The Saintess in the Church [Erden Pavel] (1)
It was a sweet yet wistful scent that faintly recalled Marei de Pawen from the depths of memory. The thought of violating someone so motherly made his unrelenting erection throb even harder. Still buried inside her slick heat, his cock twitched and pulsed as though complaining about the delicate friction.
“Ugh… ugh… You really are vigorous… We were supposed to visit the shopping district today.”
“Can’t we do it just one more time?”
“But we still need to buy things to fill the room…”
At Marei’s earnest gaze, Labella’s voice trailed off. With her tacit permission, he led his beautiful, lust-surrendered stepmother to the table.
“We’ve taken far too long.”
“I’m sorry…”
Marei’s apology earned a soft laugh from Labella, who kissed her beloved son on the forehead. The pleasant show of affection brought a bright smile to Marei’s lips. Naked and still joined as one, the tongue gently licking his brow felt far too distant from anything a mother and son should share.
“I was the one who said just once, yet my body grew so heated that I kept begging for more. There’s no need for you to apologize…”
“Yes…”
Labella began dressing in the neat suit she had worn earlier. The formal attire was heavily adorned with the empire’s symbolic eagle emblem and gold ornamentation—so much that it bordered on excessive.
“Marei, is something wrong?”
“Ah, no. It’s nothing.”
At Labella’s gentle question, Marei quickly shook his head and moved to her side. The beautiful, seductive woman who had always desired him at home was nowhere to be seen. Standing beside him now was only the Second Director of the Inspectorate. The image of her wiping the living-room floor with her whole body beneath his relentless thrusts seemed like a dream, so he gripped her hand tightly.
“Hmm…? Ah, hehe. Shall we go, then?”
“Y-yes…!”
Labella glanced at Marei’s face as he held her hand and smiled with open delight. She laced their fingers together and led him like an escort. Her brisk steps looked as if she could hardly wait to show him off to the world.
Everything Labella had claimed about knowing the city’s layout was true. Never releasing his hand, she wove through the web-like streets, pointing out every shop he should know and every place he should avoid.
The flood of information was overwhelming, so Marei simply nodded along to her explanations.
“It was too much to absorb all at once, wasn’t it?”
“Ah, no… well… yes.”
When Labella stared at him directly, Marei confessed the truth without resistance. She stroked his hair, pulled him into a warm embrace, and whispered tenderly into his ear.
“You don’t need to remember everything right now. If we have time on the weekends, let’s come out like this again. Over and over…”
The sweetness of those words, and the sincerity woven through them, made Marei hug her body tightly. Still unsatisfied, he wrapped his arms around her neck and kissed her again and again.
“I want to keep going, but we’re outside, unfortunately. My lovely Marei… Can you be patient just a little longer? I want it too… I truly do…”
At his beautiful stepmother’s touch, something bulged unmistakably inside Marei’s trousers. Labella stroked it with the care one might give a precious gem, licking her lips with regret several times.
—Beep… beep… beep…
While they gazed into each other’s eyes in silent conflict, a strange mechanical sound began to ring from Labella’s waist.
“On a weekend, of all times…”
Labella’s face, which had been glowing with the joy of a date with her beloved son, crumpled into a deep frown. She pulled a blunt black rectangular device from her waist and held it to her ear.
“What is it? What did you say? What do you mean…”
Labella looked at Marei and bit her lip. She scanned their surroundings once more before her gaze returned to him.
“Understood. I’ll head there immediately.”
Having ended the call in the same rigid tone she had used when first confronting him, Labella slipped the black device back into her pocket and pulled him into a tight embrace.
“Marei… I’m sorry… Mom has urgent work she must attend to right now…”
“It’s all right. Mom, you’ll come back today for sure, won’t you?”
Labella nodded vigorously, as though the answer were obvious. To the smiling Marei she gave a deep, sticky kiss. Her long tongue pushed in without hesitation, thoroughly ravaging his mouth and drinking in his saliva before she finally drew away.
“Mmm… mmm… We’ll finish the rest of this at home. My beloved Marei.”
“Yes……”
Marei nodded, entranced. Labella hurried off, flagged down a passing carriage, pressed money into the driver’s hand, and earnestly asked him to take Marei home safely before she departed. After the dreamlike, far-too-brief date with Labella ended, Marei returned home alone and stared blankly at the silent house.
“It really… feels like a dream…”
Marei lingered at the entrance for a long time, unable to move. Shaking his head to cast off the sudden heavy loneliness, he finally stepped into the living room. Loneliness was something far too familiar and natural to him.
He gazed absently at the dining table where they had shared a meal. The memory of Labella crawling beneath it to serve him with devoted care, of himself unable to hold back his lust and simply taking her, of still being unsatisfied and making her scrub the floor with her body while he thrust roughly into her. Of wanting each other even more, laying her across the table and taking her from behind, then from the front.
Marei let out a deep sigh as he stared at his own manhood, now massively swollen once again.
His hand drifted slowly toward his trousers, but he shook his head and forced down the boiling desire. Doing it alone didn’t seem like it would feel good at all.
***
Marei fled to his room as if escaping the kitchen where Labella’s image kept resurfacing. The sight of her crawling like a dog in the hallway, himself slamming his hips into her like a whip, the two of them cooling their fevered bodies in the night breeze by an open window, and everything they had done in front of the bathroom—all of it flickered before his eyes.
From the house that threatened to drive him mad with lust, Marei escaped as though fleeing for his life. His longing for Labella far outweighed any loneliness. He squatted down in front of the door and began waiting for her in a daze.
How much time had passed? No, not much at all. As Marei stared blankly at the sky, the sound of a bell ringing somewhere pulled him from his reverie. It was different from the grand cathedral bells that tolled at noon. This was a small, mournful chime. Before he realized it, Marei was walking toward the direction of the sound.
“Huh…?”
An unfamiliar church stood before his eyes. It was not a towering spire that pierced the heavens, nor was it so small as to be easily missed. Yet it was a building he had never seen before. Labella had described every corner of the alleys in meticulous detail; she could not possibly have overlooked this monastery…
Marei felt a flicker of unease, yet he was already stepping inside. He looked around the completely deserted monastery, then carefully opened the firmly closed door and entered the chapel.
In the center of the room, where several chairs were arranged, a nun was praying. The light streaming from the high stained-glass windows seemed to fall entirely upon her. It was a scene like a miracle. Marei stood there for a long time, staring blankly at her back.
Watching her offer such a devout prayer, Marei sat in a chair in the corner and began to pray to God in the same manner. Unlike the half-hearted, obligatory visits from his countryside days, this time he offered sincere prayers of gratitude again and again.
It has become a strange relationship, but thank you for giving me a mother. O God, please let my real mother rest in your embrace as well…
At the sound of movement, Marei lifted his head from prayer.

“Hello?”
“………Hello.”
The first thing he noticed was the long, flowing purple hair. She wore a white nun’s habit that stood in striking contrast to the usual black worn by other sisters. Pale pink lips, a delicate chin, sparkling green eyes, and finely arched brows. She was a woman who gave off a mysterious air. No—mysterious was not enough. She felt sacred… like a field of pure white snow that no one had yet stepped upon.
She was beautiful. Just like Labella.
That mystical presence made it impossible to look directly at her face. Even when he tried to steal a glance, his eyes kept slipping away. Because of that, he could not describe her features clearly. He attempted once more to meet her sparkling gaze, but his eyes instead drifted to the pure white nape of her neck subtly revealed above her collar.
“A cute little boy… or perhaps that’s not quite right? How old are you?”
“Fifteen.”
The purple-haired nun held her hand beneath her chest as though measuring Marei’s seated height. Smiling as she remarked that he was rather big to be called little, she watched as Marei awkwardly twisted a lock of his hair at the side of his head.
“I am called Erden. And what is the name of this cute believer?”
“Ah, I-I am Marei de Pawen!”
At Marei’s tense, overly loud self-introduction, the woman who had introduced herself as Erden burst into laughter once more. Though the gesture might have seemed undignified, her pure and sacred aura made Marei feel only a sense of nobility.
“So… Marei? Ah, may I simply call you Marei? Tell me, how did you come to find this place?”
“Um… well… the bell sounded so beautiful…”
“You heard the bell?”
“Y-yes.”
Erden tilted her head at Marei’s answer, then gave a quick nod. She placed her hand gently atop his head.
“Thank you for letting me meet such an adorable believer who offers prayers of gratitude to God. O God, may the prayer offered by your servant today reach your ears.”
At Erden’s sudden prayer, Marei closed his eyes and prayed along with her.
“Hahaha, you didn’t need to pray with me. I have some snacks—would you like to eat before you go?”
“…Yes.”
He briefly considered refusing, but then realized that Labella—who had suggested they eat at the shopping district—had returned home due to a sudden schedule. He had not eaten anything even though lunchtime had long passed, so he had no desire to decline.
Hearing Marei’s story, Erden nodded while stirring the air with an imaginary teaspoon.
“Ehe~, so you’re living here now?”
“Yes.”
Marei was startled by how naturally he had begun sharing his story, but he told himself it could not be helped because of her mysterious aura. Of course, he had not spoken of the secret, utterly unspeakable, blasphemous things between him and Labella.
“To have been passed from relative to relative yet still grow up so upright—your mother must be very happy indeed.”
“Thank you…”
“Do you have any plans today?”
“Huh??? No. Ah, actually yes. After evening…”
“In that case, could you help me with a small task? If you assist the sister, God will surely grant you a blessing.”
“Yes, well…”
He wondered whether God would truly pay any attention, but Erden spoke with such confidence that Marei simply smiled in evasion. When she mentioned that the amount of work was a little much for one person, he followed behind her as she rose from her seat, curious what the task might be.
“It’s the laundry from the children at the nearby orphanage. There aren’t many volunteers, so I come and wash it like this from time to time. The washing machine does the hard part. We only have to hang everything out to dry, so it’s simple enough. Still, it’s a bit much for a woman to handle alone~.”
Erden, speaking in a cheerful nasal tone, led him into a room containing several old washing machines. They were humming as though they had just finished a load.
