I Became a Bewitching Combat Doll
The moment I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was a girl’s face.
She was beautiful. So beautiful it felt almost unreal. Her skin was pale like porcelain, her eyes a vivid crimson, and her long silver hair cascaded down like moonlight. She looked like a meticulously crafted doll.
But something was wrong.
Why… was I looking at her from below?
And why did her face look so familiar?
Before I could process anything, the girl’s lips parted. A cold, mechanical voice spilled out.
Body takeover complete. Soul transfer successful.
Current vessel: Prototype Combat Doll - Type: Bewitching
Warning: Original soul has been overwritten. Memory synchronization in progress…
“What the hell…?”
The voice that came out wasn’t mine. It was soft, clear, and unmistakably feminine. A chill ran down my spine. I tried to move, but my body wouldn’t listen. It was as if I were trapped inside a puppet, watching through its eyes.
The girl—no, I—slowly stood up. The scenery around me came into focus. Ruined buildings stretched into the distance under a blood-red sky. The air smelled of ash and decay. This wasn’t Earth. This was some kind of post-apocalyptic hellscape.
A world on the brink of destruction.
Memories that didn’t belong to me began flooding in. The original owner of this body had been a mass-produced combat doll designed for war. She had no name, only a serial number. Created in a secret laboratory, she was meant to be a weapon against the Abyssal Gates that had torn the world apart.
But something had gone wrong during her activation. A stray soul—mine—had been sucked in and overwritten her consciousness.
“This has to be a dream. Yeah… definitely a dream.”
I tried to laugh, but the sound that came out was far too elegant and melodic for my liking. Even my own voice was betraying me.
Then another window appeared before my eyes.
“Charm… 999?”
I stared at the ridiculous number. Even among the highest ranks of hunters back on Earth, no one had ever seen a stat hit triple digits in a single category. And here it was sitting at nearly a thousand.
That was when I realized the true horror of my situation.
This body wasn’t just a combat doll. It was a bewitching combat doll. A prototype designed to infiltrate, seduce, and destroy from within. Every movement, every glance, every breath was engineered to captivate and manipulate.
And now that power belonged to me—a completely average Korean guy who had been minding his own business just moments ago.
“This is insane…”
I looked down at my hands. Slender, delicate fingers. Perfectly proportioned arms. The combat dress clinging to my body was made of some unknown material that shifted colors depending on the light. It was both armor and a weapon of seduction at the same time.
Suddenly, a low growl echoed from the shadows of a collapsed building.
A monster emerged. It looked like a twisted mix of wolf and insect, its eyes glowing with malevolent hunger. The kind of creature that would have sent professional hunters running for their lives.
But my body moved on its own.
Before I could even think, I had already closed the distance. My hand sliced through the air like a blade. The monster’s head flew off before it could even react.
-INSTANT KILL-
The monster’s corpse dissolved into black mist, leaving behind a small crystal. My body automatically reached down and absorbed it. A pleasant warmth spread through my limbs.
Absorption — Mana Crystal absorbed. All stats increased by 1.
“Wait, I didn’t even do anything!”
This body was operating on autopilot. The original doll’s combat instincts were still fully intact, moving with terrifying efficiency. I was just along for the ride.
As I stood there in stunned silence, I heard footsteps approaching from behind.
“There you are! We’ve been looking everywhere for you!”
A group of survivors emerged from the rubble. They were dressed in ragged but functional gear, clearly experienced fighters. Their eyes widened the moment they saw me.
“Holy… it really is her.”
“The rumored prototype doll…”
“She’s even more beautiful in person…”
Their gazes were filled with a mixture of awe, desire, and fear. I could practically feel the atmosphere changing around me. It was as if the very air had become heavier, sweeter.
One of the men stepped forward, his face flushed.
“Miss, are you okay? We’re from Shelter 17. If you come with us, we can protect—”
Before he could finish, my body moved again. I smiled.
It was a small, gentle smile. Nothing special. But the effect was immediate. The man froze, his eyes glazing over. The others behind him began breathing harder, their faces turning red.
This is dangerous.
I realized then that this body wasn’t just strong. It was a walking weapon of mass seduction. Every gesture, every expression, every subtle movement was designed to enslave hearts and break minds.
And I had no idea how to turn it off.
“Um… could you all calm down for a second?” I said, trying to sound as normal as possible.
But even my casual tone came out like a seductive whisper. The survivors looked like they were about to kneel on the spot.
“Anything you want!”
“We’ll do whatever you ask!”
“Just say the word and we’ll die for you!”
This was bad. Really, really bad.
I had been planning to quietly find a way back to my original world. Keep a low profile, gather information, and somehow reverse whatever had brought me here.
But it looked like that plan had already gone up in flames.
Because right now, in this ruined world, the most dangerous combat doll in existence had just woken up.
And unfortunately for everyone involved… that combat doll was me.
Far away, in the largest remaining human sanctuary known as Central Shelter, a massive screen flickered to life.
The emergency alert echoed through the command center.
The commander of the shelter slammed his fist on the table, his face pale.
“That thing… it finally woke up.”
One of his subordinates swallowed hard.
“Sir… should we really bring it here? They say anyone who sees it loses their mind. Men, women, it doesn’t matter. They all end up as its slaves.”
The commander stared at the blurry image on the screen. Even through the low resolution, the doll’s beauty was overwhelming.
He let out a long, tired sigh.
“We don’t have a choice. If we leave it out there, the other shelters will try to claim it. And if they succeed…”
His voice grew grim.
“This world will have a new queen before the month is over.”
Meanwhile, in the ruins, I was still trying to figure out how to stop my body from automatically posing seductively every time someone looked at me.
“This is going to be a long life…” I muttered.
The silver-haired doll in the reflection of a broken window simply smiled back at me. A smile so enchanting it could make gods fall to their knees.
I had become the most dangerous existence in this ruined world.
And I had absolutely no idea what to do about it.
