Stay Still
Stay still.

On a sweltering Saturday afternoon in mid-June, with the asphalt baking under the heat, I met Nayeon again. I parked near the meeting place and waited for a moment; soon, in the distance, I spotted her walking toward me, mask on, scanning her surroundings as she came. Her outfit was plain — a white T-shirt and a skirt so dark it was almost black — but that very simplicity only made the fresh, unspoiled air of someone who had just turned twenty seem even more vivid.
When I got out of the car and walked up to her, she met my eyes and gave me an awkward little smile. A week had passed since I’d last seen her, and because of exam season she looked a little worn down; faint shadows had settled beneath her eyes.
“Have you been well? You look tired. Is it because of exams?”
“Ah... yes. You’ve been well too, mister?”
It had been a while, so there was a slight, uncomfortable awkwardness between us.
“Yeah... What do you feel like eating?”
“I’m not that hungry, so should we just get something like sandwiches?”
We hurried into a nearby café to escape the sun. Back when distancing rules were still strict, the place was nearly empty. We sat across from each other in a corner, took off our masks, and ordered iced Americanos and sandwiches. Once the youthful face that had been hidden behind the mask was fully revealed, a strange tension settled back over us.
“What are you going to do when break starts? Do you have any plans?”
“I’m going back to my parents’ house in Seoul and helping out part-time at my aunt’s shop. And maybe I’ll hang out with my friends for a bit... What about you? Don’t you have any special plans?”
“Not really. Work hasn’t settled anything yet. I might have a few business trips.”
Nayeon picked at her sandwich and then took a laptop from her bag. She had complained tearfully the day before that some strange window kept popping up and that it was a disaster; tucked into the same bag was a perfectly fine iPad for her remote lectures. Even though I knew this was just a clumsy excuse to meet me, I smiled gently and pretended to examine the laptop seriously.
“It’s worse than I expected. If I run a proper diagnostic and clear the system, it’ll take some time.”
I stalled for a while, opening and closing random program windows as if I were fixing things, all while eating the sandwich and drinking coffee, and then I put on a grave expression and suggested the next step.
“If we sit here like this, you won’t be able to study for Monday’s exam. Want to go somewhere quiet where nobody will notice us, like last time? You can finish studying comfortably there, and I’ll take responsibility for fixing this beside you. Nothing’s going to happen, so don’t worry.”
It was an absurd suggestion, but maybe she wanted the same thing. After hesitating for a moment, Nayeon finally accepted my proposal disguised as consideration. We left the café, got back into the car, and I turned the wheel toward a quiet suburban hotel room where no one’s gaze would ever reach us.
The room was chilled by the air conditioner. In the silence, cut off from the noise outside, Nayeon climbed onto the bed, lay down on her stomach, and opened her iPad. Dense text files for her major filled the screen, and she tried to concentrate as she moved her pencil.
I set my laptop on the desk, opened a completely unnecessary command shell window, and launched a diagnostic program. After confirming that English text was flowing steadily across the screen, I dragged my chair over beside the bed.
“Looks like you’ve got a ton to memorize. Are you understanding it all right?”
As I spoke casually, I leaned in close to where she was lying facedown. In the narrowed space between us, the faint scent of her shampoo mixed with the smell of peach-colored cosmetics and tickled the tip of my nose. I nearly lost myself in the scent of her youth, but I kept my fatherly smile in place and lightly stroked her hair, pretending to study the screen over her shoulder.
“Stay still. You must be tired.”
At my words, she turned her head to look at me. Then I casually reached out and took hold of her slender ankle, which rested at the edge of the bed. The sudden contact made her body jolt, going rigid with surprise.
“Ah... mister?”
“You’ve been sitting all day studying for exams. You must be tired, so I’ll just massage you a little.”
I began pressing slowly from her ankle up to her calf, working in measured strokes. At first she seemed flustered, but my touch was careful and professional enough that the knotted muscles eased more than she expected, and soon she relaxed and turned her attention back to the iPad.
I kneaded the tight muscles in her calves, then gently pressed along her ankles again and pulled each toe one by one, giving her a thorough, soothing massage. I kept my expression composed, but as my arousal climbed, so did my hands. When I stimulated the soft flesh behind her knee, a faint, involuntary sound slipped from her lips. Balancing on that razor-thin line between massage and skin contact, I let my fingers wander toward the tender inner flesh of her thigh.
My hands moved with a teasing rhythm — half caress, half knead — skimming the edge of what was proper as my palm savored the firmness of her thigh and climbed higher and higher. Nayeon could no longer focus on studying; the hand that held her pencil began to tremble. At last, the tips of my fingers brushed the line of her panties hidden beneath the thin skirt. Following the smooth curve of that line, I traced it slowly, and the atmosphere in the room thickened until it felt ready to burst.
Just then, the smartphone lying on the bed vibrated loudly, shattering the silence. When Nayeon checked the caller ID, her eyes wavered, unable to settle. I leaned close to her ear and whispered low enough that my lips almost brushed it.
“It’s fine. I’ll stay quiet, so just answer. You can pretend you’re studying at your apartment.”
After hesitating, she finally pressed the call button.
“...Yeah. I’m studying. Uh, yes, I’m at my place. I already ate lunch, just something simple a little while ago.”
I couldn’t hear the person on the other end clearly, but it was a man’s voice, and from the tone it was obviously her boyfriend. Her voice trembled ever so slightly as she lied right in front of me, saying she was “at her place” to another man.
What the man said over the phone was that he was coming to see her tomorrow, on Sunday. To a girl whose last exam was the day after tomorrow, he wasn’t coming to help her study, only to satisfy his own wants when it suited him. The selfishness of it made anger boil inside me. At that moment, black, sticky jealousy and a craving to dominate her flared hot in my chest.
Whether she was on the phone or not, my hand, which had stopped at the edge of her panties, seized both sides of the fabric without hesitation and yanked hard toward the center. The thin cloth tightened, exposing the pale flesh of her ass with helpless openness. When I roughly squeezed that springy curve,
“Khh—ngh...!”
Nayeon coughed as if she’d choked, a startled little sound escaping her at the sudden stimulation. Right there in front of me, I dragged my fingertips harshly across the center of her panties, over the swollen, narrow seam pressed between her cheeks. Nayeon turned her head in shock to look at me, but I met her eyes squarely and pressed deep against the place that was already hot and throbbing.
“N-no... I just, uh, think I got something in my throat and choked a little.”
She desperately swallowed down the moan trying to break free and forced out the lie to the man on the phone. Seeing that expression — shame and pleasure tangled together — I shoved my fingers into the narrow opening of those taut white panties without hesitation.
“Ah...!”
Nayeon swallowed a short cry and struggled to pull away. Since she was on a call, she couldn’t make noise, and she couldn’t move freely either. Tears gathered at the corners of her eyes as she shook her head, begging me not to, but I stared back at her like a predator blinded by jealousy. My fingers were already ruthlessly working through the wet, intimate fold that had grown slick under my touch.
“Tomorrow... after I finish studying... then... mmng...!”
Nayeon bit down on her lower lip, stifling a moan. When I curved my fingers and drove them into her most sensitive spot again and again, the hot, soaked place clenched tightly around them. The look in her eyes as she pleaded with me to stop, as if she were about to cry, was unbearably, deliciously provocative.
I deliberately pushed my fingers deeper, coaxing a harsher sound out of her. Pinning down the waist that was trying desperately to resist, I used my other hand to grab both sides of her panties and yank them down in one rough motion.
“Eek!”
At that instant, her phone slipped from her hand and fell onto the bed. Caught in the shock of being bent over with her lower body fully exposed, she hurriedly snatched for it again.
“Sorry, I... tripped over the charger cord and dropped the phone. I think I really need to focus on studying now. I’ll call you later.”
She hung up as if escaping, then lay facedown on the bed, breathing hard. She hadn’t even finished trying to protest to me before the call ended. I gave her no chance to offer a single excuse or complaint. I lunged straight in and buried my face between her hips. Through the cool air of the air conditioner, the thick, hot scent seeping from her deepest place numbed my brain. Like an animal, I began licking greedily at her wet, tender flesh.
“Ah... mister! Wait, haah!”
Nayeon’s protest soon dissolved into a thin moan. The tip of my tongue, heated by jealousy, plunged into her and shook the last of her reason loose. I grabbed her ass with both hands and pressed more relentlessly, more obsessively. Whether she aced the exam the day after tomorrow or failed it no longer mattered. At that moment, my only goal was to make her cry out while feeling nothing but me.
Nayeon’s waist arched like a bow as she clutched the bedsheets tight. The hand that had been meant to push me away was now tangled helplessly in my hair, wandering without direction. My feral thirst was being carved, one stroke at a time, into her pale skin.
Inside her, she was already at her limit; she convulsed, pushing my tongue away, then sucking it back in just as greedily. I didn’t stop. The jealousy ignited by her call with her boyfriend had transformed into something beyond lust — an urge to possess and dominate. Nayeon’s short cries and ragged breathing mingled with the sound of the air conditioner, filling the room.
That bastard on the other end of the phone would never know. He would never know who was doing this to his girl, or what kind of expression she wore as she came apart.
