Chapter 275
“We can do it next time.”
“Sure, I'll make it up to you then.”
Choi Yujin smiled contentedly at Hanyaseong, who wasn't pushing his luck. She'd been worried he might ask for more, but thankfully, he didn't. Of course, she would've obliged if he had, but his restraint made her grateful. It got her thinking—what could she do for him in return?
“Classes start tomorrow, so wanna meet up tonight?”
“You're busy. Department stuff and club meetings.”
“I won't party all night, so I'll head back to the dorm around midnight. How about tomorrow night at 12 there?”
“Sure.”
He agreed without much thought—nothing better to do anyway—until Reina crossed his mind. They had plans to meet in the other world tomorrow, and he might accidentally blow it off.
“I might not make it, so if I don't show, don't wait.”
“Why? Got some meeting? Mystery club is all you've got, right?”
“Just in case. The department might keep me.”
“Then call tomorrow night and update me.”
“Okay.”
With that, Hanyaseong put her in a taxi. She said she'd head home tonight—didn't want her dad getting suspicious two nights in a row at the dorm.
Hanyaseong kept walking a bit farther. The beer's warmth still lingered on his breath. Alone again. Nothing to do in this world either. Without sex with Choi Yujin or Jang Euna, there was no reason to stick around. Why was he getting bored with both worlds? Too much already? He figured he was just too full—sated.
He could fuck Choi Yujin or Jang Euna anytime, and in the other world, he reigned like a god. No pent-up desires left. Hence the boredom. Was there no real thrill left?
Maybe bring the suit and flyer here, take a spin. The world would lose its shit—UFO headlines every day. Armies from the other world who'd tangled with him here would freak, recognizing Tan Yagrane's tech. They might scramble jets to shoot him down. Over there, it was guns and bombs, but here with cutting-edge weapons, they'd come hard. Might even be fun. At least not boring.
He walked until it got tedious, then cabbed home. Around 9 p.m. Couldn't portal to the other world, so he ordered late-night snacks and killed time with variety shows and movies. Midnight hit quick. Bedtime. He packed his bag for classes and lay down.
People really needed purpose. Without it, life dragged. Hanyaseong breathed steady, thinking of fresh starts tomorrow, and drifted off.
The campus buzzed with students for the new semester. Everyone in fresh outfits, heading to lectures in clusters. Hanyaseong slung his bag and walked to his Cultural Contents major class.
In the lecture hall, classmates chattered about break—jobs, study abroad, trips. He quietly took a back-corner seat, bag down. No close friends, no greetings needed. The room hummed with tales of part-time gigs and overseas adventures.
He sat silent, waiting. He'd been on grand adventures in the other world. Their stories didn't impress or interest him. Just wished he had someone to chat with.
Professor arrived; lecture began. Ten minutes in, already bored, sleepy. How to survive college like this? Everything bored him lately, lectures worst. Suddenly craved basketball outside over this.
He endured the grueling two-hour slog. Finally over, lunch time. Student cafeteria packed. Long line for a tray. Then no seats. Held it, waiting. Spots opened; he dashed, beating others to one. Nearby students filled in too.
Amid the chatter, he ate alone quietly. Normal for him—rarely ate with anyone here anyway.
Suddenly, a tap on his shoulder. Looked up: senior Choi Yujin.
“Huh?”
Her face soured at his surprise.
“Aigoo... eating alone?”
Her eyes brimmed with pity, like he'd been abandoned. He didn't get why solo lunch was so sad.
“Here for food?”
“Yeah. Saw you, came over.”
Choi Yujin sighed inwardly. In this sea of students, Hanyaseong eating alone tugged at her heart. No friends, no crew—had to be lonely. Opposite of her life; she'd never eaten alone, always with friends or underclassmen.
She figured his deeper isolation explained clinging to her. Needing company, even if for sex. Reminded her of the deserted-island loner she'd first met—quiet, invisible amid crowds. Not the beast who'd ravaged her pussy and ass yesterday and the day before. This seemed his true self amid people: ordinary, ignored.
“Yujin senior, what're you doing?”
Underclassmen from her department called from behind.
“Go eat.”
Everyone glanced her way; Hanyaseong urged her off. Queen of campus—eyes followed her everywhere. Pretty girls drew stares, like he'd eyed Kwon Seoha and her friends.
“Got it. Eat up.”
She wanted to join but couldn't with juniors watching. Pat on shoulder, then left.
Public dating? No way. She'd be hounded if known. Hanyaseong blended in too well—no one'd peg him as a ripped kicker beast. Just average joe to them.
He glanced at her joining the group, then resumed eating. Her casual shoulder-tap drew stares, but no big deal—just acquaintances. No one knew he'd wrecked her holes and snapped pics last two days. Superiority surged. He alone savored her nude secrets. Ignorance bred indifference. Public couple? Jealous glares, “Him with her?” Scrutiny, hate, trash-talk. Secret dating wiser—less hassle.
Lunch done, he rested on the campus field bench. After afternoon gen-ed, headed to Mystery Club room.
Club prez senior Jang Euna had texted. Into the annex building—bustling with club-goers. Fourth floor, knocked twice, opened door. She was cleaning the table, looked up.
“You're here.”
“Yeah. Alone?”
“Yep. Others after classes.”
Hanyaseong shut the door, stepped behind her, and smack—slapped her bouncy-looking ass with his palm.
