12. Genius Idea
Unlike the playful way I'd tossed out that Sibam Kkwang line, the entire cave suddenly filled with blinding light. Then, from who-knows-where in this ceiling-less cavern, a massive bolt of lightning came crashing down right onto the King Frog.
And from there, thick tendrils of electricity arced out, flashing through the remaining frogs around it.
"Whoa..."
Holy shit. One spell wiped out all the trash mobs and shaved 40% off the boss's HP. Was this a type advantage? Forty percent from a single spell? That had to be a crit, right? And the King Frog that took the lightning hit was trembling uncontrollably. Damage plus a free CC effect. Fucking awesome.
"Jun-sik, get in there! It's paralyzed right now!"
"Uwaaaah!"
- Bam!
Jun-sik activated his Mana Shield and charged with a body slam. Did this guy actually think of himself as Jun-sik-mon?
"Nice one, Jun-sik-mon!"
If he did well, praise was in order. Anyway, he threw his full body weight behind that shield bash, knocking the King Frog flat on its back. Jun-sik hacked away at the downed boss with his sword, and I unloaded every skill I had. The boss's HP dropped to half in no time. Man, this was too easy.
- Boing!
The paralysis wore off, and the King Frog sprang back up, leaping high into the air. With its HP at 50%, it must've shifted phases or something.
What next? Shockwave on landing? Or some aerial attack?
I tried predicting based on my gaming experience, but I was way off.
"Huh? Oppa, why's it getting bigger? Eeeek?"
The frog, mid-jump, gaped its massive maw and dove straight at Ye-na, swallowing her whole.
"Kyaaahhh!"
"Oh no! Ye-naaa! Honeyyy! The f-f-frog ate Ye-na..."
[10:00] → [09:59] → [09:58]
A timer appeared above the King Frog: [10:00]... [09:59]... [09:58]... So in phase 2, it swallows the highest DPS dealer—Ye-na in this case—forcing her out of the fight. After 10 minutes, she dies, and it grabs someone else. Got it.
"It's okay, Ji-young. Ye-na's not dead. If we kill the King Frog before time's up, she should be fine. Her HP's still full, right?"
"Yeah, honey. HP's intact. Phew... Thank goodness. But we gotta take it down fast to get her out."
Ji-young's wide-eyed shock at Ye-na getting eaten was adorable.
But now our top DPS was out, leaving me as the only real damage dealer. Could I burn the remaining 50% in 10 minutes? This was tougher than I thought. Nah, we'd been abusing lightning magic for easy mode. This was probably normal difficulty kicking in. No time to overthink—full throttle on DPS.
Attack... Double Shot... Attack... Arrow Bomb... Attack... Arrow Shower... Attack... Attack...
Meanwhile, Ji-young was spamming Light Butterflies. If they came out of her mouth, she'd be Pigsy or something. Man, when was the last time I even thought about Pigsy?
HP: 42% | Time: [07:21]
"Argh, why's this thing hopping around like that?"
As an archer, mobile targets were a pain to hit. And that timer floating overhead made me antsy.
In this game, death drops a small gravestone at your spot. Take it to a temple for revival. Ghosts are translucent, stuck near the stone, but you can chat with the living—no boredom. Or use the nearby temple respawn button, but it costs 5x more gold.
HP: 28% | Time: [03:20]
I kept peppering the hopping King Frog with skills when a genius idea hit me. Arrow Shower shows a circle where the arrows land, and you can resize it. So if I shrank it to a single point...?
Boom. All arrows focused on one spot—no waste. Straight to the King Frog's head.
Hell yeah. Am I a genius or what? Let's try it.
I aimed the pinpoint Arrow Shower at its head. Arrows rained down in a straight line, slamming only into its skull.
- Ribbit ribbit ribbit! Ribbit ribbit!
Oh, that pissed it off? Geniuses just attract jealousy by existing, huh?
"Damn, being too smart is a curse."
"Finally lost it? What're you on about?"
I ignored Jun-sik's jab and waited out the 10-second cooldown. Watching arrows thud into its head was hilarious.
"Head! Head! Head!"
Every cooldown, boom—another pinpoint shower to the dome. Finally, I split that skull wide open. This was archery.
"Ribbit... Ptooey!"
HP hit zero. The King Frog gaped wide and spat out Ye-na, then slowly dissolved into light.
"Aaaah..."
"Ye-na, you okay?"
Jun-sik rushed to support her... and yep, game delivering as promised. Part of her outfit had melted, exposing one breast and part of her ass completely.
Ah... Ye-na's tits were gorgeous.
Pale skin, pink nipples... Not small in real life—maybe B-cup—but customized a bit larger? They looked heavy and perfect. The robe's tight fit and no bra had hinted at the shape, but this matched my fantasies exactly. With her milky skin, that soft curve, and those pink nips, it was every guy's dream rack.
"Yeah, I'm fine, honey. Fun experience, actually. Thought it'd be pitch black inside, but the frog turned transparent—could see everything outside. Wasn't claustrophobic at all."
Even in VR, hyper-realism would suck for swallowed players—trapped in darkness. Claustrophobes might panic. So they made swallowed monsters transparent for visibility.
"Ye-na, cover up with this for now."
Since Jun-sik looked clueless, I stripped off my shirt and wrapped her lower half. Could've peeked more down there, but better to cover her up.
"Eeeeh? What happened to my clothes?"
Ye-na frantically cupped her exposed breast. No way she'd imagined acid melt. Good show over... Such pretty tits. Too pretty.
"Melted when it swallowed you, I guess. Dungeon's done—let's head back to town."
"Yeah, oppa... Thanks for the clothes."
Her lower half was covered by my shirt now, so just hide that one tit. As things settled, Ji-young approached.
"Nice move, honey. Who knew clothes could melt like that? This game is weird..."
Normal games track durability, not melting or tearing. But with Nudity Mod on max exposure, female clothes only do this. Bet male gear wouldn't melt. Imagining dudes stripped like that? Ew, nightmare fuel. No thanks.
"One-off thing. Won't happen again."
Right? Melting clothes aren't common. Probably.
Gained massive EXP and 'Frog Legs'.
◈ Incredibly savory and tender. Trades for high prices among gourmet foodies.
What the hell? We grind our asses off for frog legs? Lame. Thanks to the Item Farming Minimize Mod, no random gear drops—only special stuff. Everything else scales from shops.
◈ Removes item min-stat and min-level limits.
◈ Auto-scales item stats based on character level/traits.
◈ Limits gear from hunting. All equipment available in shops.
My weapon scales with my level, so I just pick looks. Jun-sik and I chose this mod to skip grindy farming.
Frog legs, though? Food drop? Guess pig mobs drop pork, cows drop beef?
What the actual fuck? Game's trolling hard.
Shaking off the letdown, I checked levels. Hit level 10.
Nice, new skills. But with half-naked Ye-na here, I'd check later. Time to bail.
"Everyone hit exit. Meet outside."
