh ♡"

Restrained, my body jerked and arched, exposing a climax I was utterly defenseless to hide. The first sexual pleasure I'd ever felt while being toyed with like this carved itself into me as a terrible memory.
"Nnh... hah..."
There was no time to even sink into the afterglow of that first climax. The monsters' hands never stopped. The thought that no one was coming to save us filled my head, and despair came with it — and then, hungry for a worse defilement still, they tore my panties away and pressed a huge, hideous, penis-shaped tentacle against me.
To be violated by a monster. That nightmare was about to become real.
In that instant, a voice spoke inside my head.
Need some help, nya?
The words arrived so suddenly that I froze in confusion.
Wh-what...? There's a voice all of a sudden... have I finally lost it?
Those things are demonic beasts, nya. They were chasing me, and it seems they were drawn to the power radiating from your soul and attacked, nya.
What is any of that supposed to mean...? Who even are you?
I don't think that's what matters right now, nya. You look like you're in danger. Need some help, nya?
I... I don't really get it, but... I don't care what it is — just help me!
In that moment, the kitten Seola and I had brought with us suddenly sprang forth, loosing a burst of yellow light that shoved back the demonic beasts binding me.
"You're... that injured cat. How did you suddenly...?"
"That's not what matters right now, nya. All I did was push them back for a moment. You're the one who has to fight, nya."
"F-fight? Me? Against these things, myself?"
I couldn't even put up a fight a second ago — I just sat there and took it! How am I supposed to fight these things?!
"It'll be fine, nya. I'll help you, nya."
"E-even if you help me, how am I supposed to deal with those?"
"I don't have much strength left, nya... so you're going to form a contract with me, nya. A contract between your soul and mine, nya."
"My soul...? You can't just go around contracting something like that, can you?"
"It won't be all that bad for you, nya. And in this situation, do you have another option, nya?"
"That's... true. This isn't the time to hesitate. Okay. I'm counting on you."
"Understood, nya. I'll be in your care from now on, nya."
A contract shall be formed between the Contractor's soul and the yellow kitten.
In exchange, power shall be granted to fight the demonic beasts.
It will not be all that bad for you, nya.
In that instant, light erupted from my body, and a change began.
"This is...!"
