Chapter 628: Daoist Yin-Yang Manual[R-18] (173)
Upon arriving in Nanjing, I split up from the three women.
Ha-myo, Seo Ryeo-hwa, and Bi-yeon were likely exploring the city streets. They weren't just sightseeing, of course. On the surface, they were enjoying a leisurely stroll, but in reality, they were checking to see if the Pursuit Squad had arrived.
I had separate business to attend to and headed straight for the Haomun branch.
Jiangsu Province was the territory of the Demonic Faction, a place where the influence of the Four Dark Alliances ran deep. Even so, the Haomun couldn't operate with a sign hanging openly out front.
The Haomun has always been a gathering of the weak. Just because we're part of the same Demonic Faction doesn't mean they'll protect us. In fact, we're lucky if we don't get noticed and picked clean.
I pushed open a shabby door and stepped inside. The place was filled with the clatter of liquor cups and boisterous noise, but the moment I entered, a few gazes shifted subtly. Though the chatter continued, their eyes were now following me.
The portly owner saw me and flinched, his body stiffening. That small reaction was all I needed to know. There was no one left in the Haomun who didn't know what I looked like.
"Sir… I will guide you inside."
Without any unnecessary words, I gave a quiet nod and followed him. We moved deep into the building down a narrow corridor, where a door in the wall opened. The owner gestured toward the room and bowed low.
"The branch leader is inside."
"Understood."
I opened the door and walked right in.
Inside, only a few candles flickered dimly. Liquor bottles were scattered across a table where a middle-aged man sat slumped in a chair, a cup in his hand. The tip of his nose was flushed red, a clear sign he'd had more than just a drink or two. He was tilting his cup with drowsy eyes when he sensed my presence and looked up.
In an instant, he was terrified.
"Sir… Sir Jin!"
He nearly dropped his bottle as he shot to his feet, his expression hardening in a flash.
"Wh-what brings you here… so suddenly…?"
I didn't rush. I slowly took a seat and tapped the table with my fingertips.
"There's something I need you to do."
"And what might that be…?"
I took the treasure map from my robes and placed it on the table.
"Make copies of this and spread them throughout the Central Plains on the day I specify."
"This… may I take a look?"
"Be my guest."
He carefully unrolled the scroll. A moment later, his eyes filled with shock.
"Th-this is… a treasure map, isn't it?!"
"You're hurting my ears. Keep it down."
"M-my apologies. But… Sir, if this is a real treasure map… why wouldn't you keep it for yourself…?"
"The secret vault held nothing of value. However, it's perfect for sowing chaos, which is precisely why I'm using it."
The branch leader's eyes widened.
"D-don't tell me, Sir… you're going to use this to…?"
He seemed to have a rough idea of what I was planning. As expected of the Haomun, who survive on their wits.
"I don't see any need to explain my plan to you in detail, do you? Just do as you're told."
"I'm sorry… I overstepped…"
"More importantly, where is Oh Ha-rang now?"
"Rakshasi Oh Ha-rang… Because of what happened in Hefei, she changed course and headed there instead."
I narrowed my eyes.
"She went to Hefei?"
"Yes. And… this is an urgent report that came in this morning, but the Pursuit Squad that was at the Namgung Clan has also headed for Hefei."
I fell into thought for a moment, tapping my fingers on the table before slowly rising to my feet. I then took a pouch full of gold coins from my waist and tossed it in front of him.
"I understand. This is for your trouble."
A heavy thud echoed on the tabletop. The branch leader's eyes went wide as he clutched the pouch, gasping.
"My goodness…! S-so many gold coins…!"
I didn't reply and simply opened the door and left.
I can't believe what I did in Hefei would make Oh Ha-rang turn back from Nanjing.
My original plan was to toy with Oh Ha-rang in Nanjing and take the Meteorite Iron.
Just kidnapping and raping her is no fun.
I glanced up at the sky, mulling over a more entertaining method.
Hmm… should I try seducing her?
Forcing myself on the man-hating Oh Ha-rang would be less thrilling than making her fall for me of her own free will.
I'm curious to see her reaction when she finally realizes she's been deceived by me.
Evening came, and my women returned. Just as the street lanterns began to light up one by one, heralding the start of the Nanjing night, Ha-myo, Seo Ryeo-hwa, and Bi-yeon entered the room.
"Darling, I found some delicious food at the street stalls, so I bought some," Seo Ryeo-hwa said, sitting down beside me.
"There was no sign of the Pursuit Squad," Bi-yeon added, nonchalantly setting down a fruit basket with a smirk. "But I did hear some interesting stories at the market. Sounds like things are getting messy over in Hefei."
"Oppa! I saw so many amazing things today!" Ha-myo exclaimed, her eyes sparkling as she snuggled up next to me and whispered.
I listened to each of them, sometimes nodding, sometimes joking, before getting to the point.
"Oh Ha-rang changed course. She's heading to Hefei instead of Nanjing."
"Huh? Doesn't that mess up your plan?"
"That's why I'm going to Hefei myself. I don't know if she's still there, but I have to find her anyway."
"Then what should we do?" Seo Ryeo-hwa asked.
I slowly looked over the three women and answered, "The three of you will proceed with my plan as scheduled."
Bi-yeon tilted her head. "What are you plotting now?"
"Turning a man-hating beauty… into a woman madly in love?"
"Oppa, are you going to seduce a woman?"
"That's right. And I think you might make a new friend, Ha-myo."
"A friend…?"
From what I'd heard, Oh Ha-rang was just turning twenty. With Ha-myo being nineteen, they were the perfect age to be friends.
"Could you tell us the plan in detail?"
"I'll approach the Pursuit Squad as my true self, not as the Bewitching Lecher. Meanwhile, the three of you will act as the Bewitching Lecher's companions and stir things up for them."
At my words, Ha-myo's eyes widened. "I get to be a lecher, too?"
I smiled and nodded. "Yes. You'll now play the part of the Bewitching Lecher's lover. Should I give you a title?"
"A title?!"
Seo Ryeo-hwa was the Golden Thread Demoness, and Bi-yeon was the Blue-Green Demoness.
I let my gaze wander over Ha-myo's body for a moment, then smiled.
With an ass and breasts that voluptuous, it's best to highlight them.
Ha-myo blushed and fidgeted. "Hehe… Oppa, if you stare at me like that… I think you'll get turned on again."
"Myo-ah, from now on, you are the Voluptuous Enchantress."
"Voluptuous Enchantress…?"
"Yes. A title inspired by your lewd and luscious body."
"Ew… that's so weird," Bi-yeon interjected with a complaint, but Ha-myo seemed to like it. She quietly mumbled her new title and smiled shyly.
"Now, I'll tell you the detailed plan."
I entered Hefei in my original form.
Before passing through the capital's main gate, I managed to pick up some rumors from the merchants and porters I met on the road.
They said the city went to hell because of the sexual aura after I left.
Apparently, for two whole days, massive orgies had erupted one after another throughout Hefei.
Cheong-un of the Pursuit Squad, in particular, hadn't just been violated by the men of her own squad. She had reportedly engaged in a wild orgy with countless men who had been within range of my sexual aura.
The Orthodox Faction was, quite literally, in an uproar. Cheong-un had been designated as the next Sect Leader of the Emei Sect. Moreover, the Pursuit Squad was supposed to be the tip of the Orthodox Faction's spear. For them to be so easily swept up in a crucible of lust was a complete loss of face, their reputation now in tatters.
As I passed through the gates of Hefei, a strange tension filled the streets. People avoided eye contact, their steps awkward. They appeared calm on the surface, but they were blushing and exchanging signals with their eyes.
I headed straight for the place where Mo-yong Yeon-ah was staying—one of the most luxurious inns in Hefei. Unlike my last visit, however, the area around the inn was now heavily guarded by men and women who were clearly members of the Pursuit Squad.
As I reached the entrance, two men blocked my path.
"The Pursuit Squad has rented this inn for the time being. Don't ask why. Find another place."
I tilted my head back slightly and looked up at the inn's floors. I could recognize the aura from beyond the window. It was Mo-yong Yeon-ah.
"I am here to see Miss Mo-yong. Tell her Jin Seo-yun has arrived, and she will know."
One of the men gave me a suspicious look before heading inside. A moment later, I heard the sound of light footsteps from within the inn.
The door opened, and Mo-yong Yeon-ah rushed out.
"Young Master Jin!"
She threw herself into my arms as if she had been waiting.
The Pursuit Squad members standing nearby witnessed the scene, their faces hardening. Their gazes were a mixture of jealousy and confusion.
I lightly wrapped an arm around her waist.
"Miss Mo-yong, have you been well?"
"Yes, Young Master Jin. It's truly… been a while."
There was a subtle emphasis on her last words. Conscious of the eyes around us, she was skillfully acting her part.
Just then, a man walked out from inside the inn.
"Ahem… Miss Mo-yong, who might this gentleman be? Would you care to introduce us?"
"Ah, Commander Dan. This is Jin Seo-yun of the Jin Family of Jilin."
"Jin Seo-yun… of the Jin Family of Jilin? Wait, I've heard that name before. Don't tell me… you're the disciple of the Sword Empress?!"
I nodded and replied calmly, "I am lacking, but I am Jin Seo-yun, who has received some teachings from the Sword Empress."
The man's face lit up. He stepped forward and clasped his hands together.
"A pleasure to meet you! I am Dan Ri-hyeon, the Lightning Swordsman. I am leading the Pursuit Squad."
"It is an honor to meet someone of your great renown."
"We shouldn't stand here. Please, come inside. I'll introduce you to the others. I'm sure the rest of the Pursuit Squad will welcome you."
Mo-yong Yeon-ah immediately chimed in from my side. "Then, Young Master Jin, please follow me this way."
Dan Ri-hyeon led the way, and Mo-yong Yeon-ah gently took my arm to guide me. As we entered the second floor of the inn, the martial artists of the Pursuit Squad, who were seated at various tables, all turned to look at us.
Three people sitting at a round table in the center particularly stood out.
First, an old man with a beard that reached his chest. The plum blossom crest of the Mount Hua Sect was neatly embroidered on his white martial arts uniform, and his sharp eyes held a heavy dignity. This had to be Jang Do-gyeom, the Transformation Realm master representing the Mount Hua Sect.
Beside him sat a middle-aged monk in long robes. His deep-set eyes and thick prayer beads immediately marked him as someone from the Shaolin Temple.
Then the bald man next to him must be Master Hyeon of the Vajra Hall.
And finally, there was a woman in a red Daoist robe. Her black hair was adorned with red ornaments, and contrary to her alluring figure, her eyes were cold and her lips were pressed into a firm line. When our eyes met for a moment, she frowned slightly.
So this must be Oh Ha-rang.
Her beauty was as exceptional as the rumors claimed, but it was a beauty clearly lined with thorns.
They say she hates men, and her gaze certainly shows it. She'll be a thrill to break.
