Infinite Field War (1)
“Did you read that post from yesterday?”
“What post?”
“Sandro posted on the official forums. Said he’s gonna start PKing our guild members indiscriminately from today.”
“Kekeke, that attention whore’s at it again? He only flies around on his titan. If he tries PKing in the field, he’ll get ganged up on and drop his holy sword in a day flat.”
“Hmm…… yeah, probably.”
“Of course! If he really posted that, I hope he comes here and PKs me! Gimme that holy sword for once so I can turn my life around!”
They say words can make things happen.
This was the perfect example.
“They say even the wishes of the dead get granted…… Mind if I grant one of yours too?”
“Wh-who’s there?”
A thief and a holy knight in a two-man party, hunting skeleton mages. Both sporting the Taesung guild mark. I revealed myself from stealth right in front of them, striking up the conversation.
“Gasp!”
“S-Sandro!!”
“That’s me, Sandro. As requested, here I am—so go ahead, try taking my sword to your heart’s content!”
Consecutive Slash!
When PKing, the rule is to take out high-damage dealers and low-HP targets first—and fast! I hit the thief with Consecutive Slash, chased his fleeing back with two or three normal attacks, and he dropped like a sack of potatoes in seconds.
I Shadow Stepped straight to the holy knight bolting the other way.
The holy knight popped Celestial Shield for invincibility and backpedaled desperately.
“Y-you! You’re really doing field war against Taesung? This guy’s lost his mind!”
“Attention whore, and now crazy too? Cut the bullshit—here’s one thing to remember when you go hunting from now on!”
“Wh-what?”
“When you step into the field with that Taesung mark, come prepared to die.”
His 10-second invincibility ticked down, and I nailed him with Weak Point Capture. Another instant kill.
You have just killed ‘InvincibleTaeho’.
General user killed. Entering ‘Murderer’ state.
You have just killed ‘TaesungsShield’.
Glancing at the system log, it’d been ages since I last turned Murderer. First time for this Sandro ID, too.
‘After this moment, when will the red aura finally fade from my ID again? It will, right? It has to.’
I opened my status window, picturing my freshly bloodied ID.
Sandro (Thief), Lv. 335
HP: 11387/11387 | MP: 40444/40444
Strength: 309 | Vitality: 319 | Agility: 310
Intellect: 373 | Mana: 1456
Hitting level 335 had finally pushed my MP past 40k. At this level, physical stats like vitality, strength, and agility still lagged at lowbie levels due to diminishing returns—but my mana stat was unrivaled, a monstrous peak no one in Tayen had touched.
A wildly unbalanced build, sure. But perfect for powering my 8-star Mana Shield to shine.
Among top rankers, few had cracked 360. Level gaps wouldn’t be an issue in field fights.
I’d planned to start field war after hitting ranker status, but Darius snagging the Demon Sword changed that. I wasn’t the only one with a titan anymore. Soon, soldier-grade titans would pop up everywhere. Time to pull the trigger early.
So last night, I declared my solo hit list across the official homepage and all of Tayen’s free boards.
Targeting every last Taesung guild member!
1. No PK in hunting grounds below level 300, even with the Taesung mark. PK only in fields with 300+ mobs. Don’t wander those wearing Taesung colors if you wanna live.
2. Taesung affiliates or allies? Off-limits unless they’re core Taesung. Attack me first, and I’ll hit back—your call.
Couldn’t ignore public opinion, as always. To dodge “bullying” cries, I limited it to 300+ zones.
Taesung alone was a beast to fight. No point bloating the enemy list—time and space limited my solo kills. Strict focus on core Taesung members.
It’d sway opinion my way, at least a bit.
└ Come on Taesung~
My post’s comments exploded into a warzone. Debates on if it was bluffing—Sandro never bluffs. No-manners PK even if limited to Taesung?……
But my image work paid off. More folks than expected backed my “solo field war.”
‘Plenty secretly hoped someone like me would step up. Tons bottling grudges against Taesung, no outlet.’
If I hadn’t snagged the holy sword, I’d cheer too. Curious how long Sandro could hold against Taesung solo.
My first PK spot: Derpo Ruins in Taesung-held Servan Castle territory.
Undead weak to elements, low HP but punchy—player fave. Prime field for such mobs, super popular.
But no players in sight, just mobs packed in.
Since Taesung seized Servan half a year back, they’d locked it down as their private farm. No normies allowed.
‘That’s why I hit here first. No sorting needed!’
Any users here? All Taesung grunts.
Shadow Step!
Spotted a three-man party nearby. Shadow Step’d to the healer’s rear.
“Gasp! What the—?”
“Backstab!”
Healer panics, tries to move. Mage shields her. Tank, mid-mob hit, charges for stun……
Solid response—Taesung elites over 300, no slop.
Too bad their luck sucked. Backstabber was me, Sandro.
Ting! Tank’s shield bash? Mana Shield eats it, stun ignored. Peng! Mage’s hasty shield shatters in a second against my Swift Movement.
“Ugh! This damage is insane!”
“Sandro, you bastard!”
PK priority: healers first, always—even over squishies. My holy sword burst could one-shot the mage, but vs. small parties? Order barely mattered.
So I just…… did what felt right.
“You’ll pay for this against our guild soon.”
“Yeah yeah. Good luck!”
Curse from the last tank, and the trio wiped.
Superior Mana Recovery Potion (11)
+4 Imperial Guard Knight Corps Chestplate (Unique)
“Oho! Unique? Jackpot!”
Rare to loot from PKs. Field PK charm: drops like these.
Non-murderers rarely drop, but my targets? High-level Taesung elites. When they did? Top-shelf stuff. Min: heavily enchanted rares. Uniques too.
Hunting them powered me up directly.
While at it, checked my gear.
+2 Rune Paytona (Divine, One-Handed Sword)
+4 Priest's Mystical Headpiece (Legendary, Helmet)
+10 Black Spire Magic Tower Mage's Robe Top (Unique, Chest)
+9 Black Spire Magic Tower Mage's Robe Bottom (Unique, Legs)
+9 Black Spire Magic Tower Mage's Robe Pauldrons (Unique, Shoulders)
+3 Archmage Rainsel's Silk Gloves (Legendary, Gloves)
+3 Great Thief Willifeng's Bizarre Boots (Legendary, Shoes)
+3 Griffin King's Feather Cloak (Legendary, Cloak)

+2 Archmage Rainsel's Silk Belt (Legendary, Belt)
+9 Tefalo Workshop's Mana Bracelet (Unique, Bracelet)
+5 Ancient Vampire Noble's Sapphire Ring (Legendary, Ring) x2
Thanks to Pink Rabbit, swapped unique mana-weak pieces for legendary mana-focused ones ASAP. Now, only Black Spire set (3 pieces) and a few accessories were unique—rest legendary.
Sapphire rings hit +5 both (extra one helped). Orc Lord's Insignia and Priest's Headpiece to +4.
Legendaries +2’d across the board would be nuts. Mine? All beyond. Pure ecstasy—top 0.01% gear, no exaggeration.
‘This gear, skills, stats, my control…… Against Taesung? Delusion?’
That commenter? Tonight, he’d delete in panic. Eyes wide at his “delusion” made real.
I racked 30+ Taesung kills in Derpo Ruins, then ditched the swarm for the next spot.
