Political Marriage Bed (2)
I wanted to show her the virgin blood from her first time in a monumental way. After all, she would never see it again. But if I did it now, the menstrual blood would make that impossible. And more than that, even if we did it today, she wouldn't get pregnant.
“Let’s just hold hands tonight.”
“D-did I disappoint you by getting my period without any tact…?”
“No. I came here to see you, not for that. It’s fine. I want to talk with you all night. Oh, are you in pain from the cramps?”
“My lord!”
Princess Irene seemed deeply moved by my straightforward words. She threw herself into my arms and rubbed her cheek against my chest.
“You really are such a warm person. I’m so happy to have been taken in by someone so kind.”
Even though we couldn’t consummate our relationship, Princess Irene’s heartfelt gratitude sent me straight to heaven through her mouth and breasts. Her oral skills were clumsy and nowhere near enough to make me cum, but the sensation of sliding my cock between her massive tits was nothing short of artistic. She was shorter than Dana, yet her breasts were larger. Much larger than Adelia’s.
“I-is this the right way to do it?”
She asked shyly while squeezing her own breasts together with both hands, watching my shaft rapidly thrusting between her jiggling mounds.
“You’re doing great, Princess. It feels amazing.”
“So this is how men and women make babies… I-I’m shocked…”
“Ugh! Ah, Irene!”
The moment she finished speaking, my semen erupted and splattered mercilessly across her face.
Two days later, at dawn, the very first army I would ever lead marched proudly toward Cluiston territory amid the citizens’ thunderous cheers.
Her reflection in the river looked utterly pathetic. She hadn’t washed her face in days, so it was pitch black, and without any makeup she looked at least ten years older.
“At this rate I look like I’m in my late fifties.”
Unia let out a dry chuckle as she stared at her haggard appearance. She washed her face clean with river water, combed out her messy hair, and tied it back tightly using a plant stem.
It was a foggy morning. Her stomach was growling, and just then she spotted some women who had come to gather wild herbs. She approached them and begged for something to eat. They looked at her with indifferent eyes as if she were a beggar, but fortunately they tore off a piece of the hard bread they had brought for a snack and gave it to her.
“You’ll be blessed for this.”
Unia smiled and turned away. She chewed on the hard, tasteless bread while hurrying along. She headed downstream where a stone bridge had been built to cross the wide river. The riverbank was quiet and peaceful, and she kept seeing fallen trees half-submerged and rotting in the water. She wished she could find an abandoned raft or small boat by the shore, but no matter how hard she looked, there was nothing.
Instead, she found a horse. A man dressed in black leather with a tattered cloak was holding the reins and lying face-down by the water, drinking. She wanted to sweet-talk him into lending her the horse. If that didn’t work, she was even willing to knock him out and take it. Walking had become unbearably tiring.
Before approaching the man, she took out Sohee just in case and checked its surface.
“It was supposed to warn me of danger.”
But the golden surface remained completely still. Unia clicked her tongue. Figures it’s broken, she thought, and was about to put it back in her pocket when she suddenly heard rustling from behind.
“Got you.”
When she turned her head, a woman wearing a black robe was grinning at her. Upon closer inspection, it was Ludmila.
“Where were you headed? Lanchester? Harmel? If it’s Harmel, you’re going the wrong way.”
Unia felt all the strength drain from her body in an instant.
“You found me. Did you come alone to catch me?”
“One person is more than enough. I’d appreciate it if you came quietly.”
As she stared at Ludmila, she felt something wriggling at her feet. She looked down without thinking and flinched. The same monster that had killed Lady Ronda was flicking its tongue and staring up at her.
“So you killed her.”
“I’m not proud of it, but yes, I did.”
“Does Lord Cain know?”
“It was what he wanted.”
Unia let out a long sigh. The thought of being taken down by these two made her blood boil slightly.
“You pieces of trash.”
When she spat out the insult, Ludmila laughed and pulled out a chain, throwing it onto the ground. The monster picked up the chain with its mouth and was about to wrap it around Unia’s legs when—
Lord, what do I do now? If they catch me this time, it’s over.
Just as Unia fell into despair, she felt Sohee trembling violently inside her pants pocket for no apparent reason. It shook wildly as if responding to her prayer, as if begging to be taken out. The right pocket vibrated like an aspen leaf, drawing Ludmila’s gaze.
“What do you have in there?”
Unia silently took out Sohee and placed it on her palm. Ludmila examined it closely, then narrowed her eyes.
“What is this object used for?”
“I don’t know.”
“I’ll have to confiscate it.”
The moment Ludmila reached out to grab it, Sohee suddenly emitted an explosive flash of light. Ludmila screamed as she and the monster were blasted far away. When the light subsided, Unia stared at Sohee in shock.
“I-it wasn’t broken after all?!”
“How dare you pull a cheap trick!”
Ludmila, who had rolled across the ground, shouted in fury as she quickly pushed herself up. She stretched both arms toward Unia and began chanting a spell. The air trembled, the surrounding trees danced wildly, and leaves rained down. Unia’s eyes widened as she flinched. The moment she tried to step back, black smoke-like energy erupted from Ludmila’s palms. Two strands of it shot toward her like spears.
“Damn it!”
Unia’s face turned deathly pale as she stumbled backward and fell hard on her ass. At that exact moment, Sohee flashed again. A powerful wave erupted with Unia at its center. Golden ripples surged in all directions, bursting the monster’s body apart and sending Ludmila flying once more, inflicting serious injuries. Ludmila coughed up a mouthful of blood and lost consciousness.
“T-that was awesome!”
Unia, who had narrowly escaped death, broke into a bright smile and hurriedly got to her feet. She shoved Sohee back into her pocket and drew her dagger. She planned to run over and finish Ludmila off.
If I kill that witch, that’s half the battle won.
The moment she took a step forward, a leather-clad arm suddenly shot out from behind and wrapped around her neck.
“Ugh!”
“Looks like I’ve hit the jackpot.”
It was an unfamiliar man’s voice. When she saw his face, it was the same man who had been drinking from the river before she ran into Ludmila. He was quite tall with an ugly face—an extremely unattractive man.
“What the hell are you doing!”
“Stay still.”
“Let go! Let me go!”
When she struggled violently, a blade was pressed against her throat. Unia froze.
“Hey, miss. From the looks of it, you must be some special envoy from the Richard family, right?”
The man leaned in close with a sinister grin.
“What about it? Who the hell are you? Are you with that witch?”
“Don’t lump me in with that mad lord’s lackey. I’m just a wandering mercenary.”
“Then kill that witch!”
“That’s got nothing to do with me. I don’t want to make enemies with the Cluiston family for no reason.”
The man replied indifferently. Leaving Ludmila where she was, he picked up the chain from the ground and expertly tied Unia’s arms behind her back, then dragged her toward his horse.
“This is insane.”
Unia clicked her tongue in frustration at her situation, having been captured once again.
“What are you planning to do with me?”
When she asked with a tense expression, the long-haired man with brown curly hair grinned, revealing his yellow teeth. His already ugly face looked even uglier.
“What else? I’m going to take you to Lord Cain and sell you for a hefty ransom. Or maybe to Lord Richard. Either way, it doesn’t matter. I’ll sell you to whoever offers the highest price. That’s my job.”
“Why hasn’t he sent even a single letter!”
Adelia frowned, clearly irritated. She had been grumbling frequently lately about the lack of contact from Kang Hyun-woo, but today was especially bad.
“It must be because of that Dana princess. With her by his side, he probably doesn’t feel like he’s missing anything!”
Adelia, who had been putting on her military uniform with the help of her maids, suddenly flopped onto the bed and pounded the sheets with her fists.
“It feels like I’m the only one who likes him!”
Sinclair approached her.
“Please calm down. There must be another reason.”
“No matter how busy he is, isn’t it strange that he hasn’t sent even one letter? He clearly doesn’t like me!”
Sinclair glanced at the two maids who were wearing awkward expressions and gestured for them to leave. Once the maids hurriedly closed the door and exited, Adelia buried her face in the blanket and began sobbing. Sinclair spoke again.
“He’s probably preoccupied with settling into his new position right now. Just wait a little longer.”
“If he loved me, he would write a letter even while eating! Being busy is just an excuse!”
With tears glistening in her eyes, Adelia sat up and suddenly opened a large bag on the floor, beginning to pack her things.
“I’m going to him! I’m going to see with my own two eyes what he’s so busy doing that he can’t even send one letter!”
“You can’t do this, Lady Adelia! We still have work left to do here!”
Sinclair tried desperately to stop her, but Adelia threw a tantrum and refused to listen, stuffing clothes and cosmetics into the bag. She was dead set on going and wouldn’t hear a word. She even shoved Sinclair hard enough to knock her over.
As time passed and Adelia’s rampage showed no signs of stopping, Sinclair looked extremely troubled.
“H-how about sending a letter first?”
“I don’t want to!”
“Your pride won’t allow it, I suppose…?”
“The first letter has to come from him! I refuse to send one first!”
Adelia wanted to meet Hyun-woo again and have sex. She wanted to have sex while eating. She wanted to have sex anywhere and everywhere. This was the peak of her heated passion now that she had fallen in love. The more she thought about him every day, the more her body burned with desire, yet there was nowhere to relieve it and he wasn’t even contacting her. She felt like she was going crazy from frustration.
It wasn’t just because she liked sex. She simply wanted to whisper sweet words with the man she loved and be held in his arms. She wanted a passionate romance that burned brightly like everyone else’s.
“If the reason he hasn’t contacted me is because of that princess, I’ll kill them both and then kill myself.”
