Special forces mission deployed!! That evening I went to see Karin, the kunoichi I'd knocked unconscious and captured. She was bound hand and foot, locked inside a prison cell while three chunin ninjas stood guard.

The moment I stepped into the cell, Karin turned her head and fixed her eyes on me. In a cold voice she said, "So what are you planning to do with me now? Torture? Or are you just going to jump me?"

I walked right up to her, crouched down, and answered, "Karin, become my comrade!"

"What?! What kind of nonsense are you spouting right n—"

"It's not nonsense. I'm telling you to join my team."

"And why would I do that?"

"I saved your life, didn't I? Plus you don't actually feel any real loyalty toward Orochimaru, right?"

"Well, that's true, but… why exactly do you want me on your team?"

"Because you're pretty? No other reason."

She stared at me for a second, processing the words, then her face flushed bright red as she yelled, "Wh-what the hell are you talking about?!"

"Anyway, if you join my team I'll release you immediately! Sound good?"

She thought it over for a moment before turning me down. I told her I'd come see her again tomorrow and left the cell.

"Huh? Jin! What are you doing here?"

I turned toward the voice and saw Temari looking at me. I waved and walked over to greet her.

"Hey, Temari! I had something to say to the prisoner we caught earlier."

"Oh! So you were interrogating her?"

"Something like that… By the way, have you eaten dinner yet, Temari?"

"Not yet… I still have cleanup duty and I'm on village patrol, so I haven't had the chance."

"When does your shift end?"

"In about an hour?"

"Then I'll wait. Let's grab dinner together!"

Temari broke into a bright smile, nodded, waved, and returned to her post. I killed time touring the Hidden Sand Village until her shift ended, then we went to eat.

"Hey, Temari, I've got a question."

"Yeah? What is it?"

"If a kunoichi from the Sand gets married to a ninja from the Leaf, she moves to the Leaf, right?"

"I suppose so? I've never actually seen a ninja marry someone from another village, so I'm not sure… Why? Is there a kunoichi you want to marry? Want me to introduce you?"

"Yes! It's you, Temari."

"Oh! Me? Then I can introdu—huh?! What?"

"You, Temari."

"Do you want to come with me to the Leaf Village? I'll get permission from Gaara!"

"Where is this coming from?! Jin! Do you… like me?"

"Yep! I like you, Temari!"

"You l…?!"

"That's right! All the kunoichi on my team are already my women! Oh, except Sakura—she's not on my team."

"All of them… are your women…?"

I smiled and nodded. When she saw ‍‍‌‌⁠​​⁠‌​​‍​​‍​‌​⁠‍‌‍⁠⁠‌⁠‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍⁠​‌​‌​‌‍‌‌‌⁠‍​​‌‍⁠‌‌⁠⁠my grin, Temari lowered her head.

"Hahaha! No need to feel embarr—"

Temari suddenly leaped forward and headbutted me square in the jaw.

"What kind of ridiculous crap are you saying?!"

She glared at me lying on the ground, huffed angrily, and stormed off. I sat there on the floor, rubbing my aching jaw and tilting my head in confusion.

"I thought she'd fall for it… Guess that was a failure?"

"It's fine! It's not like I got completely rejected yet."

After saying that, I headed to Hinata Hyuga and Ino's room, flirted with them for a while, then returned to my own quarters. I visited Karin again on the second and final days, offering her the same deal. She stared at me and demanded a real reason why I wanted her as a comrade. I answered exactly as before.

"I told you on the first day. I'm bringing you because you're pretty."

Karin studied my expression for a long moment, then let out an exasperated sigh.

"You were actually serious?"

"Yep. So, want to come with me?"

She sighed again, then nodded. "Haa~ Fine. It's better than staying a prisoner and rotting in a cell."

"Smart choice! Once we reach the Leaf Village I'll get permission from the Hokage and release you right away! Looking forward to working with you!"

"Yeah, yeah… same here."

With Karin in tow, we gathered at the village gate to leave the Hidden Sand. The villagers and ninjas had come out to see us off.

"Take care… Thank you. If you ever need our help, just say the word."

"I'm going to become Hokage, so you'd better wait for me!"

Gaara gave a small bow in my direction. At that moment Temari walked up and punched me hard in the stomach.

"Oof!"

"Next time I visit the Leaf I'm going to hit you even harder!"

"You're coming to see me?"

"Hmph! I'm saying I'll come if a mission comes up! …Anyway, travel safe. See you later."

A few days later we returned to the Leaf Village. I followed Guy and Kakashi to see Tsunade.

"Hm? Jin… why are you here?"

"Because I missed you?"

Guy and Kakashi looked horrified and started fidgeting. Tsunade stared at me intently.

"And the real reason?"

"That part is true… but I also have a separate request! I want to add the prisoner I captured—Karin—to my team."

"Karin? You know better than anyone she's one of Orochimaru's subordinates! We can't trust her!"

"I know that… but aside from Kabuto, the rest of them don't have any real loyalty to Orochimaru. And if you can't trust her, just test her yourself."

"Test her?"

I glanced at Guy. He gave me a small nod.

"We're planning to take out Orochimaru and Kabuto this time. Karin should know the locations of Orochimaru's hideouts. We'll get the information from her and launch a surprise attack!"

Kakashi still didn't know the full extent of my strength and looked doubtful. Guy and Tsunade, who had seen more of what I could do, simply nodded in silence while they thought it over.

"Jin… I know you're strong, but your opponent is Orochimaru…"

Guy shook his head at Kakashi's concern. "No… Jin can beat Orochimaru. Besides, Itachi, the special forces unit, and I will all be fighting together… If we can just locate him, our chances of success are nearly one hundred percent."

"Exactly! And thanks to the Third Hokage sealing both of his arms, Orochimaru is significantly weaker right now! We had no way to find him before, but now the opportunity has arrived!"

Tsunade pondered for a moment, then nodded firmly and declared, "All right, permission granted! Take Karin and capture Orochimaru! If it becomes too dangerous, killing him is acceptable! And if it really is a trap, you will kill Karin without hesitation—can you do that?"

I grinned at her order and nodded. "Of course. I'm not nice enough to forgive traitors."

"Good! Add her to your team and set out as soon as you're ready!"

I saluted her, left the office, and headed straight for the prison where Karin was being held.

"Karin, you're being released! Come on out!"

When I opened the cell door and joked, she stepped out with a surprised expression and stared at me.

"Huh? Why are you looking at me like that?"

"I just didn't expect you to get me out this quickly…"

"I've got some pull, you know!"

"Haha! I guess you do… So what do I do now?"

I took her to the assembly point for our unit and introduced her to Itachi and the rest of my squad.

"This is Karin, the new member joining Squad One starting today. Go on, Karin, say hello!"

"I'm Karin, a sensory-type ninja. I was experimented on by Orochimaru and ended up joining this guy's squad after he recruited me… Nice to meet you all."

"Nice to meet you! I'm Hinata Hyuga."

"Hey! I'm Ino. Let's get along and talk a lot!"

Hinata Hyuga and Ino greeted her warmly. Itachi gave a small nod as well. A short while later Neji's Squad Two arrived, and everyone exchanged greetings. Finally Guy showed up and briefed us on the mission.

"Karin! Can you do it?"

"Yes, leave it to me! If Orochimaru hasn't moved his base, I know several possible locations!"

"Perfect! Let's move out!"

Following Karin's guidance we advanced to the vicinity of Orochimaru's hideout. Guy ordered Neji and Hinata Hyuga to check for his presence using their Byakugan. After scanning the area, both of them nodded.

"This is the place!"

"Yes. Inside there's only Orochimaru and Kabuto."

Guy looked at all of us and began issuing orders.

"Itachi! Jin! You two take the front line inside and engage Orochimaru and Kabuto! Can you handle it?"

We both nodded. Guy then turned to Neji, Rock Lee, Ino, and Tenten.

"You four stay on the second line, watch the battle, and provide support when needed!"

They answered energetically. Finally, Guy decided to remain outside with Hinata Hyuga and Karin to block any surprise reinforcements or prevent Orochimaru from escaping.

Following Guy's instructions, we infiltrated the hideout. We moved silently until we reached the chamber where Orochimaru and Kabuto were. I glanced at Neji. He checked beyond the wall with his Byakugan once more and nodded.

BOOM!

I smashed straight through the wall with a kick and charged inside. Orochimaru and Kabuto, caught completely off guard, tried to summon reinforcements, but Itachi was faster.

The pair scattered quickly to avoid the flames. Orochimaru glared at Itachi and me, grinding his teeth.

"You two again?! Not only do you keep interfering with my plans, now you come all the way here!"

I ignored him and jerked my chin toward Orochimaru while looking at Itachi. "Want to take him?"

Itachi nodded, grabbed Rock Lee, and charged at Orochimaru. I shouted at Neji as I rushed toward Kabuto.

"Neji! Let's take Kabuto together! Everyone else, make sure they don't escape!"

Neji ran to my side. Ino and Tenten nodded and called back, "Got it!"

Kabuto gathered chakra in his hand and glared at me as I closed in.

CRASH!

I aimed a low kick at his legs, but he jumped back. He was already forming hand seals for a jutsu. I flicked a piece of debris from the shattered floor with my finger.

THUD! "Ugh!"

The fragment struck his shoulder while he was forming seals, breaking his concentration. I leaped in, spun, and brought my heel down.

THUD!BOOM!! "Guh!"

My heel drove into the shoulder I'd already hit. Kabuto dropped to one knee, but his chakra-coated hand reached for my leg. Neji's air palm struck his hand first.

THUD!!

I pressed down with my right leg, kicked his jaw with the other, and flipped backward. Kabuto flew into the air and crashed to the floor.

BANG!

"Kabuto, how about you surrender before I kill you for obstructing official duties?"

Enraged by my taunt, Kabuto charged again with chakra swirling around his hands. But Neji was faster.

WHIRL!BOOM!! "Aargh!!"

Kabuto was sent flying by the rotation. I dashed in, planted my foot, and unleashed another kick.

CRAAAASH!!!

The kick connected with his head and sent him flying straight toward Orochimaru. "Ugh!!"

Orochimaru, already mentally exhausted from Itachi's Tsukuyomi, couldn't dodge or block Kabuto in time. The two collided and tumbled to the ground.

I stood beside Itachi and spoke to them. "Why don't you try using Edo Tensei?"

"What?! Damn you!! How dare you mock me like this!! Fine, you'll regret it!"

Using the dying Kabuto as a sacrifice, Orochimaru began the Edo Tensei. Dust-like particles started covering Kabuto's body, and the silhouette of the Fourth Hokage was beginning to form… when I struck.

BOOM BOOM BOOM!!! "Cough!!"

I closed in on Orochimaru while he was focused on the jutsu and landed all seven strikes. My attack pierced straight through his stomach. The Edo Tensei failed, incomplete. Orochimaru collapsed, coughing blood, and slowly raised his head to look at me.

"Y-you… those eyes…? Could it be…?!"

Orochimaru stared at me in shock. I simply shrugged.

"What, is this your first time seeing a Sharingan?"

"H-how do you…?! Besides, unless you're an Uchiha, the Sharingan shouldn't stay active perma—"

"I have no intention of telling you, so don't bother asking."

I turned away. Orochimaru screamed after me, but Itachi's Amaterasu burned him to ash.

"Ah, I implanted this back when the stream wasn't on! The reinforcement I put into the Gwangmyeong Seungcheondo finished recently. After the upgrade it evolved into the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, and instead of being permanently active it works like the Uchiha clan—I can turn it on whenever I want! And the most important part! Kotoamatsukami's cooldown dropped from ten years to three! Also, implanting the Sharingan just works like equipping an item through the system?"

While I was explaining to the viewers, Itachi walked over.

"You provoked Orochimaru into using Edo Tensei so you could copy it, didn't you?"

"Yes. I'd rather never have to use it, but just in case. Please keep the Sharingan and Edo Tensei matters secret!"

"Of course. Thanks to you I won't have to worry about my eyesight deteriorating, so I'll keep your secret."

Before reinforcing Shisui's Mangekyo, I had upgraded the hidden Sharingan Itachi had found and given it to him after it awakened as a Mangekyo. "Right now I'm in the middle of reinforcing Shisui's Mangekyo!"

"You'll all keep it a secret, right?"

They gave small smiles and nodded.

After dealing with Orochimaru and Kabuto, I stepped outside and spoke to Itachi. "Now we just need to seal the part of Orochimaru that's inside Sasuke and Anko and we're done."
