Club Activities (1)
The morning after Do Yoonchae had barged into the bathroom where I was standing, put on a shameless face, rubbed my chest against hers—no, rubbed her chest against mine—and then bolted like a fugitive.
She hadn't met my eyes once since last night, and it seemed she'd left the dormitory practically at the crack of dawn, because the room was completely empty.
“Looking back on it, I guess it must have been pretty embarrassing for her.”
Then again, how many people could stay stone-faced after pulling a stunt like that in the first place?
What's more, unlike the others, I had never even properly used Suggestion on Do Yoonchae. Not once.
Which meant she was the only one who'd offered up her chest to me purely on her own delusions and misunderstandings.
Of course, the reason things got that far was that I let her witness the Suggestion I'd planted in Han Sora, so indirectly speaking, I had used it after all.
“I'm curious what she'll do once I actually put her under Suggestion, though.”
Maybe after I openly devoured her, she'd go and reapply the suggestion to herself once it wore off—convincing herself that “it was a necessary act to protect my secret.”
As her roommate, the sooner she fell, the better for me. Having a ready-to-use hole waiting right next door was undeniably convenient.
Beyond that, if I just groomed Do Yoonchae—who shared my dormitory—properly, it would make it easier later to invite the other girls over as well.
“Though pulling that off without getting caught would probably require Kim Isabel's ability.”
Either way, if I could perfectly train just the two of them, there'd be nothing stopping me from holding a daily orgy in the dorm from that point on. Naturally, training each individual girl I planned to include in said orgy was a separate matter entirely.
Still, judging by how things stood, every girl I'd gotten my hands on so far looked like she could be fully broken in within two years.
That meant my schedule had shrunk nearly in half compared to the four-year plan I'd drawn up with graduation in mind—which in turn meant things were flowing far more smoothly than even I had anticipated.
Getting rid of that bastard Seo Woojin early really had made everything easier. If he'd shown even a flicker of distinction during the entrance exam event, dragging Kim Isabel, Han Sora, and Do Yoonchae this far would have been outright impossible.
“...No, let's not get cocky. He hasn't completely dropped out yet, has he.”
I'd almost had a moment of typical “villain” thinking there.
In novels, the guys who relax like this always end up getting decked by the protagonist and served a heaping plate of poetic justice later.
It wasn't as if I'd done anything so heinous that that bastard Seo Woojin deserved to serve me justice, but this kind of arrogance still warranted restraint.
The only heroine I could claim to have fully trained so far was Cha Eunju. If I were being generous, I'd brought Min Ye-won to the point where I could handle her however I pleased—but right now, she had no use beyond being a hole.
...Well, I'll admit she was excellent for working off my lust. That nude walk we did last time was pretty damn arousing, even by my own assessment.

“Looking at it again, it really is arousing.”
I opened my smartphone, glanced briefly at the photo of Min Ye-won's naked body wearing nothing but her collar, then pulled up my Cocoatalk messages.
Outings were permitted starting Friday evening anyway. And since the thought had come up, why not see her tonight and pound her for a bit.
「Ye-won, are you free this evening?」
「How about we have dinner together for the first time in a while?」
I sent the messages and waited a while, but no reply came. Probably still asleep—it was early in the morning, after all.
Not that she looked like the diligent type. With a free Friday morning, she was probably sprawled across her bed until noon.
“She'll reply on her own by dinnertime at the latest, even if nothing else.”
Declining wasn't an option for her anyway, but just in case.
I attached the nude photos I'd taken of her outdoors the other day and sent those along too.
Showing her directly was more effective than nagging at her about how I'd leak the pictures if she didn't do as I said.
With that thought, I tossed my smartphone carelessly onto the bed and got ready to head out quickly.
Wasting a free morning sprawled in bed would have been far too much of a waste of time.
Is It Wrong to Seek Treasure Chests in a Dungeon?
A clubroom with an absurd nameplate, tucked away in a corner of the Combat Support Department building.
Barely a week had passed since I'd last seen the name, and it was still so ridiculous that a hollow laugh escaped me. Part of it was laughing at myself for having genuinely joined a club with a name this stupid.
“If it weren't for Ma Nayeon, I'd never have set foot in a club like this.”
But it would have been a shame to pass it up after coming this far. Besides, I was a little put off by the thought of having charmed girls from every other department while leaving the Combat Support Department heroines untouched.
That said, after actually joining, I couldn't help finding Im Yujin more appealing than Ma Nayeon—but since I had no intention of stopping at just one, this wasn't much of a problem either.
“When I walk in, I'd like it if either Im Yujin or Ma Nayeon were there.”
Just a personal wish. I didn't have either girl's first-semester schedule memorized.
One was an extra and the other a heroine who appeared midway through the story, so as far as the early chapters went, I had almost no information on them—outside of the love triangle within the club, anyway.
Even that was somewhat different from what I knew, since in the current timeline the relationship between the three of them hadn't progressed that far yet.
Han Jaewook being an absolute dipshit who hadn't even properly confessed his feelings to Im Yujin, and Ma Nayeon not yet having fallen that hard for Han Jaewook—both were good news to me. Hoping this situation would help in winning over the two of them, I opened the clubroom door and stepped inside.
—Creeeeak.
“Hello there~.”
“Oh! Seonho, my junior!”
The moment I opened the door, Im Yujin looked up from the president's seat across the room, met my eyes, and waved.
She greeted me with some nonsense phrase or other—apparently a meme of some sort, though I had no idea what.
“I don't see Ma Nayeon or Han Jaewook, at least.”
Nursing the hope that I'd get to talk with Im Yujin one-on-one for at least a few hours, I approached her.
“Good morning, Yujin sunbae. Lovely morning, isn't it?”
“You're quite the early bird yourself, aren't you? You got the morning off too?”
“Fridays are completely free for me. The dorm felt kind of stifling, so I just came out.”
“Hmm-hmm, excellent attitude. I knew my eye for people was as sharp as ever.”
“...Wasn't it me who chose to join, though? Not you?”
“Now, now, let's not sweat the small stuff, Seonho my junior!”
Her tone practically begged for a retort, so I slipped one in, and she beamed with satisfaction as she thumped me on the back—thump, thump.
Though the height difference meant she was tapping somewhere closer to my waist than my back. Either way, she seemed delighted that I'd responded exactly the way she'd wanted.
Looking at a personality like this, I'd say she's definitely—in a certain sense—both the easiest girl to get close to and the hardest one to break in.
Im Yujin showed none of the flaws that every other heroine carried. Even if I tried offering to help her with a buff, she'd probably just say she didn't need it.
Good-natured, sociable, easy to befriend—which was exactly why becoming the one special person among all those people would probably be harder for anyone than for her.
“And I don't much fancy fucking her through blackmail the way I did Min Ye-won.”
It wasn't as if I operated on some moral compass of good and evil, but I still wanted to keep a certain line intact.
Above all, the one I wanted to devour was Im Yujin with that innocent, guileless personality. I wanted to watch that kind, ever-ready smile turn shy and flustered only in front of me—I had no intention of approaching her with the mere mindset of adding one more hole to the collection.
“Once I get close enough, an event will come along sooner or later. This is Cheonmu Academy, where incidents never stop coming—and there's no way none of them ever involves Im Yujin.”
Even just moderately involving myself in a Monster Wave or a Black Moon terrorist attack—things that happened roughly once a semester—would give me plenty of chances to earn her gratitude.
“What about Han Jaewook sunbae and Ma Nayeon sunbae?”
“Those two have Friday morning classes. Something about failing their course registration, or whatever~.”
“That's a shame. I rushed through my preparations thinking everyone would be here.”
“Hey! Seonho my junior! Are you saying I alone aren't enough to satisfy you?!”
“Th-that's not what I meant, sunbae!”
Being around her was genuinely fun—being an extroverted otaku did that. Whatever reaction I gave, she had a real talent for lifting the whole mood.
It was almost a pity that a girl like this had remained at extra-level, never even a conquest target, in the original story. Then again, that also meant Seo Woojin's hands had never touched her, which was a plus in its own way.
I casually glanced at the textbook sitting on Im Yujin's desk—a third-year course subject—and naturally steered the conversation that way.
“Studying for exams already, sunbae? Midterms are still more than a month away, aren't they?”
“This kind of material needs to go into your head regularly, or it won't stick, junior. ...Oh, come to think of it, weren't you second place on the entrance exam? You must be pretty good at studying.”
“I think a lot of my blind guesses just happened to be right. And like I said before, my practical exam teammates were all really good people.”
“Meeting good people is a skill in itself. Too much modesty from a talented kid isn't a good look either.”
“You're right, now that I think about it. From today onward, please call me Lee Seonho, the peerless genius hunter of unprecedented talent.”
“Hey, hey! No matter what, isn't that going a bit too far into arrogance territory!”
Even in the middle of ordinary small talk, the conversation would slide into sketch-comedy banter before I knew it.
The atmosphere a person carries really is a strange thing. Around her, I couldn't help feeling infected by that bright energy of hers.
Almost regrettable that in the original story she never rose above extra status—though, as I said, in that respect it worked in my favor.
“Ah, sunbae. Now that I think of it, there was something I didn't understand in class. Could you help me out?”
“Sure, show me what you've got. First-year courses are from quite a while back, so my memory's fuzzy, but I'll try.”
“In Monster Ecology, they say Flame Scorpions and Magma Slimes share a mutualistic relationship. But since the Magma Slime is the one being protected by the Flame Scorpion, shouldn't it be classified as commensalism instead?”
“Ah, now that's a classic question. If you think of the Flame Scorpion as a monster that only lives in volcanic terrain, then sure, you could read it that way. But the thing is, they can actually live outside volcanic regions too. And since their body movement slows down when their core temperature drops below a certain point, they rely on Magma Slimes to maintain it—which is why it's classified as mutualism.”
“Then what about the Concealment Rabbit and the Big Bad Wolf...”
She was, after all, the third-year valedictorian of the Combat Support Department, and she fielded even the difficult questions without missing a beat.
At some point we'd ended up sitting side by side at the same desk, pretending to study together while I pressed my body naturally against hers—and right around the time morning classes would be letting out, the clubroom door slid open.
—Creeeeak.
“Yujin noona, I'm her—”
The instant Han Jaewook saw me sitting shoulder to shoulder with Im Yujin, he couldn't hide the flash of disgust that crossed his face.
Wipe that look off. Seeing your face pisses me off just as much, pal.
