The Dragon Bone Gift
My lust was stronger than it had ever been. Crushed beneath the overwhelming pressure of becoming a lord, I unleashed raw, impulsive, uncontrollable desire and ravaged Dana without restraint, scolding and tormenting her in a frenzy.
“Hah! Hah!”
Dana seemed to adore the way I acted like a wild beast. Throughout the entire act, she wore an unexpectedly ecstatic expression, drooling uncontrollably without even realizing it. Her eyes had gone completely crossed, unable to focus properly. It was the first time I had ever seen her so thoroughly ruined. On one hand, that unfamiliar sight was strangely cute. On the other, I felt a surge of pride knowing I had pleasured her to the point of losing her mind.
“Ugh! I’m coming!”
The moment I released inside her with a powerful climax, all the worries about the uncertain future that had cluttered my mind washed away like debris in a waterfall. My head cleared, and fresh energy surged through me. A smile naturally formed on my lips. I leaned down and kissed Dana’s flushed cheek as she gasped for breath.
She had become a great source of strength for me. The dark clouds hanging over my unknown future seemed to part, and I felt like I could finally look at life with positivity.
But having poured out every last drop of strength, my body was exhausted. I lay down on the rock beside Dana, thinking I would rest for a bit before heading back, when suddenly the sound of clapping reached my ears.
“Amazing! This is the first time I’ve seen a man fuck with the same raw power as our captain!”
Unia appeared, clapping with an admiring gaze. I sat up, narrowing my eyes.
“What the hell? Why did you follow us?”
“You two disappeared together so quietly, I figured something interesting was going to happen. And I was right. Following you was absolutely worth it.”
She wiped the drool from the corner of her mouth and giggled.
“Wow, that was seriously killer. Even I almost passed out just watching in secret. Look at her—she still can’t pull herself together.”
She pointed at Dana. The sorceress was still sprawled on the rock, looking dazed and dreamy. Her body was flushed bright red and burning hot as if she were running a fever. Every so often, her lower body would twitch with the lingering aftershocks of the climax she had just experienced.
“My goodness, she must have felt incredible to end up like that. I’m so jealous, so jealous.”
Unia’s eyes sparkled as she stared hungrily at my spent member.
“I want to know what it feels like too.”
“Shut up.”
I stood up, covering myself with the clothes that had been lying nearby as if to say it was out of the question. I quickly dressed and looked down at Dana. She must have been utterly exhausted; her eyes were already closed, and she was breathing softly in sleep. I kissed her forehead gently.
“I’ll head back first.”
I glanced at Unia.
“Go ahead and come back with Dana later.”
“Captain. No, Lord. I guarantee you’re the absolute best in this field. You’ve got the handsome face, the incredible sex, everything a woman could want. You’re the ultimate weapon of pleasure!”
“That’s enough. I’m leaving.”
“How sad. I’m complimenting you and you’re so cold.”
She put on an exaggerated pout. Of course, I knew it was all an act.
“Save the embarrassing compliments.”
“Next time I’ll sneak in and watch again~”
“Don’t even joke. I won’t be doing it outside anymore.”
“Oh, really? Hehehe.”
Unia flashed a lewd, mischievous grin, clearly enjoying herself. I left the two of them behind and walked back toward the campsite alone.
It was fortunate that Unia had shown up. Thanks to her, I wouldn’t have to feel awkward reappearing in front of everyone after disappearing for a while. If Dana and I had returned together, everyone would have guessed what we’d been doing in the forest. But if she came back with Unia, no one would suspect a thing. They’d simply assume we’d been patrolling the area.
Still… no one would think I’d touched both Dana and Unia at the same time, right? Surely no one would entertain such a ridiculous delusion.
“Did you enjoy yourself with Lady Dana and Lady Unia?”
Apparently someone would.
“Why are you coming back alone instead of with them?”
Epibia stood blocking my path with her arms crossed, looking thoroughly displeased.
“It’s a misunderstanding. Nothing like that happened.”
“It is not a misunderstanding. It smells. It smells so strongly I want to smash that cock of yours with a hammer. Dwarves have excellent noses. The fishy smell of male milk is very distinct regardless of species. Right now, Captain… Mmph!”
Her voice was growing louder, so I quickly covered her mouth and whispered urgently.
“Nothing like that happened, so keep your voice down. Got it?”
“Mmph, mmph.”
When Epibia obediently nodded, I released her.
“Haaah! I couldn’t breathe!”
She bent over, taking deep breaths. As I smiled and tried to walk past her, she hurriedly grabbed the back of my collar.
“What now?”
“Th-this is a gift.”
Epibia suddenly looked shy as she respectfully held out a sword wrapped in white cloth with both hands.
“You’ve been going to the forge every day. Were you making this for me?”
“Y-yes. I wanted to give Captain a good sword as a present…”
“Really?”
I accepted the sword with a wide grin. When I removed the cloth and drew the blade from its sheath, a magnificent sword with a dragon engraved on its silver-glowing edge was revealed. The blade was so razor-sharp that it looked like it could slice a falling piece of paper in half without effort. I could instantly tell this wasn’t just a famous sword—it was a divine blade far beyond ordinary weapons.
The aura it emitted was no joke. It was monstrously powerful. I had accepted it thinking it was just a small gift, but once the cloth was removed, it was clearly no ordinary item. My eyes widened in shock.
“H-how did you make something like this?”
I was beyond impressed; I was practically trembling with awe.
“I named the sword Dragon Bone. It is absolutely not Dragon Born. It is called Dragon Bone because it was made from dragon bones. If you get it wrong, I will be very upset and there will be big trouble.”
After hearing the full story, I learned that back when our Kether Mercenary Group had raided Lapilwood’s residence, Epibia had taken a massive amount of gold, silver, and treasures from his bedroom along with the dragon bones. She had used all that money to purchase the various materials, mithril anvil, and mithril hammer needed to create the Dragon Bone. All the materials and tools had been delivered from her hometown—the dwarven city—via wyvern courier.
“Can I really have this for free? You’re giving me something this precious…?”
“I made it for Captain to use. Ahem.”
Epibia cleared her throat and shrugged her shoulders.
“A man should wield a long blade. Small blades are only for peeling fruit.”
“I feel bad accepting something this valuable for free. Is there anything you want? Anything I can do for you? Just tell me.”
I was in such a good mood from receiving such a rare treasure that I felt like granting her any wish she might have.
She opened her mouth as if she had been waiting for exactly that.
“Th-then… here…”
She held out the back of her small, soft, plump hand and spoke in a bashful whisper.
“Please give me a k-kiss on the back of my hand. That will be enough.”
“Really? Just that?”
“Yes, really.”
A kiss on the back of the hand? That was all? In my current mood, I could do so much more.
“Alright!”
I grabbed her hand and planted three firm kisses on the back of it. But I didn’t stop there. I kissed the top of her head, then her forehead, then each cheek once. Finally, I cupped her face with both hands and gave her a long, lingering kiss on the lips. I didn’t use my tongue—just pressed my lips firmly against hers.
Even so, Epibia looked as delighted as if she had received an unexpected treasure. Her eyes suddenly spun and she made a dizzy, lovestruck face, nearly falling backward. I quickly caught her and smiled brightly.
“Thank you. Later, I’ll give you a gift that’s just as amazing as the Dragon Bone.”
“I-I feel like I’m flying. I kissed Captain. Ehehe, ehehehe…”
She was so happy that she didn’t seem to hear a word I said. For a long while, she remained completely dazed with a silly grin on her face.
We woke up early. Starting with the ever-diligent Epibia just before dawn, everyone gradually rose. Jane and Kelly rekindled the dying campfire and hung a pot over it to boil fish stew. Flavio, who had been on the last night watch, approached slowly while yawning.
“Boss, I’ll skip breakfast and sleep a little more. Ack!”
He received a sharp elbow to the side from Kelly, who was standing nearby. She gave her younger brother a stern warning.
“Didn’t I tell you not to call him boss?”
“Ah, right. He’s a lord now. Lord. Hehe.”
“It’s fine. You’ll get used to it eventually.”
I smiled and told Flavio he could catch some sleep until we set out. He rubbed his side, lay down near the campfire, pulled a blanket over himself, and was asleep in seconds.
While breakfast was being prepared, I decided to kill some time by taking out the Dragon Bone that Epibia had given me the night before and swinging it through the air a few times. It was heavier and more substantial than a dagger. The muscles used were completely different too. Although I was clumsy with one-handed swords, I liked this blade so much that I felt a strong desire to learn how to use it properly this time.
I felt a little sorry for my Shadow Dagger, but it looked like the Dragon Bone might become my main weapon. Its appearance was so magnificent that I wanted to draw it all the time. After this experience, I realized just how exceptional dwarven craftsmanship truly was. The fact that even young-looking Epibia could create such a superb sword with the skill of a master artisan was simply astonishing.
“That is a magnificent blade.”
When I turned my head, an elderly knight in white armor smiled and bowed politely. It was Ristein Schuler, the old knight who had come as Princess Irene’s escort.
“It does not look like it was made from ordinary steel.”
“I received it as a gift from my dwarf friend. I was told it was made with rare metals.”
The elderly knight Ristein Schuler, whose appearance radiated strength, courage, and generosity, had become good friends with Marcus after joining our group. The two men, who were similar in age, were often seen laughing heartily and exchanging jokes. I was glad Marcus finally had someone to talk to.
“It seems that friend of yours likes you very much, my lord.”
Ristein glanced at Epibia, who was rummaging through a cart loaded with all sorts of miscellaneous items nearby.
“People often say dwarves are selfish and greedy. It is quite rare to see one give someone a gift.”
“And yet, as you can see, I received an incredible treasure for free.”
I held up the Dragon Bone for him to see.
“People mock dwarves for being greedy, but it seems they actually have very generous hearts.”
“Perhaps she is simply special?”
“Well, we are quite close.”
“Her innocent, pure-hearted appearance is so adorable that even I enjoy watching her. Anyone would be envious if they heard you had such a kind-looking dwarf as a friend.”
